  It doesnt take itself serious enough and I always felt very limited in my choices. Its basically just a trump simulator. I was hoping for more "civilization" and grand strategy in this game and less "Make America Great Again" and "haha funny". And the thing is it looks like this game is trying to do just that. It looks like it gives you a lot of important choices and strategic elements to play around with. But in the end its basically just reading jokes and choosing between Joke A and Joke B as answer.

  Choices don't really correlate with the impact and it's very difficult to understand why they have the implications they are associated with. Quite a lot of it is just digging at modern american politics rather than trying to be a true political sim. Might be for you if you're looking for a more surface level humorous sim but I found it confusing and lacking substance.

  Not disappointed and replayability looks very promising! Graphics are very good, better than expected, had cut scene to open the game. Smooth as butter at 1440p/75hz on 1st gen Ryzen 7 1700 with 6700XT video card. game install is 2.5Gb download, used 8.5Gb on drive. This game is crisp and had a lot of effort into it, not a throwaway mediocre game! Not a serious sim, plenty of splashes of humor in limited choices when speaking with subordinates and even with some more important choices such as in game emails. Spoiler free review!

  Satirical game, a lot of meme references. The game itself doesn't take itself serious at all, reference to Trump's confefe and Biden's "afdjahfmajfa" already deserves a like

  The game balances being funny and serious very well, and the mechanics are simple to understand, not to mention the UI being very good. There are some problems though, for example there are still a lot of bugs. Sometimes the advisors won't leave and I'll have to load a save, or the game will say I have to respond to a global event but one doesn't appear. Outside of those bugs though it's a good game, but a very difficult one, expect to fail multiple times, it's easy to mess up the fine balancing act and find yourself in a constant deficit of one or multiple stats.

  I played 3 hours, here's what's up: Preamble: Overall, the game has a bright future, but I don't see myself spending too much time with it. Graphics: -It gets the job done. Gameplay: - It's a click-based game so be ready to be clicking through everything. - Your presidency is judged between six categories that all start at 300, the goal is to prevent them from reaching zero through the decisions you make (domestic and international). -However, while the decisions are fun and quite humourous at times(Think like more toned down bitlife-esque humor), the values each affect to make this game more work than fun. The choices you make and what they affect don't seem to correlate that well and it happens too quickly. You are barely making out the tutorial before you are struggling with one category or the other. Yes, you do get a lifeline(it's only five points), but it doesn't really help. I don't think I'll pick this game up again until some of the value systems are changed as it makes it hard to enjoy what has been written and worked on because the game is over so soon. - Overall, the gameplay loop suffers. I don't want to replay the tutorial every single playthrough especially if my game is going to be over so soon or there needs to be a variation of modes(hard, medium, easy) that correlate with points reduced/increased between each category otherwise It's just not worth the time or effort. - The international map is also quite confusing. If I'm allied with a country(level 4), why do I need to have an open relationship(level 3). I should just be able to make trade agreements without investigating. - With some of the prompts, there needs to be more detail as to what category is decreasing/increasing. As simple as a red/green bar when you hover over the prompts rather than a single white bar. Bugs: -Day one, I did experience quite a few bugs with the international map. Events for the international map kept popping up but I couldn't see them. The prompts wouldn't allow me to click through and would follow me off the international map page. Overall: Enjoyable but not recommended at this price/ right now. Don't get me wrong it's fun, but there's some work that needs to be done before I can recommend it.

  I'm probably going to ask for a refund... I thought it would have more choices for policies... it basically makes you fulfill The Donald's plan or Joe's plan... You don't really get much choices to really make your own thing.
