  🌶️Spicy gameplay🌶️ 100 levels with a good balance of challenge. I'd say it is enjoyable for all skill levels. Survival mode is also good fun. Some levels I downloaded in the mapmaker do not work currently. can't wait for the next update!👍

  [b]TL;DR : Game seems promising. I advise you to wait a bit and play Wii Play on Dolphin instead though, it's worth 5€ but not on its current state. [/b] [b]Pros[/b]: + It's "Wii Play Tanks" on PC ! (You can also get the real one on PC though) + Nice, fancy graphics + Map Editor (we don't have this on Wii Play) + New mode, the survival mode (same as above)) + 4 players that can use keyboard/mouse and gamepads (Wii Play has 2 max with Wiimotes only) [b]Negatives[/b]: - Very [b]laggy[/b] on low-spec machines, even though Wii Play on Dolphin runs fine (2020 Athlon Silver w/ integrated graphics) - Game is [b]too ressources-consumming[/b] for what it is. I can't reach 144fps@1440p with i7 10700f and 1060 6ggb! A game like this should run in 4k on a 1050ti and i3 without lagging at all. I bet it's Unity's fault. - [b]Cheap UI[/b] for control settings. Feels like some sub-par mobile game. - [b]Unsatisfactory menu controls[/b] (can't select with arrows, can't go back with escape: that's bad) - Some kind of cursor[b] input lag[/b], maybe about 50 or 100ms with a wired mouse. - Several [b]game-breaking bugs[/b] : * Extremely slow shells (fixed by reinstalling the game) * When starting a new campaign, I once immediatly got to level 100.. what ?! [b]Conclusion[/b]: This game is a nice spiritual successor (if not an unofficial sequel entirely) of Wii Play's Tank minigame. The gameplay is great just like the original, and the added features are appreciated. However it's optimized like shit because of Unity and will [u]NOT[/u] run smoothly even on the lowest settings on a low-specs PC, whereas Wii Play on the Dolphin Emulator can play at native 480p resolution, 60fps, without drops. The Unity engine also gives it this cheap, bland feeling that every Unity-made game has. If you have a beefy PC, 5 bucks to spend and don't want to go through the "hassle" of litteraly clicking on three buttons to install Dolphin and get a Wii Play .ISO, then go grab this game! Otherwise, wait for it to get out of early access once it'll become more playable. Disclaimer: in case you're wondering, I own a Wii as well as a copy of Wii Play that I dumped myself, so that's not piracy! :D

  From the original Wii Tanks from Wii Play to now Wee Tanks! this game is honestly amazing. There's nothing more fun that controlling a toy tank and fighting other tanks. From adding the original tanks from Wii Tanks and even adding newer ones this game is special. I am looking forward to the online multiplayer especially if that includes doing campaigns and survival mode. This game brings back my childhood of Wii Tanks but even makes a better version of that. I can't wait to see what this game looks like in a couple years when new tanks are added and new ideas pop up. Keep up the good work.

  I remember playing this game on the Wii when I was a little kid, and I would wait until my annual vacation to Oklahoma where my aunt owned a Wii just so I could play this game. The moment I saw this was coming out on steam I favorited the game waiting for it to come out. I bought it the literal second I saw it was out and started playing. I have no regrets. It is an amazing version of the game I absolutely love. Yes it did just come out and is a little buggy but I know the developer will fix these issues and the game will be even better. I highly recommend this game to everyone.

  On sale for $5.39, it's fun. I wrote up a real review but Steam deleted it... Of course it did, I'll write one later, but for now I summarize: The game is a ton of fun, I suggest playing on Grandpa mode (the hardest difficulty) unless you're playing with someone who's young, of course. Gameplay is fun, survival mode is pretty fun, but currently most users are facing a progression bug, either completely locking them from saving the game or having the game 100% completed upon launch. Not being able to save means you cannot unlock more survival levels other than the first, and you MUST restart the story if you lose all 3 lives. This means that, at the moment, most of the content is effectively locked since it's unlocked via progression. Once this is fixed, it'll be fantastic. At $8 you kind of get a bang for your buck from survival mode, I've paid a lot more for a lot less, it's a good deal overall. Runs very poorly though, and it's pretty obvious why. No, it's not because it's on Unity, but I'll give you a hint: A recent hotfix says a boss level was adjusted, from having S. E. V. E. N. M. I. L. L. I. O. N. V E R T I C I E S to O N E M I L L I O N. I'm sorry, this isn't a furry model made by an amateur on Fiver, why are your low-detail models taking up THAT. MUCH. SPACE? So I ripped the models, and here's my conclusion: I was curious so I ripped the models manually to see, I got a 65,000kb monster of an image that looks like a mostly flat tank texture, though benefit of the doubt, sometimes ripping gets some weird image files, I'm no expert on the whole process. The rest of the textures were substantially smaller, I didn't get a size but maybe 256x256ish textures for the world. Surprisingly low res, actually. I did find the models are considerably low poly (tank body is 156 verts), so I'm curious as to where 1 million vertices is actually coming from.
