  Short version: Basically, this is a fun little game, and given how cheap it is you're going to get a decent value for your money. It's not without it's faults... And those faults can be annoying, but at the end of the day it's fun, I enjoyed it for a while, it costs as much as a small snack and lasts way longer. Something that's interesting about this game is that your currency is happiness - there's a money score but that's just your high score. You buy things with happiness points. Which doesn't make a lot of sense but is an interesting game mechanic I suppose. Definitely reminds me of a cook, serve, delicious type game, but definitely works differently enough to not be a carbon copy or a knockoff. PROS: -Fun. That's... Kind of important for a game. There's not a lot on this pros list but honestly this one has a lot of weight, since the cons didn't undo how fun this game was. -Lovely pixel art graphics. -Cheap Cons: -The big one is that the game could probably use some more balancing. I never bought a second table because there was no reason for me to, and I tried to put off buying upgrades for as long as I could because there was nothing pushing me to buy them. It was easier getting orders right the less customers and the less options I have. Sure, upgraded dishes supposedly give you more happiness form your customers, but it was never a noticable amount, and certainly not enough to offset the amount of happiness I lost form buying them. What's stopping me from just making the simplest, plainest burgers for eternity? I'd last way longer than if I tried to get fancy. I only really bought upgrades if I was getting bored and felt like I could handle it. -The game goes from 3 toppings per burger, to 4, to 5... Then back down to 3, and then repeats the cycle. Granted, things like the speed at which customers come at you gets higher, but it's still a huge relief going back down to 3. Which jsut helps let the game feel unbalanced. -NO HIGH SCORE TABLE FOR A HIGH SCORE BASED GAME. How am I supposed to defeat my best run if I don't know what my best run WAS? Am I supposed to... REMEMBER it like some kind of caveman?! (All jokes aside though, seriously. local high score, please) -I got bored once I reached 40,000 points. At that point I had been playing the game for nearly 2 hours and because I was avoiding getting too fancy with my burgers, and because the game reverted me back to 3 toppings per burger, I probably could've kept playing for quite a while longer and felt like it'll take too long to get to the point where it really feels like I'm fighting again, so I just quit. -After a certian amount of time has passed, you can no longer check what's on a customer's ticket. -sometimes i'd click one customer and it would open two order tickets and i wouldn't know which one belongs to who. -UNLIKE cook serve delicious, there's no keyboard shortcuts, you have to manually select each topping. And unless you're one of those madlad speedrunners, I feel like there is only so fast a person can reasonably click things, but the fact i miss customers implies the game thinks i could be going faster. -Minor bugs: Music cutting out, clicking the game when y ou're tabbed out doesn't get you back into it, etc. -I think the game should be less about "memorize what the customer wanted, then try to select it in a menu without fucking up" and more like "what the customer ordered is right in front of you, make it as quickly as you can", as well as maybe having some diner dash style additional challenges. like customers asking for side dishes, having to pick stuff up, etc. or being able to buy things to increase customer's patience, etc. This feels like a tiny little indie passion project in both good ways and bad ways, and while I feel like I've exhausted all I can from this build of the game, I feel like I had fun and that this game has potential to grow, and if "Make the burger 2" comes out it'll be worth checking out for the better polish and new features.

  I love burgers and I like the art style of the game. But how the hell should I ever be capable of serving more than two tables at once when I have to memorize the ingredients and the customer that ordered it while time is ticking down quickly? Glad that I can just order burgers and not have to prepare them for customers. I would suck at that. I'd love to see the feature to see the actual order while I prepare it. Without that, it's not a very fun memory game.

  Platform: PC (Steam) Playtime: 1h 37m Completion Date: This game doesn't contain a story mode or campaign ♾ Popular Review: - My Review: It's not really a cooking game, it's all about memorizing ingredient order to increase your happiness because you should buy more ingredients and make a new high score. Trying to remember ingredients as fast as you can doesn't make the game fun.

  I would not recommend this game to other people. The game is a simple memorization game with a re-skin. It is NOT Diner Dash. It is NOT Papa's Burgeria. You simply read the tickets (that customers give you with their order) and click on the ingredients to make the burger. After about 12 days, you will not be able to keep up with the customers and will start losing "happiness" (also counts as the game's currency) and eventually lose. I'd say don't give this game a try.

  ★☆☆☆☆ Such a disappointment, the game looked like it has a lot of potential but it unfortunately isn't a good game. With the lack of an early access tag I doubt the game will be updated to match peoples expectation, so avoid this game if your looking for a fun and casual cooking game. The game is a memory game with a food skin, customers walk up to the table, you click on them to see their order and you need to remember the ingredients and order of them when you make the burger (the ingredients aren't shown there) and then you serve the correct customer the correct burger and get points. That's the whole gameplay loop right there, you eventually get more tables and more ingredients but that's it, just a linear difficulty curve with no gameplay improvements along the way. - The graphics are nice - The audio design is meh at best, the music muffles out the sound effects but even with the music soft enough to hear all the sound effects there isn't really much going on there. The game ultimately looks charming but feels like a downgraded Diner Dash (a game from 2009). I don't like dumping on indie games but yeah, I didn't have fun with the game nor did it play or even feel like what I expected it to. As such the game gets a 1/5 from me.
