  Still like riding on Ice, only needed to ride the first track to know I wont enjoy it, AI is slow still, scrubs actually feel worse. first MXGP in the series I'm probably refunding because this is a sad cash grab like they didn't actually address a lot of core issues. Will prob pick it up on sale but not worth full price. Still no Online Lobbies just random quick matches or Private lobbies, customisable gear is the same as the last game. Best improvement is you can ride for factory teams.

  My first experience with the game was "its so bad". Without hesitation I wrote negative review just after an hour playing MXGP 19. Fortunately I gave the game second chance and I must say that its the best MX GP game yet. I never rode on MX bike and dont really know how real bike behave but I have much fun racing in the game, mainy because its not dumb throttle and brake experience. The ruts despite to not direc the bike like in old series, the degraded track lap after lap has huge impact on bike handling. Also the surface the player race on is different in feeling and requires different bike set up. The changes itself are not big in comparison to ME SX 2 but sure its much nicer to play. From my point of view I mostly enjoy the new helmet camera with better head movement and smaller field of view which is more realistic. AI was also improved an at this moment the artificial racers do not push you out on every corner and the level of difficulty is at enjoyable level. And of course physics. Its a nice balance of challange and pleasure. I also managed to have a front washout few times so finally front tyre grip is not 100% granted however the level of it is still way to high in my feeling. Depending on the weather the management of throttle and rear tyre slide requires more or less grip but again its a nice level of a challange to leanr how to do it properly. Graphics were slightly improved with a very good FPS rate. Animations are fluent, realistic and tracks have nice level of detail. Unfortunately I have a feeling that the shadows were made simplier to keep the good frames per second. Thats why on some tracks the ground and objects look plain not giving realistic look. Of course there are things that I dislike and that were not improved/fixed. The first one is rapid respawn when you leave the track too far or make a short cut. I would prefer a large time penalty rather than respawn that can destroy whole race. If the rider crash in front of you - its instantly respawned and doesnt influence the rider in case of running over the bike. The playground track is the worst yet in my opinion. The shadows in it look plain, ground textures seem to be stretched out in some places and in overall it looks like it was made in hurry. Also lack of possiblity to race on it with friends in multiplayer mode is a thing I miss very much. As I mention the multiplayer its as plain as it was in ME SX 2. No dedicated servers, limited functions. I think that for the next year it must be a major improvement to make the game worth buying. Fortunately the bugs that occur in the game are not game braking, so I hope that they will be fixed soon leaving the game as a very nice time killer. In general MX GP 19 is a good game with few improvements that make it more enjoyable than ME SX 2. In comparison t o MX GP Pro its a bigger step forward but in some aspects nothing changed what can be disappointing for many people. PROS: -nice physics whith good challange/enjoyment ratio -nice graphics with very good animations and fps -ruts influence the bike handling -lots of options to customise the bike -improved AI -nice terrain simulation -playground challanges that allow to unlock some bonus stuff -great onboard view with narrower field of view -dynamic weather! CONS: -front wheel has always grip -arcady wheelie, you cant flip over the bike -low multiplayer features -instant respawns when leaving track -poor playground track -simple and bad looking shadows in the game -no customisable field of view for onboard cameras -no possibility to lock camera for online races KNOWN BUGS: -in onboard camera often the view turns back distracting the player -no possibility to use saved set up in multiplayer -the throttle is very sensitive when starting on the grid, even minimum touch on the trigger revs the engine up to maximum

  OK, lets make a review for this game! First of all - This game is the BEST in the series! All settings on "Realism" and camera set to "Helmet-view" and this game is so damn fun!! :) I cant understand wy many people dislike this game? Maby some are just "max-fed" with the series? (Like sooo many other game-series...) But me myself cant stop playing this game! :D Alot of improvement has been done, and i think the biggest thumbs-up goes to OPTIMIZATION. This game runs so good that my 8 year old AMD computer can handle this game on ULTRA with a stable 60-FPS!!!! Some ppl saying "its like driving on ice" but i can tell you, does ppl have'nt even played the game for 1 hour, and i realy dont think that they tried all the different terrain?..... Some terrain are slippery, YES, but some are realy "grippy". One example if you try to ride a 125 - 2 stroke on sand you gonna have a realy hard time doing so :P (as in real life!) But then ride the same bike on "hard soil" and you will be faster then the 250 F bikes! So far this game is all i need to enjoy life but there is still some room for improvements ;) To realy complete this game we could need some stuff: *Fix the ramps over the broken bridge. *Let us play "FREEROAM" in Multiplayer. *(Map-Editor) Play the maps in Multiplayer + Where can i find / download other peoples maps?? *(Helmet-View without goggles) Some corners make you crash or go under the ground with this camera-view. *Let us but more stickers on the bikes + Recoloring for the FRAME'S please!? And there is alot more fun things to put in this awesome game but will save it for another day :) Now I'am done typing, need to get back In-Game and spend alot more hours in this! xD YES!.... I recommend this game, ABSOLUTLY!! :)

  I played over 100 hours of MXGP Pro and I can say, they made a lot of improvements over the last game. pro's + rider feels more loose on the ground and in the air + dynamic weather in races, best new feature in my eyes!!! :D + way better whips than Pro (people just don't know how to whip and criticize) + better terrain deformation, you can at least feel the ruts and sometimes use them + AI is thougher (but only because they are not sliding around in every corner like the player, which makes it frustrating) + graphics are just awesome, every time con's - too many ruts, this feels too unrealistic. Maybe 2-5 main lines but not like 15 in one corner - ruts are too inconsistent, sometimes they grab you, most of the time they don't - rear tire is WAY to loose on advanced controls, this sliding around is kinda annoying and gives the AI a big advantage But overall, I think this is the best MXGP so far. They make steps in the right direction but with only one year apart I don't expect really big changes. But I trust the proccess!! :)

  PROS: - A more natural-feeling ride (turning is much, much more realistic than past titles, in-air feels more "flowy") - Improved ruts and deformation (not perfect but a good start) - Some much needed new gear sets - AI is much, much better (more competitive and more intelligent) - Official teams (this is important because we don't get this in the MESX games) - More forgiving corner exits (compared to MXGP Pro) CONS: - No functional clutch (still just cuts power to your bike, it doesn't give you a "boost" out of corners or let you raise your RPMs when bogging the engine a bit; MXGP Pro' clutch was way better) - Boring jersey name and number customization (same plain fonts that look like crap compared to the AI characters; you still have to back out to the menus to change the color of these characters) - First person/helmet cam view is too far back and too low (it isn't terrible, but it's worth noting as you feel like your constantly hanging your butt over the rear fender) - Items are still too expensive (this could be remedied with a gear sponsor mechanism... Just sayin) - Jumps feel really small compared to past titles (not sure which scale is more realistic- Pro vs 2019, but they feel too small) SUMMARY: All in all, this game is great. I feel like Milestone has made an effort to merge the two different physics models (MESX and MXGP Pro) and came close to nailing down a solid model. This new model feels better than any of the previous games. You can get a really good flow going and outside vs. inside actually matters (outside lines can get a better drive out of corners for example). Great job Milestone! Speaking of corners... The deformation and ruts add quite a bit to the gameplay. These ruts are useful, but not overly "rail-like" (if that makes sense). I like them! OVERALL RATING: 8/10 I can definitely recommend this game to new and existing fans of these games!

  Sadly, it just wasn't for me... I purchased this game because I own MXGP 3 and love it. It's not perfect, but it was so much fun to play. So when I noticed that this game was 50% off I thought I would give it a try. Several improvements have been added to this installment and I enjoyed some of them. Graphics look great, the new first person camera where mud will get on your goggles and you have to tear off the protective sheets to see clearly again is awesome! The physics is where they lost me though, they attempted to add the ability to "wash out," this happens when the rider hits the throttle to hard in a corner and the bikes spins around. Now as someone who does ride, I know this is something that is very easy to do on a motorcycle especially on a larger cc engine. What the game doesn't provide the player with is the ruts that dirt tracks have to combat this problem. Without the ruts that are created by repetitive wear from the tires, you end up just sliding around the track the entire time. Also, the amount of traction you have coming out of corners and such can sometimes feel icy even if you're leaning back and using decent throttle control. I've noticed this on the starting line as well, especially on the 250cc bikes, the damn TTR 125 I had when I was a kid had more kick to it. It appears to me that they are still trying to figure out the proper physics, I do like that it takes more skill to ride in this version but it's just not there yet. I noticed some other odd physics problems as well, such as, weird behavior from the bike when you land on the front tire after a scrub. A couple times I would end up "crab walking" to the other side of the track due to the rare but odd glitch. I also sometimes would experience a very odd sliding affect that just felt completely weird and uncontrollable. You can tone this down by adjusting the physics setting in the menu, this returns the play style back to something closer to MXGP 3. Then I ran into the problem of "why am I paying 25 bucks for this game when I can play MXGP 3 for free?", when I couldn't answer that question I decided to refund my money and play MXGP 3 instead. All said and done, I just really didn't notice enough improvements in the game to justify purchasing it. You ride on the same tracks as before, with a slightly better AI and better graphics. The new physics are a blessing and a curse in most instances and I just never really enjoyed them. One last thing, will the developers for the love of God please learn how a fucking clutch works!

  Best mx game yet, 4 strokes sound handle great even better than monster energy supercross, fun riding everyones tracks they upload never get bored of same old tracks. Only bad is 2 strokes dont sound good.
