  The game itself is good, movement system is bad but that will probably be updated. I know this game only came out but in my opinion they should've at least checked that the teleport system work, it works roughly half of the time, the settings and menu system isn't great, but it'll get better once the game gets updates and gets older. Physics and grapcis 9/10 If you play this game and want a cool painting game i recommend this game. EDIT: the developers fixed the problem and the game is much better. This game is very good, and it's early access aswell so much good and cool updates will come in the future.

  The game its self is very good, the studio is customisable and that is a nice feature. The painting in the game is good and the physics are realistic. The hand interaction does take a while to get use to as the hands aren't 100% aligned with my Quest 2 Controllers and feels a bit off. The games is good, but i suck at painting. 7/10

  The controls are just anti index user. The hands do not match where my hands are in every single other vr game with hands, which immediately is immersion breaking and confusing. A game where I need to be precise to paint or draw things how I want mixed with being thrown off by the misplacement of my hands is not great. The game also doesn't explain anything to me, I can't figure out how to change colours easily or entirely wipe a brush. I keep having residue from paint even after washing a brush for a whole minute in water, so that doesn't seem to work. The controls are also horrible from the start, though you can fix most of the issues (such as not needing to press in the grab button to drop a item, instead of just letting go), you have to still deal with clunky movement and the weird hands. The store page advertises almost realistic painting, but I can't seem to find how to paint the things I want at all. It seems either like a mixed hell or ms paint level bland straightness. The painting controls and ability is so bad that I'd rather put up with the mess and cost of real life painting than deal with the frustration and limitation of painting in this app. I couldn't follow a Bob Ross video without getting absolutely frustrated, unable to find how to do something like tapping the brush on the canvas, or the game just brings in some of the original red of my brush when I am trying to use white, even though I washed it, so I know something's wrong. If you can't simply follow Bob Ross in a painting app even slightly, something is wrong. I will be refunding the game until better controls are added by default, the ability to clean a brush actually works, the painting actually works as advertised, and index users aren't given the middle finger.

  I own both Painting VR and Vermillion. I have limited mobility and paint from a seated position. Vermillion is more true to oil painting but from my point of view is too frustrating because of its very limited movement options. Painting VR however is a dream to use seated and is heaps of fun. I recommend it wholeheartedly and though it needs some polishing it is good now and I'm sure will get better.

  Unbelievably buggy and broken! Game continuously lost tracking on my headset, sending me spiraling about the room! And no, this doesn't happen on any other game. And when it did work, it was nothing close to user friendly. Why would the only way to clean my brush of color be a bucket on the floor?? A mason jar of water on the easel wasn't available? Complete rubbish.

  Not in a good playable state at the moment. The game is very buggy and the controls as well, it has not good hand tracking, so whenever you wanna pick up a item, good luck with that. The game does have potential to become one of the best drawing/painting VR games, but for now I won't recommend it.

  I got very excited when I saw this game and thought it would be perfect for someone who loves VR and to paint! To my disappointment the game is very laggy and sadly unplayable. What makes the game actually unplayable is its horrible tracking and constantly crashing. I have no problem in any other games with the tracking or lagging but in Painting VR it keeps spinning out. I keep having to restart my whole computer to close the game and get VR to work again. But each time I try to play the game the same issues keep happening. One of the buggs I encountered was that I could not get the tutorial videos to work. Most of the time they just didn’t start at all and if they started they played for a few seconds before freezing. No biggie, I can just google it instead, but I couldn’t close the tutorial screen so I had to restart the game. In the very few minutes I could paint the features were great! The way the paint mixes and brush slides on the canvas feels realistic and balanced. Even the finger painting was convincing and fun! As it is now I would not recommend buying Painting VR, instead wait a couple of months until it works and is worth the price. Looking forward to updates, can't wait to be able to paint!

  The paint / brush physics is really amazing. It gives genuine feeling of painting. To compare Painting VR and Vermillion, I tested a painting session with Bob Ross. With Vermillion I was not even close to reproduce the brush effects that Bob demonstrate. In Painting VR it was quite feasible. I recomend !
