  In all honesty, the price of the game and time it takes to complete it are good. I really want to give it a thumbs up but there are reoccurring issues, like every other VN, that I want devs to divert from in the future. 1. Stop with the little dick syndrome. You don't have to have an unrealistic size "member" in your games. It's ridiculous and stupid. Stop! Guys don't want to see some dude with a little dick bang some chick but we also don't want to see some dude with a dick the size of a leg bang some chick either. 2 Not every guy likes unrealistic size tits either. I've dated a girl that had a natural bra size of FF/GG or something like that and honestly, not that great. There is a point where they are too big to enjoy...at least for me. One of her tits were bigger than my head and she was not fat as most would conclude. It just doesn't look right, same as this game. 3. Proof read your narrative. You have more typing errors than a 6th grader. If English isn't your first language, hire someone to proof read it. So many typing errors in the game; most of them towards the end.

  I will recommend this although I didn't like where the story went about halfway through, especially because it's completely involuntarily and honestly just weird: [spoiler]Mia is supposed to be the main love interest, or at least I kinda sorta presumed that, but she gets completely neglected about halfway through after a few meager shags and instead MC decides to love-pursue his own mom for the rest of the game. Wtf?[/spoiler] Still recommended because I believe in this developer (liked Lust Theory better) and honestly I kinda like Mia, despite some of the despicable things she may or may not have done. Contains a fair number of hot scenes, some of which are great and some of which are meh, most quite repetitive but still nice. Not sure I would play a season 2 if it ever came, given the events that took place here. OK yeah I'll probably play season 2.

  Summer with Mia Season 1 Review

  I am not a big fan of VNs or Sexual games since I prefer shooters & strategy games. But for some reason, I tried this game & was actually invested in it until the end. It was not a new experience for me since I have played a few VNs before but none of them were as long as this. It took forever to finish the game.

  About This Game

  Storyline

  The game has a long-ass storyline. It doesn’t follow a particular path. The events that take place are random but it still makes sense. It has a lot of twists & turns. Funnily enough, you have the power to choose the relationship between most of the main characters. There are also some parts that require you to make a choice. I have no idea if the game has different endings or not but I was not motivated enough to re-play the whole game to find out. So, the base plot of the game goes something like this: You take on the role of a 20-year-old college-going guy. Since he’s still in his prime, his sexual drives are a bit too active. It’s quite obvious that the game’s original plot is a step-family incest plot. But, not everyone likes incest stories & that’s why they allow you to choose the relationship between the characters. Anyways, you can see the extreme sexual motives of the main character & how sly he is with his different plans to get everything to go as per his will. Although most of the game is mostly just sex, there are a lot of interesting non-sexual parts. I forgot to mention, you can choose whether to activate NTR(Netorare) (That’s basically sharing your better half with someone else. It’s basically cheating on your “Lover”.). Depending on what you choose, the storyline branches differently. But there aren’t a lot of differences, it just replaces some parts & dialogues. Even your choices don’t have a lot of effect on the game’s storyline.

  Gameplay Mechanics

  Well, this is a Visual Novel game. All you have to do is to click on the screen to move on to the next dialogue. In some parts, you have a couple of choices & you have to choose from those. That’s literally all there is to the game. Apart from the basics, the game has a Panic button. It’s actually a pretty cool feature. When you click the panic button, it brings up a picture of doge in space with a few texts. "What’s the use of this button?" you may ask. This is useful to hide the screen when you’re playing & suddenly, someone walks into the room. You don’t want others to see you play this game. More NSFW games need to add this feature. You can save the game in three ways. Firstly, there is a Quick-Save option, then there is an Auto-save. The last way is obviously manually saving the game. The game saves at the current dialogue, so when you play the game again, it loads up the same dialogue. This means that you don’t have to repeat a whole segment like in other games. The game also has a “Text-To-Speech” feature where an AI reads the dialogues. I didn’t find it really useful but it might prove to be helpful for other players. What disappointed me is that the game didn’t have an auto-play feature. You have to manually click on the screen after each dialogue. It kinda gets annoying to keep on clicking. But it is what it is. One more thing, they should’ve added an option to go to the previous dialogue just in case you accidentally clicked the screen. I am not sure if such an option existed but I couldn’t find it. Because of this, I missed a lot of dialogues since I accidentally skipped a lot of parts.

  Visuals & Audio

  The visuals are actually really good. The character models look animated but have a lot of realistic details to them. I mean, people look for highly detailed models in NSFW games for the ultimate experience. There are only a few “Video” parts. Those parts were made pretty well. But the only problem is that they are really short. It would be good if they at least looped for a while, but they end as soon as they begin. The female main characters, Mia & Emma, are very attractive. I prefer Emma though. The only drawback in the visuals is that there are quite a few spelling errors in some of the dialogues. I am sure they can fix those in the future updates they would release. The audio segment of this game is really bad. The game is really quiet most of the time. Then all of a sudden, loud-ass music plays. Whenever this happened, my heart nearly stopped. The music they use is really basic & very repetitive. They reuse the same 2-3 soundtracks over & over again. I don’t think they had any money left from their budget after spending a lot on the visuals. There are also a few sound effects here & there. But again, they are really basic & not really intriguing.

  Pros

  <*> A well-written storyline. <*> Very long gameplay. <*> Beautiful Main Characters. <*> Player has the choice to choose the relationship between the character & whether to enable NTR or not. <*> Highly detailed character models although they aren’t that realistic. <*> The game has a Panic Button to save you from unnecessary embarrassment.

  <*> Horrible sound design. <*> Your in-game choices have little to no effect on the game’s plot. <*> There are a few spelling errors in the dialogues. <*> No replayability factor.

  Conclusion

  I am not excited for the second season of this game but I might just give it a shot. I have no idea why this game was interesting but I do not regret playing it. I am not sure if it is everyone’s cup of tea but it doesn’t hurt to give it a shot. I recommend getting this game during a sale if you really want to buy it! Rating: 7/10

  i bought this and lust theory together. it is relatively cheap to get both of them together so i won't complain about the price. Unless you are really bored i wouldn't recommend this game. Lust theory is way better than this one but neither one is even in the same universe as Being a Dik,Dreams of desire,Leap of faith or Acting lessons. SO if your expectations aren't looking for the quality like one of the others i mentioned then pick it up. I am not complaining about the money i am just disappointed about the lack of story content and scene setup. The rendering was decent,the models were pretty good so as i said before if your really bored then go for it. Just don't expect it to be something like any of the previously mentioned games for almost the same money. Hope this helps you decide if your considering buying it.

  Pros: -Plenty of sex scenes to earn if you just want the porn -Story is OK, not going to win any awards in terms of writing but an OK narrative. -Character models are pretty good especially the main girl Mia -Decent run time, finished my first playthrough in about 8-9 hrs -Does include animations, however I should mention that some could be a bit wonky and don't look right Cons: -Virtually no sound outside of the main menu. Not really any music during the playthrough and no sounds during sex scenes. I'd put on something playing in the background if you hate quiet games with virtually no sounds. -Unless you set you relationship statuses to family members such as mom, sister, stepmom, stepsister, etc. the story will not make any sense. This is an incest tale ladies and gents and only that. -Some of the proofreading and quality control in this game can be terrible at times. Mia will sometimes say things that were meant for the MC to say and the opposite. Also they're are plenty of grammar and spelling typos that frequently pop up towards the end of the game that haven't been patched yet. -While the game does offer options to make at times, most of these really have no effect outside of couple different renders, other than that there is almost no real punishment or reward for making most decisions in this game -One and done game, once you finish your first playthrough there is really no reason to play it again since the game follows a linear path and doesn't give you a reason to play again other than for achievements which you can get all on one playthrough if you know what to do. Overall: If your bored and looking for something to do or play in the AVN genre this one is worth a shot in my opinion. Suppose to be a second game coming out at some point and the story in here is actually OK enough that I'm somewhat curious about the next entry in this series. I'd give this one a 7/10, not a bad game but definitely leaves room for improvement.

  If non-stop incestual debauchery is your thing, then Summer with Mia is your game. The game starts off by having you identify your relationship to 3 people, obviously in a family setting. Okay, so I tried something like Mia = girlfriend and the other 2 as "friends". A few minutes into the game, it was obvious that wouldn't work. So, I restarted with stepsister, mom and dad. Sister would work just as well. The rest of the game is pretty much about how you trick your (step)sister and mom to get into their pants, with several other sexual themes thrown in. The story line is basically stringing together many sexual schemes. The renderings for the 3 female characters are certainly sexy, as are the various sex scenes. I know music and voice acting is important to some, but I have a hearing disability, so the first thing I do is mute the music and usually mute my speakers as well. I enjoyed the game without any sound, and you can, too. The game could benefit from a good proof reader. There is a very slight bit of g-g action, but other than that, it is pretty much "normal" sexual activities. "Normal" since it doesn't matter to me if the sexual object is my mom, sister, stepsister, teacher, stripper, or a regular girlfriend. In these types of VNs, sex is sex. If you are looking for a well-developed plot and complex characters, look elsewhere. This installment of the game does end without leaving you hanging. The end is predictable and does leave open the possibility of a Season 2, but it also ends neatly enough that you can consider it complete. "Novel" is stretching it a bit. Visual Porn would be more like it. If that is what you are seeking, I highly recommend Summer with Mia.

  There's a mechanism in this game where the player decides what the nature of the relationship is between the main characters. I didn't know what to make of it at first so I just made us all "friends." It became almost immediately apparent that we were not in fact friends. We were family. There is no other reasonable explanation for the relationship between these people. Mia is your sister and the other two people you are given the choice for are your parents. If anyone has an alternate explanation I'd love to hear it. Flash forward to multiple people commenting with logical non incestuous explanations and I'm left looking like a depraved sexual degenerate. Again.
