  It's an arcade mini-Tarkov in space! Pros: + very well polished even for an early access title + unsure why some reviews bash the "bugs and glitches". I played 2.5 hours, not a glitch in sight, netcode was good and didn't have any problem whatsoever +fun! Cons: - Audio could get an improvement. Steps can be heard miles away and ruins a bit the stealthyness. Maybe that's on purpose? - The whole ship minigame to enter/exit/board other ships is at the moment, not very developed. It's pretty basic and honestly it needs more work. Pros/Cons dependings on where you stand ? Weird setting with WW2 weapons in space. Somehow humans developed space travel but we're still shooting 9mm? ? It's more arcade than tarkov. No need to check your mags or customize your weapon, it's super straightforward. Youc an even shoot a bullet, reload, and you get again 30/30. Unlimited mags. This removes a bit the "tactics" in gunplay I think but it's still fun, if you like arcade shooters ? Quests seems a lot more simple than EFT with less development. Here's it's just "here's your task, do that", at least in EFT they tried giving it some kind of coherent storytelling. That said, it's in early access and it's already a good game. A middle ground between Cycle:frontiers and EFT. If you liked the concept of EFT but didn't like its complexity, you may like this game.

  I've tried to get into Escape from Tarkov a few times with my friends, but I never really jived with it. My doctor diagnosed me with "Skill Issue" and prescribed me Marauders, which I've been enjoying way more.

  Firstly, this game has PVP which you can't really escape from. So if you think it looks cool to play solo or with friends for a cosy PVE experience then it's a no. The game is similar to Tarkov ,but for me, I prefer this. Tarkov has too much gun customisation in it for me. I'm not a gun geek and don't want to learn what attachment is needed to add whatever attachment to it. In this, you have a gun with the ammo type it requires. Easy! I do like the breach feature in game. Before entering a raid you pilot your ship, better ships are available through levelling and crafting. Other people are also flying to the raid in their ships meaning space combat can happen. If you or the enemy ship is disabled through combat, you have the option to use an escape pod and leave. You can also fly towards the other ship in your pod and breach that ship. Allowing for a gun fight, to steal their loot and their ship. A very interesting concept. Anyway, gameplay is rather fun and can get a little intense at times. Some of the hit reg seems a bit WTF at times, but it's early days. As long as they keep it simple I will continue to play this game. One of the best Early Access games I've bought this year.

  W game. I tried to get into Tarkov but im diagnosed with "Skill Issue" so this is a great substitute. Its hard, but not as hard as Tarkov, faster paced and overall fun to play alone and especially with friends. Definitely recommend playing this game if you have any thoughts on buying.

  There's an exploit for cheaters to join and advertise cheats to private lobbies. Please have the dev team check how a random cheater can join a locked and passworded game. Top few players are advertising cheats, no way to report such player. Hoping we can get a way to report exploiters before the game gets overrunned by cheaters from china. The game is a breath of fresh air, definitely recommend the game as long as the cheating issue is somewhat resolved.

  If you're shit at the game, heres how to put bread on the table. Step 1: Learn locations of fire extinguishers in your ship. Step 2: Practice relentlessly. Run gauntlets in your own ship and try to get them as fast as you can. Step 3: Put your training to use. Breach into an enemy ship and shove as many extinguishers up your ass as your body allows you to. Use your superior movement. Before they realize what's happening you'll back in your ship again. They won't know what hit them. A masterful heist. Step 4: Extract with all the delicious fire extinguishers so that you may buy this weeks can of food from the traders. Everyones got to make a living.
