  the fact i can say most levels only have 1 to 3 unique entitys that spawn or are on the map without exaggeration should make clear how repetitive this game is, im not sure if its nostalgia for the old games but they where more creative with the limited assets they had, but this one is just repetitive most levels break down into collect 1 respawning thing while something chases/eats the food your going for, and a 50/50 chance your allowed to eat the thing annoying you some levels are somewhat creative but its just dragged down by all the filler, and the lack of story also drags it down and adds nothing to why the all the creatures have the same propertys as the goo

  As much as I loved the previous games as a kid, upon playing and completing the main story, I couldn't help that most of it felt extremely boring and a slog to play through. Not enough variety in the levels in regards to items, and the gimmick gets old quickly. Also, it's almost impossible to get more than at least one star -- the score goals they give you are incredibly difficult, not to mention every single time you get hit by something that can hurt you, and some of these things being extremely hard to dodge, you lose points. Not to mention the controls are quite floaty, unfortunately. Dissapointing, since I remember liking this series a lot as a kid, and I don't hold any ill well towards the developers, but it just doesn't age very well.

  If you're a fan of the developer's previous games [i]Tasty Planet[/i] and [i]Tasty Blue[/i], this is more of that. If you're not, it's a game where you control a tiny creature and eat things smaller than you to slowly grow bigger, so that you can eat bigger things and grow bigger still; it's like [i]Katamari[/i] but with vore. The game is level-based, and there is no continuity between levels; you can end one by eating a car, and begin the next too small to eat a rat. Most levels have a target size to grow to, but some change it up and have you eating all of a certain type of object, penalizing you for eating anything else. These levels are also odd in that they have you playing hero to the people you've been eating. Each level is timed, and you're graded and awarded up to three stars based primarily on how quickly you finish. Bonus levels are locked until you earn certain numbers of stars. Many of the stars are too difficult for me, so I haven't unlocked any yet. This game has eight playable characters with their own themed sets of levels, with each character introduced by a cute comic strip. To move on to the next, you must complete the current set from beginning to end, not including bonus levels. TL;DR: [i]Katamari[/i], [i]Agar.io[/i], etc. with strict level progression.

  Exactly what it says on the tin. A bigger, more expansive, more varied and more challenging sequel to the other Tasty games. A must buy if you like the games as much as I do.

  This is a really niche game and the series has been something I just really adored. I loved the original Tasty Planet and was thrilled to play the sequel when I found it. However, this game, I just can't recommend. It's got some QoL stuff such as no longer being limited by time, as long as you finish you unlock the next level (however, bonus levels are locked by collected stars which require you to do well anyways). That's about the only advantage it's got over other games. Tasty Planet Forever features multiple characters (they're functionally the same, it's literally just a skin) and for this reason, it feels inferior to the previous games. Each character has an origin story, some comic showing where it came from, and that's all you get. The character eats everything and then you move on to the next character. There's just a lack of continuity and closure. This is the kind of game that wouldn't really need it, however as previous games had some kind of story, the lack of it in Tasty Planet Forever feels lazy. The actual level design itself also feels a bit like a downgrade. The final Grey Goo level had Nebula's, a purple and green one, three growth stages in a row. The exact same icon. Earlier stages featured mountains and craters over and over again across like 2-3 stages. I can't recommend this game purely because I feel that the previous games are superior and that you should purchase those instead.
