  This is a spectacular dungeon crawler rpg with nearly endless amounts of weaponry, loot fests, quests, and hours of fun to be had with the added bonus of replay value. All in all, a great deal. After several hours of gameplay I realized I wouldn't be anywhere without Axehammer's Mighty Elven Amulet of Vitality, or Beastdal's Superior Piercing Gemmed Belt of Wealth, and don't even get me started on Khelamroth's Flaming Icy Solid Elite Bone Sabre of Quickness. Man this is an awesome game, am I right?

  I honestly think I would recommend the original FATE over this. In the couple hours I've played, my main conclusion has been that Undiscovered Realms looks worse (the textures in the two towns look almost unfinished compared to FATE), and the procedural level design is worse--instead of things linking back together, I'm getting tons and tons of extremely long dead-end hallways that are an absolute slog to hike down and then all the way back up. I'm just not having as much fun with this as I did with FATE, in the end. The new features look really interesting, I was excited to get a drop of a heroic sword to put on a statue, but the way the levels are generating is just making it kind of suck for me. And every time I go back to town I feel like the textures haven't loaded in.

  I used to play this all the time as a kid back before steam was a thing, it is just as amazing as I remember. Worth every penny. The best fishing sim in existence, super nostalgic.

  I love this game series. But DO NOT BUY THIS. Get Traitor Soul instead. It includes the two additional realms provided in this game, as well as the OG town of Grove, the bottomless dungeon, and the Temple Dungeon, for a total of five dungeons. Not that it matters, because two of them will have the same monsters - only the last one is more difficult by design. This game also lacks many of the QoL improvements that come with Traitor Soul, but also has many game-interfering and game-breaking bugs. * Edit was to add a dungeon I forgot about

  Not as good as the original FATE. Really half-assed. Both towns are lazily designed. Hardcore mode is a miserable grind (by level 3 the enemies are level 30+), so good luck getting all the steam achievements.
