Edit: turned comments on, forgot they arent on by default. I don't often write reviews, but after looking through the reviews available i felt i needed to. There aren't nearly as many cut-scenes as people seem to be making it out as unless they are counting the parts where the guy starts talking and you cant build or interact with stalls, but you're still able to move and get to where you'll need to be before he finishes. The first hour or so of the basic explanation tutorial quests is slow, but once you get past that it picks up quite rapidly. The base defense section is completely unnecessary at early levels, and other than the possible required quest for it you don't even need to bother with it until much later. The basic hellfire attack that you see people complaining does nothing is intended to be a little extra damage output while closing distance or charging one of the bigger abilities like the fireball or the dark beam, not your main damage source. After the sixth quest you are able to switch attacks as you want. The keys are NOT intended to be farmed from basic enemies as far as I can tell. In order to find them the best way is either destroying Feral nests or using the sense mode and digging up the buried treasure which is highlighted in yellow. The sense mode does cost your mana, same as gliding or sprinting, so you have to be careful and sparing on how much you use it early on, but it recharges quite quickly so its not too much of an issue. I can and do understand the complaints about clunky melee and FPS issues, but this game is in fact using Early Access content as its intended. They built the majority of the game before release, then put into Early Access to allow players who WANT to try out the game and help them tweak and optimize things as they work on polishing the final details have access to it at a lower price than is planned for the full release. They have already given us an idea of the amount of time the game will spend in Early Access, and will be posting a road-map a little down the line for what they plan during this time as they receive feedback. No, I don't think this game is flawless by any means, but just because you don't like how Early Access is SUPPOSED to be used doesn't mean you should directly insult the game developers like some of the reviews have. It was your choice to buy it on the first day of early access and you had the option to wait if you wanted. This game has very serious potential and I would hate to see it ruined simply because of review spam from people who don't like Early Access games but still bought the game anyway. While yes it does need optimization on the graphical front, its honestly impressive how little issues I've had on a 3 year old laptop given the number of particle effects that are ALWAYS on screen. The melee combat could use some SERIOUS work, but its still usable and the charge attack is one of the most useful things in the entire game for fighting the Lost and Feral enemies. Pros || - Very smooth weapon handling and resource collection - Intuitive island difficulty scaling that you are fully in control of as the islands get more dangerous as you fight more - Lots of unlock-able attack and spell options for customization Cons || - Sound design could use some work as the attack sounds do seem to just drop to the background randomly - Lower FPS limit currently, but will likely get better as the game gets updates - Basic melee combat is clunky and has very little to no movement allowed while attacking Funny bits || - the rag-dolls from explosions and charge attacks are absolutely hilarious - The lore is honestly impressively done and covers a lot of things, but my god do the basic citizens seem like they've regressed in evolution - It gives you NO hand-holding protection from the big enemies and they WILL eat you if you aren't careful. Yes I do mean LITERALLY eat you, it looks like you may have the ability to fight your way back out later on, but I was so low level when it happened I died immediately. The stomach honestly had a health-bar and a rendered room. TLDR : If you only want a completely finished game with minimal to no bugs and optimization issues, do not buy this game as they do intend to use Early Access as a true Early Access testing period. If you enjoy playing games just for the game and believe in a company actually listening to feedback (yeah, yeah, I know how rare that is) feel free to buy it now and give them some. Given they are actually responding in both reviews and discussions, they do plan on actually doing that.

Let me make this clear, this game is early access like how dinosaurs were earth's early access. This game could be fun. It's currently not. This game could be optimized. It's currently not. This game could fantastic. It's a long way from that. What this game does well in its current state is crash, and show you just how much potential it has. It has combos, it has ranged and melee combat, interchangeable. It has farming and grinding. It has goal posts for the casual and hardcore gamer. It has crafting and base building. It has open world combat in that there are big islands, and they are connected by portals to your home base. It has gods that can be killed through immense effort of your own. It has giant godlike body parts you can rip and loot. It doesn't have a stable framerate on a high end gaming pc. It doesn't have a well designed storage and active inventory system. It doesn't have a strong starting key layout to easily introduce people to the game. It doesn't have very good tutorials, and if you exit the game during them, it has no tutorials. It doesn't have much in the way of balancing, from combat, to quests, to crafting, to currency. It doesn't have a good feeling, yet. But it feels like it could if you give the devs six months. I really think the devs should pull this game off steam, work it in house for six more months and release in a far more polished state. Taking time away to address front end stuff like balance and progression while having unsolved back end problems creates a much large bottleneck to making a finished product and selling it to the intended crowd. Early access is to help polish the game, and right now devs need to throw this into a rock tumbler to get the rough bits out. Do that, and I will come back. Until then, do not buy this game, the current state of it is nearly unplayable and definitely not fun. Yet. See you in six months.

Bland and boring. The trailers make it look more fun that it really is. Your range weapons barely do anything and you have to spam the F key to melee attack which makes it harder to move with D while Meleeing. The graphics look nice, but the gameplay feels clunky. Can't rebind most keys, and exploring isn't worth jack unless you find keys which "Can" not always drop from enemies, so you can open chests that you find way out there. Can't recommend right now. Maybe with time and development it might become something better but for now not worth investing in. Edit* I had finished the first page of quests. It became tedious running to the wall than back after doing very little work. Then when having to fight enemies it wasn't clear whether or not I should be melee or shooting them. Melee kills faster but sucks for having to spam F key repeatedly without all hits being rated as connecting with very no fluid motions for combos. The ranged damage just felt so weak and felt like it was supposed to be as a back up. Killing simple enemies with just range took to long, and the guard post in the Extraction mission took way too long. So here's my overall list of good and bad for you @Myll_Erik. The Good: - Graphics and Detail are a good match for the theme of the game - Music from what I have heard is great and matches the area - Character Design even though limited to Male or Female is at a good balance of not over the top or under par with how each one holds itself - Enemy Design looks good from just the starter stuff - You as a Dev reaching out and wanting to know more from the player base The Bad: - Not Clear intentions of what Combat is supposed to be primary. Melee or Ranged? If Ranged then the ragdolls need to be cut back greatly, if melee, then the hitboxes and registration of melee needs improvement so it feels like I hit them, and cause some knock back after a combo - The tutorial needs some cut down on basics or an option added that you are a seasoned gamer and don't need to know WASD move, and Spacebar jumps - Cutscenes, while nice, they were a bit of an annoyance as it tried to explain to me to jump across a bridge when I understood just by looking at the bridge to jump over gaps. It could have just been a voice play over while crossing that falling had downfalls to it, didn't need a cutscene for it. Same with telling me that the Tower Increases HP which gives me more defense in surviving. Not all gamers are new, having toggles or options that say I'm seasoned I don't need my hand held for basics would go a long way, where explaining certain systems that I wouldn't know would be best explained with a readable guide in game via the menu as a refresher if I forget. - Ragdolls, they just need to be toned down. I don't know where an enemy has gone flying all the time when hit from an explosion and sometimes I lose track of them flying over me and then start getting hit from behind not knowing what is going on because I've got something in front of me as well. - Enemy HP Bars disappearing after not hitting for a bit. This should stay on screen at all times over the enemies head if in X Range and not fade over time. As my ragdoll point above, if the HP bar is gone, I don't know if its a new enemy or one that I've already been dealing damage to, and if my HP is at a certain point of Fight or Flight I need to know if I can take it on or should run and recover. If its a new enemy odds are I'd probably run if my HP is low, where if it's low HP I know I could finish it off with some range and then recover safely that way. - Didn't see a timer for the Extraction Point, this would be a good UI element to have so I know how long I have to defend it instead of just waiting. For the Extraction thing I did I activated, walked away, and saw nothing of danger after being told I would have to defend it. - Combo Animations, they need some smoothing out for the melee combo so it doesn't feel so stiff. I did karate and taekwondo through Jr High and High School and the motions aren't instant, they move with a flow to them and this makes it feel like I'm going from Pose A, to Pose B without moving my body at all. This is more of a minor thing that wouldn't affect actual gameplay but the feeling of it. - Town Center, It's good that nearly everything is in the town center for shops and such, but it is a tad bit annoying having to leave it to go to a training dummy to test something and then have to run back to swap things around if it didn't work well or wasn't what I was after. I'd also add in a Ally NPC Dummy that has Low HP that you can use Healing Weapons on to see how they work in combination as well. - Inventory Limit: This isn't pure bad, but it isn't great either, it's meh. When out doing the extraction mission I managed to collect mostly only the materials that were laying about, one boar kill, and one chest with two items in it and it said I was at 90% full. It took less than 8 minutes to stuff my inventory bags to the brim. Either it needs a bigger size, or certain items go straight to a bank inventory that has unlimited space and has no effect on my carrying capacity for other things. - Looting: This is just bad to me. Having to open the item, singular item like resources, and then have to press the same button again to loot when I should be able to press the button once and take it all, or walk over it to pick it up. I can understand Chests being open and pick out the loot you want, but a resource node or gold drops should just be auto picked up for me without having to press other things. Example of this would be Outriders allowing H to be pressed to pick up all loot on the map currently, or Warframe's Vaccum feature grabbing anything that is in range to be picked up including mods, blueprints, resources, and ammo. - Chests: I like that exploring rewards me for doing so, but having it locked behind a key for each one is excessive. Primal should be a freebie opening for them, as they are low level looking chests, which I opened 2 of and got the same weapon stone from them both. The Godly and Ascended chests that I found would make sense to have a key to open them, as they were a bit more out of the way and hidden, but should have a marker put up for you after you find it so you can return with a key to open them after. My Advice for fixing things: - Combat: Make it clear with a tutorial that either the Ranged style or Melee style is what is intended with the other being a back up. If it is supposed to be a mix then I would not have F bound as melee, rather I would have E, or using 1 / 2 to swap between Ranged and Melee combat so the Mouse Clicks are still how damage is put out. - Enemy HP Bars, Make these Static over each enemy that you have injured and not fade away. If out of a certain range then hide them away until I get close enough again, even if I can hit them from a long range. This would make determining priorities during combat of what can die now, if I need to run and recover, or if I can stand my ground and finish the battle bruised and win. - Cutscenes: Make these skippable, with cutting down on ones that are pointless as per example jumping the bridge and having a cutscene to tell me not to fall into the water. This could easily just be a voice over trigger for when I reach that location. - Prayer Wall: Make this accessible anywhere, without having to return to it all the time unless the end of a Quest. Let me start a quest from out in the world without having to go to the board. - Primal Chests: Open without a key, as they don't seem to reward super well. - Keeping Up Interaction: This is a big thing. For the game to gain ground and fix mistakes and go in a better direction, listen to the feedback, all of it. This will build reputation with the gamers who want your game to succeed.

Very bad first impression. Unskippable cutscenes, poor optimization, etc. The colors are extremely washed out and none of the video settings seemed to help. I only managed to get a decent framerate after turning all the graphics settings to their lowest. From what I played, it seems like it's got a Monster Hunter meets Warframe thing going on. You have a lot of mobility options, your gauntlets can be fired and charged independent of one another. Melee features swinging and ground pounds and rhino charges. You can see what they're going for but, like the rest of the game, it needs polish badly. It's either the framerate or the controls themselves but it just doesn't feel responsive enough. Another thing that stuck out was the sound design. I normally don't complain about SFX, but the wimpy sounds made everything feel weak and tacky. Overall, yet another case of too Early Access. It's going to need a lot of work to get somewhere decent and even more to get somewhere good. We'll see I suppose.

Really sick and tired of having to pay to QA very blatant bugs and optimizations in so many recent titles. Labeling something as early access does not give a blanket pass on the most obvious of things. First impressions mean a lot regardless of how things are labeled if were being charged a price for it.

*update at bottom* Refunded TL;DR game runs like ass and you will spend at least an hour in unskip-able cut-scenes and extremely tedious busy-work before you can get to any "God Killing" *Edit* Since people seem to be extremely bright in the comments, No I did not play the game for literal hours, that is obvious from the game time, however in the hour I did play there were so many cut-scenes that were not skip-able that I can easily predict the next few hours of gameplay. The worst part was that the majority of cut-scenes felt entirely unnecessary, stuff like explaining redundant information or things anyone who has ever played a game ever would already understand. what I did play in my single hour of play time was so boring though that I wanted to just stop and refund it. consider that going forth The Dev commented that you can skip hitting Esc, but yeah tried that and no doesn't work. Maybe I should mention that you should be able to skip the long dialogue segments that aren't "technically cut-scenes" but you gotta sit there and get told something that was obvious anyway Also yeah sorry I can be long winded ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First and foremost the game will try to blow your eardrums out when you launch it, set your system volume to 1, and you will still hear the 5 minute opening cutscene clear as day. Controls: Once you launch it it puts you right into a basic tutorial for getting a feel for the controls. The character steers and moves like a cow covered in oil. You often get hit with animations you are stuck in, sometimes you will run an extra 5 meters before you stop. if you jump and land you get stuck in place for a full second, doesn't matter how high you jumped. there is no fluidity to the controls whatsoever, and in a game all about killing large monsters that is a no-go. Sound: Aweful. Will make your eardrums bleed even when volume is low, and even then there are probably at most 100 "sounds" in the game total. I noticed after 20 minutes of play that the same weird background noise was constantly playing.... constantly.... but you basically are either dealing with something that is overwhelmingly loud drowning out every other sound, or practically no sound at all. They must have paid that voice actor a TON btw cause the dude is constantly talking, none of it skippable, and you HAVE to listen to it before you can do the next objective Combat: Yikes, considering that is supposed to be the focus here, they really dropped the ball hard. Since the controls are jankier and stiffer than monster hunter, it often feels like you are fighting with the controls that whatever is in front of you. This works fine for monster hunter, since that game is about mastering inputs and knowing your weapon/the monster. but for this game there is none of that, its just "shoot/punch bad thing" so the controls hinder you. Other than that, most everything that is considered "trash" ragdolls like crazy with almost no gravity. So the game will tell you to kill 10 trash baddies, but each one takes like 30+ seconds to kill cause you are having to chase them down or wait for them to fall to the ground... not to mention that the melee attacks don't connect half the time for some reason?. Your main form of attack is a very weak but fast pellet shot with left click, or a charge up strong blast aoe with right click. anything else you use isn't gonna do much at all it seems. Performance: Hit an extremely large frame drop one launch, it was kinda ok after that, but im running on a 2080Ti and i9-9900k so I shouldn't have a lot of issues anyway. but I can already imagine lesser rigs struggling in some scenes Gameplay: So yeah I didn't even play an hour cause it is just so damn boring. at minimum the first hour or so is just "go to this island (which is a whole loading screen) and kill/collect these things" then "go kill 10 more trash mobs" then "go hunt some boars" then "bring a boar alive to an extraction point". keep in mind each of these had long dialogue moments between them and really really boring traversal segments... oh yeah, traveling around sucks too but I'll get to that soon. I kept thinking to myself "man i just have to deal with this to get to the good stuff" but after a straight hour of it with no clear end in sight I just gave up. its clear they want to waste your time so you have 2 hours on record and can't refund the game. Stamina system: So they game has a stamina system, fine... or it would be. You use stamina for practically everything... Jumping, gliding, sprinting, shooting from your gauntlet, "eagle eye" search mode, and probably more I didn't get to. why? why would you mix the stamina and magic bars together like that? you are going to run for like 10-15 seconds, then have to wait a second to sprint again, on these super massive islands? Gliding drains stamina way faster too, and when you run out while gliding you drop like a rock. it feels bad, change it, or just make sprinting free at the least Tutorials: So this is an odd one for sure. When you listen to the tutorials, they are talking to you like you have NEVER played a game in your life.... Shit like "if you increase your health, you can take more damage without going down, and will let you survive longer!" really? it just kinda feels like they are talking down to you a lot of the time... not to mention they are all drawn out excessively Anyway, this is a hard pass. They even put the game on sale right away so even they don't seem to think it will do well *Update 1* I gave the game another go just to push myself to at least try to fight a god, and now im 2 hours in and still no gods. idk if I'm doing something wrong or if the game is just tedious. There are some Large monsters you do get to fight, they are ok but very very tanky. One big issue I ran into is that when you go to islands, you are put into a game with other players... this isn't usually an issue, but I had a mission to kill a giant thing and get its gauntlet.... only for another player to snipe it from me. that and we both tried to grab it at the same time, but for some reason he ended up with the gauntlet and I ended up bugged with a "E to Drop" icon on my screen and I couldn't use E to do anything at all until that player ended up leaving the game.. so yay? game also crashes a lot suddenly I'll maybe give it more time.. maybe

Rating 7/10 Pros - Great Character Tier and Stats Customization - Lots of gear and multiple play style to choose from - Worth the money - press TAB to change load out easily - Repeatable spot to get stuff inside the game - Hotfix coming in fast - Developer do listen to their users Cons - You spend a lot of time grinding this game - Playing solo early game can frustrate your game play when you die too many times - You need to READ THE ARCHIVE - Hard to heal when your only option is to open inventory and eat food - No Hotkey yet - Quest might stuck if you play offline in Slot 1 character (DON'T DO THIS) - Graphic is not optimized yet, fps may drop until 30 and below - Melee seems a bit clunky but playable First few hours no hiccup, smooth and a bit slow to start. Then fun starts to kick in around level 10, then you start to get crash often. Mind you this game is still in Early Access state so expect more errors and patching from developer, but good job on making this game addictive. The concept is like Escape From Tarkov, you enter raid, you farm resources, extract it, get out. But PVE and no PVP. Character progression was fast, if you are high level farming with low level tier you still get a lot of experience and your loot is based on your tier. I personally played this game just 2 days with 35 hours on level 45 now. It's easy once you get the idea of what to do. For beginners and character build, READ THE ARCHIVE. It definitely helps. You can do a lot of experimental build, FULL MELEE DPS, FULL RANGE DAMAGE, FULL TANKER, FULL SUPPORT / HEALER or it can be a Hybrid build. It depends on your play style. My favourite build is Full Magic against Predator so you do more damage with range weapons and hit better on Elder Gods. Give this game a few hours, if you don't understand again READ THE ARCHIVE. Hopefully you guys can enjoy as much as I enjoy grinding this game. :) Later when I get my internet back I will live stream this game for sure Facebook Livestream - fb.gg/seraveem

Ok, where start, this game is good at first. The grind is extremely real on this one. One hard negative in this game is the rag doll physics. It's so extreme and ridiculous, it's cost me many many many deaths. Second, the animations are too long, for being an action game things need to be quick and responsive, most controls and animations are not. The last mission on the quest board made me rage so hard due to the BS compass which doesn't display bosses, and in the last quest it's needed so bad cause that damn high lord whom is resistant to everytning will destroy everything you took days upon days upon days grinding in seconds. I say pass on this game until this shit is fixed. Co-op is not existent, clans are abandoned, I barely found a clan that had 12 members and none have been on since I joined a month ago.

***First, I wanna make this clear: I'm only probably halfway through the game. I'm level 55 and havent unlocked the Hollows yet which I imagine is a whole new side of the game. It's also more geared towards multiplayer but I play solo. TLDR; This game is fun, pretty unique, should definitely get it but has a rough start.*** With that out of the way, let's get more in depth. As I said, game has a rough start. First 10-15 minutes you're weak as hell and can barely fight anything bigger than you. But once you learn how to dodge and get to Evolved (level 10 or so) you REALLY start getting strong fast and by level 25 I was annihilating most things pretty easily and could dodge almost any attack. Even Gods are a piece of cake with the right loadout (vampiric sigil, drain sigil, and dual ember stones lol). However, even though you can master this multiplayer game as a solo player relatively quickly (I'm level 55 so take that with a grain of salt), there is still a pretty big emphasis on cooperation. So much so infact that looting and collecting big monster parts for extraction is a big pain in the ass. Killing multiple bosses is easy, collecting their parts before they despawn while also trying to make sure the bosses themselves dont despawn is hard. What makes it worse is that the boss movements are hard to control. You can't bait them to following you to the extraction point, wherever you fight them is kinda where they stay. This is obviously problematic in a game where you can't figure out how to connect to another player's game outside of steam friends. I have never managed to figure out how to connect to random people's games yet, and as I said I'm level 55 already and I've only played with one FRIEND even though I have all my hunts set to public. Either the game is dead or it's extremely hard to find another player, but either way, if you get this game, expect to play solo and expect to run into these problems I mentioned. Now, this could easily be fixable. Developers, please fix the Heroic Call amulet and the Lure amulet. These two amulets are ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Heroic Call gets enemies to aggro on you, but as a solo player they're aggroed on me anyways. Make it to where they are enraged and FOLLOW the player relentlessly. This would make solo hunts easier as you can simply lead big monsters to where ever you want to kill/harvest them. Lure is the opposite. It spawns a big magic decoy hologram that gets enemies to stop attacking you and focused on the hologram. This only works on immediately non-damaged enemies (enemies that you havent damaged within a certain period of time) which honestly makes this useless as you're pretty much almost always gonna be damaging something. It also doesnt LURE them anywhere. Big monsters stay where they are and don't go towards the Lure so you cant really use it for anything. It fails as an effective distraction as you have to stop shooting your target for a long while for them to change aggro, and it fails as a Lure because they dont follow the Lure. Make it to where Lure's effects are instantaneous (they change aggro immediately regardless of damage), persistent (they stay focused on lure so that you can keep attacking), and an actual lure (draws all enemies in close proximity so that you can actually somewhat control enemy movements). I believe these two small fixes will mitigate the massive drawbacks of playing solo in a game where you can hardly find anyone to play with. Aside from solo playing v. multi-playing, another big issue is bosses. A god is SUPPOSED to spawn EVERY time the anger level gets to level three, but sometimes its random and they dont spawn when theyre suposed to. Other issues like charged stones can't shoot past your own shield or cant shoot when carrying small items or on the ground exists. Constant framerate stutters exist too. I get it's early access but these issues are clear as day. Also why is the crit damage capped at +100%? Between the gauntlets and power stones, that cap is reached easily. This makes the Hunter Sigil: Focus useless as it doesn't increase the cap at all. Remove the cap and let us get as much crit damage as we want. Another thing, let solo players benefit at least a LITTLE from pack-based effects. Like if you're solo then you get the effect x1, with a friend then x2 and so on. That way it's not a complete waste. (Upon further review it appears it does work this way but either it doesnt work all the time or it just doesnt appear correctly on the status overview) Another major issue is amulet and power stone balancing. Let me quickly provide a list of all the more or less useless amulets and power stones and why (I had to rewrite this three times because steam was being stupid): Meteor Storms (includes Lightning Storm, Sh- Storm, and etc)- decent damage, but very inconsistent especially when enemies constantly move out of the way. Rework it to be like Overseer Gods' tornado where the target area moves towards enemies or Overlords Gods' Storm Cloud where it shoots directly at enemies. Shield Amulet (Wildfire Shield, Solar Shield, etc)- Blocks damage so works, kinda? But any charge up power stones (so 70% of them) cant shoot out of the shield so it ends up being pointless. Fix this issue and it'll be much much more useful. Trail Amulets (Winters Fury, Blaze of Glory, etc)- Fun concept, but damage is horrendous. Just buff the tick rate of damage so it "melts" enemies or buff the damage outright. Awens Blessing- Wow, this one is pathetic. Hardly heals, I think all it does is buff your regen rate and it barely does anything. What's worse is that the primal Awens Blessing you first get is far better due to the low charge capacity making it spammable. Completely rework this one, seriously. HellStone series (hellspark, hellfrost, etc)- basic but quickly outmatched in dps. Just buff the damage on them. ShotStone series (iceshot, fireshot, plasmashot, etc)- kindof redundant when compared to the ember stone and lightning stone which are spammable. Increase the accuracy of this series when charged up as well as increasing the number of projectiles to make them standout more. ShieldStone series (lightning shield, ice shield, etc)- This stone is actually harmful to the player, it hardly accomplishes its function and when dodging is most of the time a better option, this stone is better off salvaged. It needs a full rework. LaserStone Series (sun stone, moon stone, poison stone, etc.)- similar to the Hell Stone series, its solid but quickly out performed by other stones. Rather than buff damage, buff the rof so that its different to the hellstones. Plasma Stone- useless. absolutely useless. Especially when you read its description and realize what its actually SUPPOSED to do. Just have it work like a mini-morning star because this one aint it. Healing stones- they're not bad but as a solo player you hardly ever have a use for them. Now you may be wondering, why complain so much? Because this game is outstanding and the combat is very innovative, but I find all my loadouts following the same pattern. Why ever use a meteor storm or trail over a Morning Star? The damage is good and it literally never misses. Why use Awens Blessing or a Shield when Ironside+Vampiric is much much more effective? Why use Hellspark when I can spam ember stones, or use Chargestone+Blaststones for big numbers? The game has variety but not really. You have options, its just that most of the options suck. Aside from all this, the game is great and I havent been able to stop playing. I strongly recommend you look past these issues and get it, even if you play solo like me. EDITED REVIEW IN COMMENTS

This game is, as advertised, clearly in its Early Access. The ragdoll physics have been the source of both frustration and hilarity. I've fallen through the map a couple of times. Stuff spawns weird. Animations are a bit stiff. There are features that have yet to be added (see: assignable hotkeys for consumables and mid-air recovery). Despite all of this, I've been absolutely LOVING this game. I haven't poured this many hours into a game in a while. Looting is a blast, especially when you're harvesting giant monster organs and appendages. Finding randomly-spawning chests in the world is a nice bonus, too. Harvesting minerals to craft and build your city feels - to me - more fun than tedious. Needing to 'port out your loot can make a simple materials run into a Giant-monster-slaying rollercoaster. If you have other people to slay monsters with - even randoms that spawn into your lobby - it's a blast. Does the game need a hefty amount of polish? Yeah, it does. But it doesn't stop it from being very, very fun. I'm happy that I bought it, because I now know for certain that I want to support this developer. If this game is this much fun in its early stages, I look forward to what they'll be able to do with a little time and money. Buy it!
