  Regular game is acceptable. I positively reviewed the original Dead Effect. This one's a grindfest. The DLC though? Absolute fucking trash. Bullet spongy enemies (via a shield which the game has you craft some sort of weapon that's supposed to help and doesn't do a godamn thing,) for no reason, and a final boss fight that's as stupid and cheap as can possibly be.

  i already recommend this game but about DLC i have to say really needed for completing the story line somehow this should be dead effect 3 but they sold it as dlc

  *) Needed just to finish the story, as the main game just ends in the middle of it*) More expensive than the main game*) Added content is less than main game*) Adds an annoying mechanic with the shielded enemies*) Enemies more focused on ranged attacks*) Difficulty spike compared to main game, which made many weapons useless for meIf this were about the price of the main game, I MAY (!) give it a recommendation. But really just cause it continues the main games story. This should come paired with the main game instead of being a separate DLC really.

  It is a worthy Expansion/DLC to the base game. It bring +50% of the base story. New enemies with higher difficulty and different gameplay to deal with. Some new game modes. With the realease of this DLC the base game also got a Big Free Update what include alot of changes and new stuffs, many what the community has asked for. Also there is an another paid DLC with a new playable character focused on magic. If you liked the base game then I highly recommend to buy this! Support this Developer

  10/10 The DLC adds another chapter and finishes up the story. I can't wait to play the next game and see where this story goes.

  I can't be positive about this DLC. I am at level 15 and the DLC is at level 18 which makes progress annoying and frustrating especially due to slow reloading and underpowered guns. When you are finally leveled up and have a good weapon the combat is annoying with confined areas, bullet sponge enemies and zombies with shields. The limitation to hold only one primary weapon is strange for a shooter. I liked Dead Effect and Dead Effect 2. This DLC is clearly not my thing.

  [h1]Dead Effect 2 - Escape from Meridian[/h1] [i]Wait for a deep sale ( 80/90 % off ) - not worth it : had to restart missions because of stuck enemies in objects/environment , annoying shielded enemies , not optimised ( full of slow downs and freezes ) - avoid unless it's very cheap !
