  i got this game with a coupon so i think it was 2 bucks? its okay. doom vibes killing skeletons with guns is fun. it has very little replayability. npcs clip through rocks and terrain often. hit markers are sketchy at best. if youve ever played an fps shooter this game will be too easy for you even on "very hard " difficulty setting.

  Another amazing game in The Masked Forces series. This time with a little bit of RPG elements added. Level up and unlock weapons as you eliminate various mystic demons. The fun is endless. Pros: -Skins! -Upgradeable weapons and armor -Metal soundtracks -A wide range of different enemies -Many weapons to unlock -10/10 graphics Cons: -No multiplayer

  Was gifted the masked forces and masked shooters games, and was intrigued to play this game when I noticed that it was on sale. feel like it was worth the money I paid for it. Honestly not bad, a big improvement on the other masked forces games. Would recommend.

  It's fine on the first two maps and you think it's gonna be just a fun, arcade style arena shooter where you just complete the selected objective type. Then you try to play Map 03 (the first boss map) and the issues become apparent: Edit: I have to instert an update here that the dev responding to my forum post and fixed the optimization issues so everything seems to run fine now. However, I'm still hesitant to update my review to postive because of the aformented core gameplay issues. *The optimization goes to complete hell in a handbasket. My system was lagging to the point of borderline unplayable at times despite my overclocked 6600k and GTX-1060 not even being at at 50% load or temps over 40 degrees. How this happened in a CLOSED OFF cave system when the open maps run at 150FPS+ plus with no problem is baffling. *The lack of sprinting and enemies having a faster movement speed than you means you can't effectivily keep distance between them and you. That means tougher, higher-DPS enemies like bosses will tear you apart with no way to dodge them or run away and re-group. *Enemies with ranged attacks have magic, omnipresent eyesight and deadaim aiming that enables them to hit you before you're even close enough to see them through the fog. *Absolutely no ammo pick-ups in game. That means you if get lost on a boss map and waste all your ammo on the constantly re-spawning enemies before you reach the boss you're boned. It was frustrating writing this because I was having a blast just running around the open maps killing waves of enemies to rack up money and EXP to upgrade my character, but when I decided to fire up that first boss dungeon it was just all over.

  Very simplistic shooter, which is actually not a slam. Got a few minutes before heading out to dump those bodies from your serial killing spree? Fire this up for some harmless fun. 7/10

  https://youtu.be/iLURTxqJTzc 1 – GENERAL This game has so many tags on the store page that it seems a AAA game. The devs even mention that it has RPG elements... This really sounds like a great mix of games, but it all resumes to a simple FPS. The graphics are traditional Unity stuff, with some care a polish, I can give them that, even knowing that half of the assets are misplaced. The sound performance goes from mediocre to unbearable, and I advise you to lower the sound a little bit or you will be scared with some loudness spikes here and there, but that is not related with gameplay, just some sounds are way worse than others. Some weapons seem to have very similar sounds, but mostly their sounds are OK. Some of the demons have proper sounds, unfortunately, they remind me of sick people vomiting. I find out that the sound clues do not help a lot since they do not come from the proper direction, and with any sense of distance. Fortunately, the soundtrack is not bad, at least that. Perfectly acceptable heavy metal. Story wise... nothing! But what were you expecting? 2 – GAMEPLAY You play with your stiff soldier and you shoot mostly skeletons. You can choose between some different weapons, some of those completely useless. They all have different skins and are upgradeable. You can also acquire armor, each one of those with a different perk. I found that the one who gives us a bot to help is very handy. Unfortunately, that bot tends to spawn inside the walls in the dungeon level. It could be worse. Imagine that the enemies could see you and shoot you with pinpoint accuracy way before you can see them? Imagine that if you choose to play during the evening you cannot saw them at all? Well, all this will happen. Not all is bad. You have some different game modes, I found survival and invasion to be surprisingly fun. The game is short and repetitive, but it has some replay value since you will have to grind for upgrades to be able to kill stronger opponents. It's a shame that we have to do that grinding in the same levels over and over again. The game has a level editor, and actually already has multiplayer. 3 – CONCLUSION So, is this a poor's man DOOM? Far from that. Even for the small price, the game does not deliver. I bare to play it for less than 4 hours, perhaps I had some fun during the first one. It's not entirely bad, but it lacks the content, gameplay and graphics... ermm, ok, that didn't sound good...
