  Apparently this review received quite a bit of attention so I'll try to make it as objective as possible: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE FIRST GAME: so far Aftermath only has 2 additional chapters and one different special zombie. Consider waiting for a sale, and you can play those chapters if a party leader has Aftermath. Bought it on a sale, practiced offline for a few days and realized that local servers were not a thing. (At the time Australia, Latin America and Southeast Asia had no servers) So I'm stuck on 200-230 ping whenever I go online for multiplayer. There's an option to turn Crossplay off and host a game on your local network, meaning you rely on your steam friends to buy it on PC. My 100+ hours are mostly in Offline Mode playing with useless bots, multiplayer won't be a thing for me until there's servers nearby. (Australia got servers in an October update, so it's possible)

  This game has achieved what i seek the most in co-op Zombie games: •Total adrenaline situations; •Outstanding Apocalypse Atmosphere; •An immersive movie-like experience; •Satisfying Thirdperson commands n gameplay; •Stealth moments using silenced guns; •Different kinds of missions, none of them boring; •Easy to find a lobby, the alternate way is to launch and there will always be players joining in +/- 4minutes; •Awesome graphics and well optimized game. +Plus+ •Way better than Back 4 Blood; •CROSS PLATFORM between Playstation, XBOX, Origin, and Steam; •When Left 4 Dead 2 online servers go down, this will be the reborn of its community; •Can be played as 3rd person or 1st person; •It's a blast playing it with friends. Cons: •Bots are kinda dumb when you are down, they walk slowly towards u to get u up, but still better than Back 4 Blood's bots tho, coz i haven't seen none of them commiting suicide just yet (lol); •Few amount of character customization; •Matchmaking should maybe get the option to see all lobbies available and games in progress.

  As I do normally, I started off checking the options. When I saw the "User Data and Privacy Collection - ON" I switched that OFF immediately. What did I get in response? If I turn off their ability to collect User Data, I am no longer allowed to play online. So I'm stuck playing the game with their handicapped AI companions. Freaking wonderful. So if you want to be able to play the game as it was intended, you are forced to allow them to collect user data. I'm sorry, but this is absolute BS. I am purchasing a game from you, I'm not getting married to you. Stop demanding I give you my data in order to use the products I purchased. It is to a point that these companies need to allow us to collect their data if they can collect ours. Maybe then they will keep to themselves and we can have a nice and orderly transaction.

  This game is basically a modern-take on Left 4 Dead, and it does it decently well. If you want the Left 4 Dead formula, but with a modern twist - get this game. Highly recommend playing with friends as the AI isn't very smart, but it's decent enough for casual play.

  Don't play this alone, or else you'll actually go bald from frustration. If you have friends to play, yeah it's a fun game. Without it, you'll have to play babysit with 3 mentally deficient drones, which isn't fun in the slightest. Why's that a bad recommendation? I know you're like me, who probably don't have friends to play it. Play Left 4 Dead instead if you want to play with actual competent AI teammate. I'm surprised that AI teammate technology regressed hard as years go on... If you have friends, feel free to play it.

  I bought WWZ for the PS4 when it initially released in 2019. I bought WWZ for PC when it released on Steam last year. I bought WWZ for my brother also so we could play together. I hope that I was able to let you know that I think WWZ is worth checking out, if you’re a fan of L4D. TLDR: Better than Back 4 Blood
