  You'll have to be either low on money or higher than clouds if you still played this game in the last 3 years. Absolute joke of a developer, who abandoned their only game that blew up. If you didn't know, JDM4iK has developed Hashirya Drifter and Crash Metal, both mediocre games in their own right. Also, they used assets from Race Driver: Grid, even to this day. I remember seeing the Shibuya map in Hashirya drifter, and you can see the AE86 from the original GRID on the games store page. (And the terrible steam profile art and emoticons) Now, about this game: It used to be fun, and it used to be good, but it plays like a bag of spoiled milk that has been sitting in an abandoned warehouse for 2 years. Even a Blockbuster store has more replay value than this unfinished mess. It's still buggy, it still lacks proper controller support, the official website that hosted mods has been down for years, multiplayer is still janky as hell, and the model quality is questionable at times. This game could have honestly been something special, every game has that opportunity. But, I've never seen someone fumble an opportunity like this so hard and just resort to making terrible mobile drifting games that use stolen gameplay from Forza and CarX for their advertisements, with more microtransactions than the average EA game and published by a company that barely exists. Also, their social media suck. Even if I got this game for free, I'll still feel ripped off. Shame on you, JDM4iK, or whatever your next name or pseudo-company will be. You are probably one of the worst indie developers to have ever walked this planet, and you should thank a lot of Youtubers for getting you to this position in the first place. I know you won't see this, since you only came back to this game to add trading cards and profile backgrounds that looked like they were made by a 9-year-old, but hey, I know someone probably will.

  With the current 90% discount, and the price of Steam cards to this game, you can get it for free, or maybe even get a cent or two in profit. Also, I liked the park of cars aviable, and the possible upgrades to them, they are mostly pretty accurate. However, as for the actual gameplay value, it's going to nil. You've a few tracks to drive through, trying to slide them for some drift points, but, that's it. No real challenge, no complition feeling of any kind. You can get much more from the games released back in '90s and early '00s, and some of them are still aviable on the market, so... I suggest to ignore that title. It's simply not worth any attention, by the overall score. My mark is 3/10, and that's mostly because of swapping the JZ/UZ engines possibility, which is not actually needed, as the driving part is still not really there.

  𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞: A game from the genre of racing simulators that most players acquire due to the presence of collectible cards - which can be resold. The game has excellent graphics! The truth is only in the garage... On the tracks themselves, we have an ordinary indie craft in front of us, with a low-poly environment, which, by the way, is not destructible. But it instantly leads to a stop if you touch it. But in the garage you will find a large selection of cars, which can even be fine-tuned! However, this does not affect the gameplay in any way, since the physics in the game is terrible. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞: 1. Availability of collectible cards. 2. A large selection of cars. 3. The ability to tune a car. 4. The possibility of improving the car. 5. The ability to fine-tune the car. 6. Excellent graphics in the garage. 7. There are some good music tracks. 8. Gamepad support. 9. The presence of multiplayer. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞: 1. You can't change the permission. 2. No control menu. 3. Lack of training/hints which keys are responsible for what. 4. Terrible car physics. 5. The car is repaired instantly if you stop for a while. 6. Damage does not affect the behavior of the car in any way. 7. The car just stands still and roars the engine when playing with the keyboard. 8. Inconvenient control for the gamepad. 9. Oncoming traffic does not react to your car. 10. No damage to the environment. 11. Weak graphical component of the tracks. 12. Lack of music in the garage menu. 13. VERY loud sound of a roaring engine during a race. 14. Endless scrolling of the list of options in the Swap menu. 15. The "BACK" button does not work during the first purchase of the car. 16. The "UPDATE" message does not close and hangs while using the garage, covering part of the screen. 17. Lack of online players. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: We have another thrash game in front of us, for the sake of cards and no more. I do not recommend this product for purchase, especially if you, like me, fell for the excellent screenshots and the trailer of the game. 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:𝟺 /𝟷𝟶. Here ya go Pros- Cars look Nice Fun for a few minutes at a time Cons- Assests most likely bought No way could the dev pay for a licence for the cars. Drifting Physics are odd and not good for keyboard No Controller support Music again most likely not licenced Gets repetitive very fast

TL;DR AT BOTTOM.] This game used to be great, it had so much potential. Infact my original review stated "The best $7 you would ever spend" DSJ was first getting off the ground, people were doing lets plays of it. JDM4iK suddenly had a way bigger follower base on the game. At the time, the game had great physics and a lot going for it. It was recieving regular updates with original content. It all went downhill from there. There was an MX-5 model in the game, and it was ready for release. It wasn't released until several updates later. Before that, there was: A track being changed into day, a multiplayer system, and chat. Ever since the chat system came out, it got worse. People were doing drag races, and blocking roads. Multiplayer got boring. Less updates were happening, less news was coming out. There was a physics update which made drifting a lot harder and a lot less realistic. The MX-5 update came out, with even more broken physics than before. As of this post, the update simply stole a map from Assetto Corsa and made physics unuseable. During the course of all of this, the community wasn't listened to one bit, and was permabanned for trying to speak up about all this going on. Before, I would have said you should buy this game. Now? I think it's just not worth it anymore. 3/10. Stolen content, very broken physics, most of the real players have given up on the game. TL;DR: This game used to be the best driving game ever. Now it's just some horribly designed mashup of stolen maps and models. The community isn't listened to, and when someone points out something bad they get permabanned from everything.
