You travel through various areas, defeating monsters in real-time combat. After defeating a monster, you can befriend it, which gives you a stat boost. Additionally, the monster relocates to your starting village, where you can interact with as you please. Defeating several monsters of the same type unlocks new skills for you to use during combat. The game is moderately challenging; winning in combat requires a bit of agility as well as selecting and using the right skills. This starts out easy, but becomes more complex later on in the game. There’s no way to lose, however: after a defeat, you get the option to try the same combat again or move to your starting village. The latter gives you a small stat boost and launches a new day. Controls: keyboard only [b]STORY[/b] You play as a male human kid (name of your own choosing) living in a world where the only other inhabitants are monster girls. You’re raised by a succubus called Irys, who considers herself your older sister. At the start of the game, you’re attacked by a monster girl living in the wild around your village. Irys then decides that you need to learn to defend yourself. She teaches you how to defeat monster girls (either by strength or charm) and then befriend them (by having sex). The story is bare-boned and fully linear; there are no side quests or meaningful choices to make. Dialogues are simple and often funny; without the adult content, it could have been a children’s story. [b]QUALITY[/b] Succubus Affection is remarkably engaging for an adult game, with well-balanced gameplay that scales appropriately as the game progresses. The pixel art is also pretty good; it’s impressive what the visual artist is able to do, given the obvious limitations of this art style. Most other aspects of the game, including sound and interface, worked OK. I had only two minor peeves though: the contra-intuitive default keybindings (which you can change, fortunately) and travel between various sections of the map. The latter is done by portals, which may either lead to an adjacent area in the 2D landscape you’re playing in, or an area in front or behind your current area. For example, if you’re walking past a house, it’s sometimes possible to enter it. The thing is that (a) said portal types look exactly the same and (b) their placement on the map does not clearly indicate where they lead to. This makes travel between areas a confusing affair, especially since there’s no overland map to show the bigger picture. [h1]THE GOODS[/h1] [b]SUBJECT[/b] The lewd in Succubus Affection is all about the MC hooking up with the various monster girls he encounters. These encounters are all consensual-ish, mostly because his presence somehow acts as an instantaneous aphrodisiac to the monster girls. The scenes themselves are pretty vanilla (at least, if you overlook the fact that the MC technically still is a minor). Keywords: [spoiler] big breasts, group, fluids, forced, monster, public, solo, straight[/spoiler] [b]CONTENT[/b] 25 different kinds of monster girls to have sex with, most of which have two different, unique animated scenes (in pixel art). In addition, the 5 bosses in the game also have a unique CG-based scene. [b]ACCESS[/b] Accessing sex scenes with regular monster girls is easy enough: if you defeat them in battle and befriend them, you can have sex with them whenever you please. And if you don’t defeat them, they’ll jump on you after you lose and have sex with you regardless. In addition, there are five NPC monster girls living in your village that require a different approach (mostly, having sex in front of them for several days in a row). Finally, accessing the CG’s of the boss fights requires you to lose to the appropriate boss and admit defeat afterwards. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to rewatch these scenes, other than going out and fighting the boss again. [b]QUALITY[/b] As said before, the pixelart animations work remarkably well. Even despite their obvious limitations and small size, you can clearly tell what’s going on, up to the point of facial expressions and individual body parts. The CG-based scenes also look pretty good. [h1]VERRO’S VERDICT[/h1] If you’re into real-time action games and like ‘m sexy, Succubus Affection is a must have. I haven’t encountered any other adult game in this genre yet that are actually fun and engaging to play throughout. At the same time, the game is still accessible and enjoyable for people without nimble fingers (like myself). To developer Succubus Diary: well done! To the rest of you: well recommended.

Here's a Steam guide on how to do it: [url=steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2265283307] Steam Guide [/url] [h1] Who's the Developer [/h1] The developer of this game, zell23, introduced me to the entire genre of "lewd games" all the way back in 2014 with their "Forest of the Blue Skin" project via quite the innocent Google search "sex games". The game is still an ongoing project and you could follow it (and download it for free) from Zell's official blog. What's unique about them is their pixelart animations that they do are pretty much one of the best at the current moment for lewd games. [h1] Game Summary [/h1] Succubus Affliction came out of nowhere whenever it first released and it delivered so much that it is still one of the staple games for this particular genre of lewd games (pixelart sidescroller, fighter, with a defeat mechanic). It provides the player with a big variety of choices for a playstyle and at the same time, keeps its main mechanic, which is defeating Monster Girls through sexual intercourse. The dialogue and characters are well-written and the story is very straight-forward. Whenever you jump in the game, you don't feel overwhelmed in the slightest. [h1] Sexual animations [/h1] The sexual animations, despite being pixelart, are extremely impressive, possessing a lot of detail that excites you even if you aren't that much into pixelart animations. You can access the animations at any time of your playthrough, as you are able to "tame" every monster girl you have sex with, and call her out as your companion throughout the journey. The answer to the big question about whether you can invest in a "sex-only" build is "yes". You can avoid dealing damage and focus on charming the girls through aphrodisiacs and seduction. [h1] TL; DR [/h1] If you enjoy fighters that are sidescrollers with a trading system, which are also packed with multiple sexual animations, good music, straight-forward gameplay, relationship building, deviancy, freedom of playstyle and great character design, then this game is certainly worth your time (around 8 hours of playtime total).

  You don't need a girlfriend if you own this game w/ Kagura Patch. 10/10. Excellent Sound. Excellent Animation. Excellent Story. Perfect game best game 2022 10/10.

  This is one of those games brought more to life when downloading the 18+ Patch. Without it, the game just isn't as fun. It's very very VERY fun, addicting once you do download the 18+ Patch. Which is free. I will say once you've completed the game in it's entirety, it is confusing on if you've gathered all the Monster Girls or not. As it doesn't appear there is an indicator telling you just how many of them are out there. I have found myself going through all the maps looking for more, since they are scattered everywhere, haven't found anymore so I believe I found all of them. However, It does FEEL like I didn't. Hahaha. I wish I had more of an indicator telling me I did or not. Like: "Slimes Tamed: 17/18", just a wild example, or something like that. That way I'd know if I got them all or not. Overall the game is VERY fun and if you came here for the same reason I did, and let's be real you did, get the patch and enjoy because you'll find SEVERAL moments of enjoyment from it. The game DOES have challenge to it, not much, but there is a challenge to the game. Without hacks or cheating, I'd imagine the entire game would take a first time player: 7-13hrs to complete. The rest of the time is spent just... well... "having fun"... with the Monster Girls in question. Even post game you can have fun with all these girls you've tamed, even bring them to your location if you got the skill. Without having to go to their location. Essentially opening a gallery for you to enjoy anytime you want, and each of these are top tier. If you liked it as much as I did, you may find yourself occasionally opening the game, weeks/months after beating it, just to enjoy the post-game and go around "having fun" with the Monster Girls, til you've found.... "release".... My only wish, outside of the indicator mentioned above, is... I wish there were more. A sequel to this game would be amazing, and I'd buy it up in a heart beat. OR DLC, but that's wishful thinking since it's been so long since this game has released. Heck, something to add more Monster Girls, it all would be nice. Loved the game, overall.

  Don't play this game. Got your attention? Good! What I mean is, play this game AFTER you play Forest of Blue Skin- both this and that are made by Zell23. Both are uniquely similar and different in their own ways- in the A version of FoBS, you can capture most of the monster girls and get them in the gallery. There's no follower mechanic, no abilities are upgradeable, and there are only a few abilities. Though, you need to do unique things to befriend each species of monster girl, kind of like a puzzle. In the A version, it's the same, except every monster girl encountered is capturable for the gallery. However, in Succubus Affection, you only need to knock them down, fuck, and that's that. There also isn't much of a difference between charming and knocking, they both do the same thing. Now, in FoBS, there isn't a story- which is fine, honestly. You run around, discover monster girls, and find secret "emblems" which unlock an extra H-Scene for the gallery monster girls you unlocked already. Super fun, I think. That, however, is not in this game- the only "gallery" you see is all the girls you made friends with, and every girl in SA has at least 2 scenes, unlike FoBS. Anyways, I only really recommend you play FoBS first(it's free) because after you're done 100%ing the game, you can come here and see what assets were used- the cum meter, the abilities(though expanded)- and there's even a little reference(I think?) in the castle garden- the top of the fountain is a golden version of the pedestals used for emblems in the game, which I think is neat. (PS - Some of the music is similar too!) Now, I love Succubus Affection- I'm almost done with it now, I've loved the story, the characters, the monsters- but there's just a few problems I have. I am playing on the hardest possible difficulty with 5 slots enabled, and it's still easy. Resisting being downed and H-scene'd by monster girls doesn't increase in difficulty with the difficulty, so you can basically escape instantly. There's no point to getting charmed. You've got a charm meter, and once that fills up, you get stunned and have to break free- which sounds cool, except it's insanely easy to just break out, and all that charming the enemy monster did was basically for naught. Additionally, from the many monsters that DO charm, they all charm in basically the same way- shooting hearts. Would have been nice if the Manticore actually stung you and made it a challenge to escape from her aphrodisiac/penis growing venom, but instead she shoots hearts every where and you can escape like her grip was butter. :/ One last gripe: in a few places they use 3D models for terrain, like HD water, which I found really strange. Otherwise, lovely game! You can get uber powerful with the right loadout, and if you eat your meals every day. It isn't as open world as the original game, but I suppose that goes along with having a story. Worth every penny, I hope to see more from Zell23! Especially if there's a sequel.

  I have a soft spot for lewd 2D action platformers - Eroico, The Lab, Setaria. There's just something charming about these janky, low-budget metroidvanias that resemble mid 2000s Flash games more than commercial products. Succubus Affection is definitely a title worth your attention, especially if you share this sentiment, as charm is something it has in droves. The basics are simple. Each enemy you defeat is permanently befriended, and gives you stat upgrades and new abilities. You can slot up to 12 of those, and there's plenty of variety to be found, from sword moves and projectiles to summons and movement skills. The only complaint is there's little nuance to enemy placement and level design, making every encounter feel more or less the same. The bosses are definitely highlights. The character are fun, and the wholesome atmosphere gets to you. Characters you defeat can be seen hanging around the village later on, the dialogue is nice and cheery, and the whole thing has this cosy vibe to it. In simple terms, the game is fun and comfy. Absolutely worth it on a sale, I would even recommend full price if you're into these kinds of games already. Just remember to grab the free patch on Kagura Games' website.
