  Do not let the "Hentai Simulator" part of the title discourage you from buying the game, the game is surprisingly wholesome and is sprinkled with heartwarming moments throughout; the only gripe I had with the game is how quickly the female open her legs (I think it's 2-3 days into the story?), now I have never touched a girl in my life but I refuse to believe that getting coochie is that easy.

  She's cute, but it's soul-crushing this is the closest I've ever been to a relationship Postives + Vibrant design + Many customisation options + Cute waifu + Comfortable slice-of-life elements + Cute story moments + Easy access to adult scenes + Cheap Negatives - Grindy game-play, very repetitive - The fact the main character didn't immediately call an ambulance or the police makes him look like a dangerous weirdo - Not very engaging after a while - Not much to do except collecting furniture between scenes Get if you want a calm slice-of-life dating sim. I have crippling depression

[i]Sounds like a recipe for STDs.[/i] [h1]Gameplay[/h1] A dating simulator with visual novel elements. The game is seperated into days, and each day you may enjoy a handful of activities to advance the "mood" and "relationship" counters for your waifu. These range from chatting to watching movies, or even playing games or straight up [i]bangin'.[/i] She [i]really[/i] likes that. I suggest "footjob", it requires the least effort for the gains. Speaking of bangin, there's a handful of sexual minigames to partake in. They are quite basic, but actually pretty [i]hot.[/i] Most of your weeks will be spent working and balancing rest to increase work output, to gain funds to upgrade your house and gal. The worst part of the game would be the "texting" portions, where are slow and tedious. You just mash keys and wait for timers. [h1]Story[/h1] The game doesn't start until you input a name. I opted for [b]Womarro.[/b] Womarro is microwavin' dinner — that is, until a woman with a torn-up outfit shows up on his door step. She's scared and forgetful. So forgetful, she doesn't even have a name. You're prompted to name her. We'll call her. . . Bata. Like [i]wom. . . bata.[/i] Eh? After expressing content for her new name, you're given a selection of responses. I decided to let her shower, because I can't be havin' no filthy women in Womarro's home. Bata and Womarro share dinner, and decided to cough up Womarro's bed so that she may sleep comfortably. The next morning, the game truely enters your reigns. With that in mind, I can't really discuss more about the story, seeing how everyone's choice of activities will differ. What you can expect, however is a whole lot of [i]work,[/i] shopping and lewd times with your new girlfriend. Huh, I kind of like that. [h1]Visuals[/h1] I liked the titlescreen, though I would liked to have some motion. Perhaps a panning banner, or a scrolling background. From "Settings", you may adjust audio, dialogue, and graphical preferences. One minute through the game and I already spotted a typo. [i]Oh boy.[/i] [h1]Verdict[/h1] I definately recommend this game. It's a little rough around the edges, but it's also in an early stage of development. I'll tell you what, if this game sees some solid updates, it'll be [i]bomb[/i] title. I suggest grabbing it while it's on sale. The lewd content is pretty hot, and the gameplay is simple, but (generally) not too boring. It's fun unlocking new things.   (This review has been written with ~275 in-game days. I have not beaten the game yet, but I have seen enough to write my overall thoughts on it) Do I recommend this game? Ehhhhhhhhhh. "Her New Memory" is one of those games whose gameplay revolves around living your day-to-day life with your girlfriend while being strung along by events which may or may not happen. The plus side of this is that the game can be played the same way other grind-incentive games function, such as watching a video on your second monitor, or listening to music. This level of grindiness only comes into play after you yourself have read every variation of dialogue related to the slice of life bits of the game. The main reason you play, however, is that the game leads you along with events which you have no knowledge on their triggers, and it breaks the monotony as they are quite literally new slices of the pie that you would have to properly read to appreciate. I myself enjoyed all these scenarios, as they set the mood that you and the girl really are in love. The game really is something of a nice little gem, and if the prospect of grinding with the reason that it's all for your fictitious girlfriend sound appealing to you (I certainly like it myself), then I fully recommend this game to you. However, this is when I'd like to talk about my subjective cons. Obviously, if you adopt the perspective that you're mindlessly clicking away the days while praying for *something* to happen, the game suddenly sounds terrible. There are some minute things, such as the game's limitation on customisation causes a lack of flexibility: There are no hairstyles for the girl which go past her shoulders. This is because it is understandably both expensive and a pain in the ass to draw competent hentai CG with free-flowing hair. The clothing the girl wears is only limited to the "Casual Dresses" the game offers, despite many of the costumes appearing suitable for public decency. One last moderate problem I have is that many of the events don't feel like they have proper closure. You are introduced to many aspects of the girl's life and problems, but many of those subjects are tied with a very loose knot at the end of it all. The small side stories don't end in a satisfying manner, and you wouldn't know "that was the end of it" until you look up the game's events for a guide. But the **largest** con of the game (in my opinion of course) is the writing style. The verbiage and wording used in many of the events' emotional scenes is incredibly amateurish, while also opting for sentences that may as well come straight from a 2008 Asian Soap Opera. The internal monologue and thoughts of your own character are needlessly hyperbole, and many of the ideas presented by him sound like they come from an edgy Redditor spewing his red pill woke doomer views on life. Whether intentional or not, this writing style does make it seem more "realistic", since people in real life do speak out of emotion with ad hominem and not by using a script that dances around the nuances of literature. To recap, I still recommend the game in spite of all mentioned if you like eroges with an aspect of grind to it. The game is great because there's something about it that feels like a hidden gem, that it's made with love, and you can feel that the developers cared to make something in this style and genre, but it can feel terrible because of the amateurish word choice and the MC's very modern adoslecent-esque views on life. sorry to anyone who sat through this wall of text, but I felt this game deserved a non-meme review.
