  This will become one of my favourite games I fear. It's still early access, but it gives you a lot of freedom to muck about with cars and earn money how you want. It seems to use the My Summer Car engine, which is great as I love that game too. The game offers a unique experience no other game has done. My Summer Car was more a story based survival game, this is more a sandbox do what you want game where you can buy, restore and repair cars, used cars, used parts, and new parts. It's a little like ... Car Mechanic Simulator, but I found that too dummed down. Like Jalopy, but that was more story based and less technical than this. Like Wrench but without the VR, a lot like wrench, a bit more janky but quicker to get stuff done. A bit like Revhead, where you can explore the map and find and buy wrecks at the junkyard. The clouds look great, there is a day night cycle of the right length, sunrise and sunsets look good, performance is very good - I get pretty much constant 52 FPS (which I already limited to 52 anyway) which considering the graphics and excellent skybox is very impressive compared to most other beta games. It's needs a lot of polish and not yet ready for the mainstream, there is no tutorial at this point, so you have to find some answers on Discord, and some by trial an error. I quite like the discovery experience anyway. If you like cars, mechanics, free roam open world, a bit of money earning, a bit of jank, then you cannot go wrong. The main issues at the moment are the steering physics are a little twitchy with keyboard, and there is no controller support - you can get an XBox working with steams controller configuration settings, and entering and exiting cars is not particularly graceful, like My Summer Car was in the early versions - you usually get launched into the air through the roof when you try to sit in the driving seat.

  Hello reader. My name is Human and I came down from the stars. I'm technically from the future but you wouldn't understand just as much as you would never comprehend that I'm you. I have no message of importance, requests, or insight to share but I thought I'd leave some writing on the wall, the same as we do in public shitters. This game satisfies my grease monkey desires without the grease. It's got bugs, some pretty major ones. This is just a fact but the learning curve is not steep, so learning to avoid bug disaster comes quickly. Here's some tips for anyone interested in buying the game. When opening the hood, don't hold the wrench because you might accidentally loosen a bolt in the engine compartment and if you don't know which bolt you touched you might have a problem, and waste a lot of time, trying to find it. Secondly, there's a cardboard box in the corner of the shop next to the windows and those 3 work benches. Don't touch it. If you make the mistake of touching it and see what I saw happen, go to the tire store and buy the puller tool. Thirdly, the red box that looks kind of like a welder, is in fact, a welder. You can use left click/hold on the welder itself to move it around the shop and that little thing next to the handle that looks almost like an air compressor nozzle, is the actual welding tool. You can left click/hold on a thin little piece of solder (or whatever they call it in the game in that little box) and hover that piece over the welding tool until you see a checkmark. When you let go on the checkmark, you've successfully placed the solder into the tool and right clicking on the tool will cause you to hold it and then you can weld away. It was confusing for me and took some time to figure out. Fourth and last tip, batteries are 10 bucks cheaper at the gas station store than the book. For any further advice or questions you must peer into your own soul. Great game and can't wait for more updates which have been frequent and exciting since I bought the game.

  9/10 - borderline perfection and the blueprint for a mechanic game. This is like an open-world Car Mechanic Simulator; yet better. Aside from some much needed polishing inherent to the early access process, and a bit more variety that's no doubt coming, this game is basically perfect. The free-form gameplay without needing to switch around in different modes, in addition to the ability to almost literally build a car from the catalogue alone, is the absolute best part about it. This makes it so much easier and more accessible that others in this genre. One or 2 areas I think it could be improved is maybe having a "utility belt" system so the wrench stops running away from home. Some may find the lack of build assistance a bit of a deterrent if they may not know exactly how an engine or suspension is built, so a "guidebook" of some kind could certainly help. Honestly though, these are the only real issues I can find. Even in its current state I think it's fantastic; I love it.

  WORK: I Think the game needs More Cars. Coupe Cars,A Lightweight AE 86 Sprinter trueno would be Wonderful(!!RWD!!), SUV, Trucks, Big Rigs, More Variety of AI, Actual People driving, Actual AI in shops, Race/Drag/Drift/MountainRacing Events, Time Trials, Drift tires and drift upgrade options, different steering wheels, paintable rims, suspension tuning, air/fuel ratio tuning, compression checker/tool, tire pressure gauge, legitimate mirror reflection, I want to be able to race AI on my Sunday drive in the mountain areas. Smokes, Alcohol, Weed, Guns, Make the airplane at the junkyard buyable and fixable and flyable. TV. Bed/ HOME/ HOUSE? ACTUAL BED ROOM. please. I love your game so far. I think You Could make this game a BANGER if You dont lose patience. It may be tedious or hard But you got this!! Thank you for what is becoming one of my favorite games!!

  This game has huge potential and is an already really fun junkyard car builder, it really gets to the core of what it's like to buy old scrappy cars and parts for them, then cobble them together with minimal money to spare. Don't let the questionable graphics and cheap-ish feel put you off, if you're into cars and taking them apart as well as repairing or just smashing them up, this might well be a new favourite for you. The map is also being expanded upon with updates and has gone from a small island to a much larger map already with a city currently being developed. The game could really benefit from better physics and handling however the current handling is already being steadily improved and could get a lot better, that being said I do think it is probably the weakest point. I do also want to see more dynamic tyre simulation in respect to tyre wear and damage, you can already puncture a tyre or damage it to become deflated but it seems more upon impact with the vehicle itself or a bit random for punctures. I wanna smoke tyres until they're bald then eventually explode! ;) I really enjoy the game even nearly a 100 hours into a game that that is developed by a very small developer base (might even be one person) I don't find it boring even at this point but do think it could benefit from a wider selection of aftermarket parts and accessories. This could include body kits, grills, lights or maybe even more body configs for the Lad (Lada irl) such as a pickup, currently the best way to transport a large amount of parts is by trailer or by removing the interior of your car and roof for larger items. More driving missions / jobs and more racing to make money, maybe even against AI. Rallying could have a huge part in this game and would tie very nicely into existing mechanics in the game, a bit like My Summer Car does it. Having stages and having to bodge your vehicle the best you can with whatever parts you've brought would be absolutely amazing fun and I can't imagine it would be too difficult to implement given existing features of the game. We also need roll cages and fire extinguishers as well as fire mechanics, that would be cool to see. Sure there are plenty bugs here and there but with active developer(s) the game is being constantly improved and expanded and will hopefully continue to be to then become a greater-than-ever game. One I did come across a few times was landing a jump and the car smashing into the floor and being stopped dead as if I'd hit a brick wall instead of damaging the suspension and underside of the car and retaining it's momentum. The part condition mechanics could also do with being improved as currently the part goes from being shiny and new to being bent (on some suspension parts) and rusty with no progressive visuals in between. I do really love this game though and as a 6 years experienced mechanic and general car nut (IRL) it really scratches that itch of having vehicular fun... I do massively approve of this game and gives me some vibes of playing games such as Street Legal Racing: Redline or My Summer Car and merging it into Mechanic Simulator all with a cute 'indie' feel to it. A major difference that sets this game apart from the many other car mechanic simulation games are the how it has something from all of them while when I play those other games I often find myself thinking, this is cool but I wish you could do this or that's cool but I wish you could do this. A for instance could be withe Car Mechanic Simulator, it's fun but monotonous as you can't drive the cars much and the physics are basic to say the least. At least in this you can roll your car and really smash it up to the point of it being undriveable then having to decide to sell it or drag it home and either repair or use it as a parts car for another project. Another for instance could be in Street Legal Racing, you can go to the junkyard and buy a whole car but there aren't loose parts you can buy individually and you can't take an engine out of a wreck and buy just that like you can in My Garage. I actually think it's my favourite car building / mechanic game of all time and it gets so many things so right and lots of real world 'old car' issues are there such as rust repairs and total engine failures even if it doesn't go into quite as much detail as some other games like Wrench for instance. This does work in the games favour though as it strikes a very nice balance between the realistic, tedious repair and maintenance of old vehicles and actually being able to get the job done however thoroughly and go and enjoy your freshly partially or fully restored vehicle, then sell it of course to start all over again with another one (that's of course if you don't immediately crash it and slash the value in half) ;D At the minute it is mostly sandbox but with money, so you buy, fix and sell cars to make money and if you're very low on money you can take on customer's cars to fault find and repair to earn a bit of money without risk of losing any. It does also have a survival and needs system currently in the game and being expanded and improved in the sandbox mode but there's also a really cool survival mode which is very much like The Long Drive game which I find really cool and works really well with the games mechanics. The price I did initially find a little steep considering it's an early access game however even in it's current state there's still plenty in the game and even better when you consider this game is being updated frequently, I can see the hard work and love going into this game which makes it well worth it for me All in all I really do think this is the most authentic redneck junkyard mechanic game there is! Hopefully you find that interesting and thankyou for reading until the end, I can babble a little sometimes hehe, now go buy the game! :)
