  the game is great but what i really wanna praise is the customer support. joined the discord because i was having problems with the game. I couldn't click anything and on the night i posted on the discord the devs immediately responded and helped get my game going. 10/10

  First off, I like this game. I really, REALLY, like this game. It's exactly what I loved about Papers Please mixed with a greater variety of mechanics and a more politically-relevant plot for the modern day. If you're reading this, go in blind and play; there's a lot to enjoy mechanically and narratively. That being said, this game's save system is awful. Instead of letting you overwrite individual slots, you have to actually delete an entire row of slots. I'm not at all sure of the necessity of this way of scaffolding this mechanism. Worst of all, as someone who has put around 5-6 hours into getting through the game, it has just stopped saving entirely. The saves aren't overwriting one another meaning all I have saving my last few hours of game time is the autosave; something that could be deleted with one misclick. It's a game that deserves to be played but, God, this really isn't on. Get Not Tonight at your own risk with the above consideration.

  Very fun game that takes some inspiration from Papers Please but is drastically different in many ways. The game has phenomenal music, witty and funny dialogue, and overall really likable characters. I had to play Papers Please in segments because it got too repetitive and boring over time, but the addition of music and different clubs in Not Tonight allowed me to stay immersed and want to play longer. The only issue I found was that I could not play the One Love DLC, but the main game is not affected by this. I would pay full price for this game, although I did buy it on a sale. 9/10.

  Yes, another review mentioning Papers, Please, but that game really was such a diamond in the rough and made me want another similar gameplay loop. Enough years later, and Not Tonight did not disappoint, even if it was a little easier. The music is so stereotypical, and I think leaning hard into that really made me appreciate the songs even more, to the point where these songs became part of my daily playlists, even overtaking them at times. Saw that this game only had around 1500 reviews, so wanted to throw my positive one in.

  Fun and quirky bouncer simulator in a fictional post-Brexit UK. If you've played Papers, Please the gameplay is similar, but I'd say it's slightly easier and of course the stakes are a lot lower. There's a bit of a plot, but in general the tone is darkly comical and the writing mostly goes for funny quips. I'd say it still does a decent job of getting its point across. You can screw yourself over by making poor choices early in a chapter and not realizing it until days later (not getting enough rest, not saving money for bills) but fortunately the game keeps saves of your past days so you can go back without starting over entirely. I really enjoyed my time with the game and I think it's the best I've played of this "style" of gameplay.

  It's repetitive, but it's fun and I couldn't stop until I got all achievements. As a EURO who used to live in the UK I took this one personally. Love the idea and dark humor of devs. Screw Brexit. p.s I shazamed more songs that I'd like to admit lol

  Toda hora apresentando bugs irritantes, como de tentar vender certas "balas" para as pessoas certas, mas o jogo considerá-las como alguém que vai recusar, mesmo que o jogo tenha dito que podia (não estou referindo ao queijo reverso, e a bolha rosa). Junto com uma jogatina extremamente repetitiva, e uma interface chata de manusear...

  [b][i]Not Tonight[/i], simply put, is a beefier [i]Papers, Please[/i].[/b] Now I know [i]Papers, Please[/i] was the original and deserves all the credit in the world, but [i]Not Tonight[/i] takes the core idea and just adds more gameplay and collectables and just makes it fuller. The music, pixel art, and animations are just fantastic. Couldn't be better, in my opinion. [b]Pros:[/b] +The pixel artwork and animation is out of this world +The music and overall ambience is fantastic +The gameplay is great +The unlockables and upgrades to yourself and apartment are awesome [b]Cons:[/b] -I could do without the political undertones, but it's really fine (I don't think it's edgey or anything - just perhaps a bit boring) [b]Well worth full price for those that enjoyed [i]Papers, Please[/i].[/b]

  If you wanted a spiritual sequel to "Papers, Please", then this is what you're looking for. Same premise. Check IDs and other things for mistakes, earn enough money to get by in life, face unique guests with choices, etc. Unlike PP, you can actually move your character around small areas like your living space and the inside of clubs, but it's pretty linear. Also unlike PP, you can spend money on upgrades for your living space (that you can see), and you can also buy new clothes. I can't stress enough how much this feels like "Papers, Please." So, if you enjoyed that game at all, then you'll enjoy "Not Tonight." GLORY TO AR-...nevermind.
