  This not a review just a QUICK look for anyone who is curious because it's quite expensive for a game so hopefully i save some people money https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_ocDr5tUxY (its processing right now) there is no MIXED only "YES" or "NO" at the moment I'd put it at no but later on it could be something special.

  At present the game does not meaningfully capture the drama of boxing, its tactical battles or the politics of prize fighting. The choice to implement a 3D fight engine seems to be a bad one. The task of the AI representing the complexities of differences in foot work, timing, speed and so on are likely too much for this developer. As a result watching the fight gives you no understanding of how your fighters style matches up nor how their specific skills and abilities in general help or hinder them. I have a high number on their jab but no idea if they have an effective jab when I watch the fight. Because based on what I am seeing they definitely are not controlling the engagements with it or using it to set up shots. There is also no text based commentary like we got on the early FM games. As a result the game becomes a meaningless grind as you can not prepare fighters to overcome the challenges that a specific opponent represents. There is also no system in place for gameplanning beyond picking between 4 "tactics" swarmer, boxer-puncher, out fighter and brawler. No options for a how aggressive and preference for counter punching even. Please do not get this game as at present it feels like theft at the price point and ill conceived in its design. I would highly recommend the mobile game leather which is a simple but very good boxing management game. It understands the tactical battles very well and represents them in a way that is clear and engaging, with adequate controls to meaningfully game plan and make adjustments during the bouts.

  Not a boxing fan, but I enjoy management games with sports. This one is a nice addition to football manager types, or pro strategy football. The fights are fun to watch, the management is fun. It’s a bit pricey but hopefully more features are forth coming. I recommend it if you like sports management and fighting, great job devs.

  As an old boxing manager game fan, all the way from the days of Commodore 64, I have really missed a new take on this genre. This is promising to be a really good game. It is a game still in development. If they keep develop the game in the rate they had since I started play a month ago, this will soon be a really reallyy really good game. If you are looking for a graphicly realistic looking game, this is not for you. If you want an easy to understand game with few choices but a lot of action. This is not for you. This is a manager game. Manager games always have a information overload and lots of tiny choices to make. If that games are your cup of tea then you should stick around and play. They game is evolving fast and the developers listen to you. They actually do. I have high hopes for this one.

  this game should be £5.00 its got next to no content ,in 40 hours ive created a dozen word champs if you sim fight instead of watching it its 50/50 the result,you could take a donkey and turn pro fight world champ whos 10 times better and just keep simulating the fight and he will win sooner or later the way the game is at moment its not worth anymore than a fiver,wil play again in 6months as has potential but devs need a lot of improvent,again way over priced,can complete in couple hours

  Really really great. So far it's super good, thanks for the tutorial also. Only one major complaint so far, which is my opponent lost all his stamina but still moved and punched at the same speed. He should barely be able to throw a punch if any at all if his stamina is zero. I get it if his punches do zero damage but they are still points he is scoring, especially in an amateur fight. Other than that it's great. 3d fights look good.

  This is a solid title that does what you'd expect a boxing management sim to do. The interface resembles what you'd see in Football Manager. To me at least, the couple of fights I've had seemed realistic enough, although I played them out (simming might be a different story). I'm enjoying it so far, and I don't think the Mixed review score is fair, although many of those reviews seem to come from when the game was first released. I'd be so bold as to say that this is the best boxing management sim out there at the moment. The interface could be a bit more tight and I've seen a couple of cosmetic errors in the play by play but there's nothing game breaking so far. It's a decent game. The problem is that for $40 this needs to be a great game, and it isn't. I think the dev hurt his sales and gave people unrealistic expecations with this price point, which might be why the game is rated so poorly. So I'm recommending it overall because it's a fine title, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but the most hardcore Boxing fans at full price. It's a good buy at 40% off or so.

  Freeze when loading. Loading too slow after match finish. Sometimes I have to click twice or more to out from result screen. Wait till sale 90% to buy it if you're interested.

  I really want to like this game as a big boxing fan that has noticed the lack of quality boxing games! Maybe this first issue is due to playing the game on a mac, but the graphics/writing is a little off, very blurry and can't seem to resize the screen, so I am set on just one setting. Next issue is the lack of ability to change weight classes once you have become a champion, I feel like this should be a feature in the game. There is also a lack of features in the game, for a game that was worth £30, you can "Complete' the game within 2-3 hours, unless you create your own fighter.. you can complete it in 1 hour in that case. Finally, once you become a champion, I assume you are meant to get information on "Title History" but this isn't the case at all, my manager shows that he's never won a title in his career.

  Terrible game, try it but set an alarm for 1h 55 mins so you don't miss the refund. If the price ever drops below a fiver I'd try it again after a few updates because I love the idea. But beta or not the interface is horrible and annoying.
