  Still need more work and arms and armour have a bad habit of disappearing one minute you have armour on the next yer wearing casual clothes. Needs more attention to detail but good story hope is will be fin soon

  The game is a lot of fun, but not getting finished. Which is a bummer. The timeline for completion keeps getting pushed back, which would be fine if they weren't working on other games while this one only has a skeleton crew of two working on it. I enjoyed it, I like the knight route, and I think the diplomat route is the best. I seem to always end up with Erik, and Maja whose romance is sweet and fun. I would be happier with more communication about the competition date.

  When you waiting that much, all hype and interest in this game is fading. I expected the delays, but that's just too much. Maybe its not a good idea to grab several projects when you have unfinished game that you already sell. Don't know if it atone everything when latter chapters will be released.

  I really tried to be positive about the game, but I can't. Originally game was sold as being updated bi-monthly, but about over year ago devs decided, that they don't want to do that anymore and game will be updated all at once in 'couple of months'. Since then, there was no update and we were only given vague excuses, that they works sooooo hard (usually on stuff, that is unimportant like redoing art for way overdue game). So yeah, for now game is one, big scam and I would ask for refund if it wasn't too late. Game also promised at least 12 CGs per chapter and for now only prologue delivered that. Also chapters are getting shorter and shorter with each update. Even without all this plot is medicore at best, being uneven mess where some characters gets way more screen time (and more interesting scenes) than others. So yeah, please value your money and take it somewhere else.

  Let me be straight with whoever reads this: I like the game. I love the story and the characters. BUT! It's been in development for years, and there's no credible evidence from the studio that it's ever going to do be finished. This game is incomplete and likely to remain so based on the vague and infrequent communication from the studio. If you get invested in stories and characters (if you don't, why play games like this one at all?), avoid this at all cost. Getting half a story for full price is not what I call value for money. Avoid.

  So I was waiting for the entire game to drop before reviewing it (it didn't make sense to me to review an EA game), but at this point, I am sceptical that this game will be released when the developers have recently promised (again). I thoroughly enjoyed their previous game, When the Night Comes, and supported this because it was recommended and seemed an excellent visual novel, and it is. But as early access dragged on and on and more promises were broken, I was left frustrated. Yes, I understand that they are a small team with many ideas, but maybe they do not have three projects running at once if you cannot even keep your promises on a half-finished game that people have already purchased. To be honest, my experience with Errant Kingdom has completely ruined what good faith WTNC instilled within me. I cannot in good conscience recommend this game until they have uploaded the entire game in its full complete state. I will not support any future projects from these developers unless I see a change in them. It is outstanding that the developers waited until the day before the promised update to inform us that the update would be delayed again. ----- As for the game itself. It is a good game. The characters are fun and memorable, with each path offering just enough of a difference to have you explore each route and see the main story through a slightly different perspective. I would have liked more depth to the race you picked (human / halfling) as I feel characters would react to treat a halfling differently than the human. The art style also has inconsistencies that do not wholly detract from the game but can be a little jarring, especially within the visual novel format. I cannot say much more than that because the game has still not been fully released.

  I bought this novel a long time ago (well, in January 2021, and now it will soon be 2023..), wanting to support the developers, but after the update stopped coming out in the same 2021, there were constant delays in the release of chapters and more and more new empty promises. I really like the developers' novels and ideas, but I'm not going to purchase and support their projects anymore until I see them in their finished form. According to all the feelings and attitude of developers to their community - delay the release once again on the day of the promised release, and without even warning about it in advance. lol It is a pity that the Steam policy does not allow you to make a refund on such "expired" products. But I will definitely not make more such mistakes with Lunaris Games.

  Oh, how Id love to recommend this game. The art and the characters all look so promising. But dear god, this early access is beginning to look like the most final version we will ever get. Promises were made this game would release on the 20th of December 2022. I was exited. Then, the evening before the release:"Oh! Its not coming! Change of plan! Wait two more months!" Dont overwork yourself for a game release, but dont push out new kickstarters without having finished your 2 year early access game. Dont buy this game while its still early access. If we do ever get the full release I will update my review accordingly. But as of now, youd be paying for promises that are constantly broken with no real end in sight. Im sad about it, I adore games like this, but I fully expect that we will not get a full release in February either. Wishlist the game, wait for its full release and then enjoy the finished product.

  I spent months checking Itch for updates of this waiting simulator, and, you know, I was willing to let it slide. I was so excited to finally play it this December and be done with it. But no. The game currently consists of a prologue and one chapter, which is less than we had previously. And now we have to wait 2 months to see IF the game will finally be out after years of waiting. And that's with devs not telling anything about the current state of the game. Is the writing even done? And if it is and the only thing left is beta testing, why didn't Lunaris try to find outside beta testers? They have Kickstarter backers, Patrons, people, who bought the game on Steam and Itch. Sooo many potential beta testers, and they won't even think about using their help. At this point, I feel like the devs want their fans to hate them.

  Going to be real here, there's not much else I can say that others haven't already voiced, but I'll throw in my two cents none the less. I feel like I've been very, very patient on this game. Every single time there was a developer update about delays, I said cool, it's a small indie team, it's understandable, and they want their game to be perfect. When they switched from chapter releases to a full release at once, it was disappointing but still, I was willing to wait. Then we got a release date — months in the future, but a date! More waiting, but again, I was resigned to it, giving the team the benefit of the doubt. But now we're at the date, and passed, and suddenly it's back to chapter releases? We can't even return to replay chapters that were previously released, because they've yanked them back behind the curtains again. I wish very well for this indie team but they keep selling false promises to try and tide over their fans that have been eagerly waiting for this finished game, only to yank them back again and again and again when they can't reach their own goals they've put forth. I'm reaching my limit of my patience, as someone that was a kickstarter backer from the very beginning. If all goes according to plan I might come back around to play the full thing in February — if I remember to check on it again and haven't completely just wiped it from my mind — but I won't be touching it again until then. Because at this point, I'm not wholly convinced that a full release will ever happen. If I do return to play, this review might be updated.
