  Incredible game, don't buy it. First, my thoughts on Quiplash itself. Quiplash is, in essence, Cards Against Humanity refined. A prompt is given to two players who are asked to respond with the funniest thing they can think of. Then, both answers are shown on screen, and everyone votes on what they think is the funnier answer. You get points for everybody who votes for your answer. In the final round, everybody responds to the same prompt, before delivering three votes amongst all the answers. Most points wins. It's simple to understand and especially funny. I did make a reference earlier to Cards Against Humanity. Here's the biggest difference. Since Cards comes with physical printed cards, it always has the same sense of humor. Each group of people might have different senses of humor, so if your group doesn't gel with the game's, it's going to get awkward fast. Since Quiplash is all digital, you can type whatever response you want to the prompts. You know your group, so you can push the boundaries as far as you want. This is the kind of game that will work at everything from family gatherings to parties with immature teenagers. You can fit any kind of joke within the confines of the game, and since all you need to join the game is a smartphone, everybody can get in on the game and figure out how to play. It's super accessible. So, why don't I recommend this game? At the time this came out it was the only way to play this game, but since then, Jackbox Games (the developers) have gone wild with their Jackbox Party Pack series. The Jackbox Party Packs are a collection of party games, five in each pack, all played using your phones as controllers. Party Pack 2, 3, and 7 all include a version of Quiplash. - Party Pack 2 has Quiplash XL, which is this exact game but with more questions, making this purchase rather redundant. It might not seem worth it at first to spend $25 instead of $10, but Party Pack 2 regularly goes on sale for around $12.50, which is an absolute steal considering you also get four other extremely fun games. - Party Pack 3 has Quiplash 2, packed with more questions, the option to write custom games, and a slightly different final round. Personally I think the final round here isn't as funny as the original. It's not that it's bad, it's just that the more structured format of the humor doesn't always land. But this version is still the one I've played the most. Why? For one, the final round is only one question, so it's not that big a deal, but it's also because Party Pack 3 has one of the best lineups of other games. It's super easy to open up knowing that all five games will be a hit with every group I take them to, whereas most other packs have one or two games that might not appeal to everyone. - Party Pack 7 (the most recent at the time of writing) has Quiplash 3, with even more questions, a cutesy claymation aesthetic, and a final round more in line with the main game, having you list three responses to each prompt. Definitely more on par in terms of humor with the original, I've not had any jokes fall flat here. Not to mention the rest of the pack has probably my favorite lineup of games in the series, this is an excellent choice as well, though as the most recent in the series it's the most expensive of the three. Point being, you should grab one of the games I just listed above instead of this to play a rousing round of Quiplash. Trust me, you won't regret it.

  There's no reason to get this game. Jackbox Party Pack 2 has "Quiplash XL", with the DLC pack 1 and an additional hundred-something questions that you can't even get in the standalone version, included already. Unless you want to play Quiplash and have more than $10 but less than $25 - and even then, you also wouldn't mind the fact that this will never be as complete as the attached-to-a-bundle-as-an-afterthought version - avoid this piece entirely.

[h1]Personal Experience[/h1] A very fun multiplayer game for 3-8 players in the same lobby, I've played in a lobby of 3 and I can for sure say this was one of the best multiplayer party games I've ever played. UPDATE: Played in a lobby of 8 people + Audience and had so much fun with my friends. A must-buy in my opinion. Use your creativity, or just say the funniest / most stupid things that come to your mind. Form a party of friends and laugh together through 3 rounds. Every round is different in terms of points and answers, so besides having fun you get to compete constantly and try to beat other party members. Quiplash is also part of the Jackbox Party Packs 2, Jackbox Party Pack 3 and Jackbox Party Pack 7. That’s how fun, popular and good it is. If you have a group of friends that seek for a fun and quick game to make everyone smile and have fun, this is something you should buy.   Are you creative? Are you funny? Do you have 3+ friends? If you meet all the requirement above, this game is endless amount of laughter just for a simple $10. This game is have some creative question that will get your quick mind going, go nuts, go wild. Theres no right or wrong answer. Pros: Only one copy of the game is required to play, just like a board game Good set of questions that will keep you going for quite a while Great entertainment Cons: Once the questions gets repeated the replay value may diminish Need friends to play it, more the merrier My flatmates forgot to go flat shopping because we got too addicted to this game.

  DO NOT BUY! The other versions in Party Pack 2 and most importantly 3, are much better. I spent money on nothing, because I wanted user generated content, so I had to buy the pack afterwords :(
