  I bought this game at Winter Sales 2013 for 2$, but started playing it just lately. I gotta say that it's well worth the 15$ original price it has! Very entertaining and well designed Arcade game with a lot of potential. Pros: - Level Design - Unlocks - Music - Achievements - Trading Cards - Storyline - Mechanics and general design. Cons: - Non-editable controls I'll give this game a fair 8/10. Recommend for Arcade game fans and those who want to play something simple :)

  had this game for going on a decade now, never gets old. amazing part of my childhood and a fun yet challenging platformer with good replay value (play w keyboard for hard mode:>)

  For those of you who haven't played this yet, be warned. They're not kidding when they said this game was very hard! But aside from the high difficulty of this game, everything else is awesome. The soundtrack, the retro video games, the playable characters from other games, and I especially love the idea of the Dark World which clones all the main levels but made harder! If you are planning to buy this game, I suggest picking up the soundtrack too. What's an indie game without a zany soundtrack? But let me tell you this one other thing: Practice makes perfect. With hours of practice and thousands of meat boys dying, you could negotiate the far reaches of the game and maybe even get the ironman achievements! I recommend this game because of the above-ness.

  Things I learned from Super Meat Boy. It is possible to love the one thing you truly hate. There really is an art of dying. My 360 controller flies further than my ps3 controller. My neighbors can hear me through two brick walls at night. My neighbors think Im a serial killer. I might actually be a serial killer.

  This game is *tight*, the meatiest *airtight* MEAT of a game I ever played. I played this to death years ago and recently returned to it again and it is still so FUN! It has a reputation of being a "rage game", but really the main game's difficulty curve is extremely forgiving for what it is, and it does a great job teaching the player about all the tricks from start to finish. The post-game is where things get ridiculous, but that is optional aaand a good place to keep pushing the skill ceiling which is ludicrously high and it's great. Sure, everything kills you instantly, but the levels are so short and you move so fast that trying again feels natural- and the music only fuels pushing forward even harder. The game is a tough challenge, and unlike a lot of challenging games, it is a FUN one.
