  [h1] The game is not bad but also not so great. [/h1] Overall it's a pretty fun VN. The artists working with ASa Project do really high-quality work. The characters are well designed and the background art is fantastic. My only real complaint is that they push the humor a little too much in situations that are supposed to be serious and any tension or drama from those scenes is completely lost because of it. It feels like it's trying to be a meme game and a somewhat serious SOL at the same time and it just didn't really work. This bleeds into the H-scenes as well, but some people like that. If you pick it up during a sale I'd say it's worth the money.

  This game has a really strong opening hour, with tight pacing and solid jokes. Sadly, after the opening hour it pretty much instantly loses all its charm, and becomes an unbearable slog. It just turns into super bland and telegraphed anime hijinks, one after another, with no character chemistry, no nuance, and no meaningful plot progression. Sadly, don't recommend.

  I haven't played much of the game yet, but so far it looks hilarious so I have high hopes. I will update this later and provide full review once I finish it, but for now, give it a try! @Edit: Yup, it is hilarious af and the translation team did a great job with memes and such, though some knowledge of otaku culture is still required to understand everything Money well spent. @Edit2: So after finishing the game, I must say that its greatest draw is its comedy. It's really fun, the game is full of memes and it made me laugh quite a number of times, but if you're looking for some great romance unfortunately you won't find it here, although it has a few sweet moments. The VA is good (all hail Shimizu Ai), and I find that chill music to be great. I'm a big fan of piano though so I might be just a tiny bit biased. Overall I can safely recomment this game to any VN fan, the quality imho places it among the best releases this year had to offer so far. Looking forward to Aokana and Senren Banka.

  Got more comedy then I expected, laught so much during the first 2 hours playing! Got a really great UI and unique characters. Bookmark instead of save and load was interesting, almost feeling like bookmarking a good chapter in a book. Totally worth it!!

  Very solid visual novel with light-hearted romance, somewhat relatable characters, and sophmoric humor. The strength to this one lies in the use of modern language, pop-culture, and memes without coming off as r/FellowKids-esque. I won't lie, this is my second only visual novel, next to Doki Doki Literature Club, and I played this without the 18+ patch available on their website so take my more basic review with a grain of salt, but I thorougly enjoyed this.

  Sankaku Renai is a really good Visual Novel from a technical Viewpoint, it has a great Translation, very pretty Art and nice Voice Acting. However when it comes to the Content of the Game it gets trickier. The Story itself is nothing new, as you play as your average Highschooler enjoying his Schoollife with his Club. Since that entire Setup really isnt anything new it wont be that exciting, but it also wont dissapoint completely. The Main Negative Point now, however is the Writing. This entire Visual Novel is a Bundle of Sex Jokes and Humor that you typically hear from a Boy in his puberty. If that is something you enjoy then you will really love this Game. If you want a nice Romance Story, then this Visual Novel will be a bit of a letdown. I still enjoy it, as a little bit of Comedy, but I bought this hoping for some nice Relationships and you do get Relationships as he always ends up dating one of his female Clubmembers. Sounds good right, not if the entire Romance feels kinda rushed once you start the Route of a specific Girl and will end relative quickly. Also the Main Guy is kinda a Dick, so it never gets the "lovey Dovey" Feel, but more of a I like to Bully my Girlfriend. The common Route is the Main Part of this Game, which is basically mainly just Comedy, sometimes good and sometimes not so good. In the End, this is for sure not a bad Game per se, but more of a Game that only certain people will really enjoy. If you want to see some really nice Relationship Builups and the entire Evolution of their Love over a longer Time, then this will not be the Game for you. If you are just looking for a lighthearted Comedy, Slice of Life kinda Story, with a Protagonist that is kinda mean then you will really like this Game. Just be prepared for a shit ton of Sex Jokes.
