  This DLC is great. Very tense. However, you need to know something. Your flashlight, you can move the beam with the right joystick on your controller (don't know about keyboard, but I assume somehow you can move it). This is very important. I was frustrated for like 30 minutes because I didn't know that, and once I realized it was no big deal and finished it. Overall, I didn't just LOVE the gameplay of the DLCs, but getting through them the ending was totally worth it. Also, the ending of this ties in with Little Nightmares the game, and I found to be genuinely horrible and awful and bravo to the devs. Great storytelling.

  The end of a great adventure

  The last part of a short story that ends.... And this is something you have to see for yourself. Just as in the previous DLC we had the collection of certain creatures, here we focus on the statues, which we have to bring to the right place to complete the add-on. As in the first DLC so here there is a problem with the controls, but it is not so serious. At a certain stage of the game we have to control both the character and the flashlight at the same time, which is quite difficult on the keyboard and mouse. However, on a pad there is probably not much of a problem with this.

  Summary

  The Residence is a very good completion of the story and showing the story of the whole game from a different angle, making the main plot of the game much clearer after going through all the DLC, especially the last one.   My feelings towards this DLC are still quite mixed, but it is the best of the 3 in the DLC. I love Luigi's Mansion, and this DLC feels similar in a cool way. First, the puzzles are great. Pretty difficult for my small IQ pee-pee brain, but fair all said and done. All of the puzzles contributing to a singular hub world is awesome, and love what they did with the gameplay here. The scares however are mixed - the atmosphere sets up a really spooky, genuinely scary setting that the base game and other DLCs hadn't done for me so far. However, the shadow children were more annoying than scary and the big scary is one we've already seen before (though with some additional lore that is cool). So all in all, it's really only good for someone with slight horror tolerance. The ending I thought was great and added a lot to the understanding of the Maw. After all is said and done, if the DLCs were included in base game, I'd feel pretty decent about the experience as a whole. As it stands though, it just feels like a lot of disjointed pieces that didn't quite reach a conclusive whole. I feel "just okay" about this game. Definitely fun, just nothing special.

  If you are interested in the story and lore of this universe its 100% worth getting. Very memorable ending. I enjoyed it a lot, although killing enemies with torch was a bit meh, very out of the blue concept that reminded me of alan wake

  Little Nightmares est un excellent bon jeu sorti en 2017 et qui nous offre la conclusion de son pack d'extension dénommé Secrets of the Maw. On y incarne un jeune garçon pris au piège dans la même sorte de prison que Six et qui va devoir tenter de s'enfuir et éventuellement de survivre. Dans ce dernier DLC dénommé La Résidence, on incarne à nouveau le jeune garçon en fuite et il va falloir cette fois-ci se sortir des quartiers de la Dame. Si les précédents DLC avaient leur lot de surprise et parfois de déception, La Résidence ne changera pas forcément la donne comme nous allons le voir ensemble dans la suite de ce test. Moyennant 9.99€, on a donc la possibilité de rallonger la durée de vie un poil courte de Little Nightmares. Pour être totalement honnête avec vous, il ne m'aura fallut que 35 minutes pour voir le générique de fin de cet épisode en ayant raté qu'une seule bouteille pour débloquer un succès. C'est très très court mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle car on arrive à une conclusion logique et implacable. On obtient enfin des réponses à certaines de nos interrogations et le background des niveaux nous en apprend énormément sur le Dame et sa famille. Disséminés ici et là, il y a pleins de petits détails qui nous offre une bien meilleure compréhension de l'univers du jeu et de son histoire. Les énigmes sont excellentes avec de très bonnes idées que l'ont avait pas encore vu dans le jeu et ses 2 premières extensions. Tout est logique et il ne vous faudra pas plus de 5 minutes pour comprendre ce qu'il faut faire sans pour autant vous creuser la tête. And in the end La Résidence ne fait pas très peur et il n'en a pas la vocation. Ici, on va découvrir le fin mot de l'histoire du jeune garçon et de relation avec Six. Il n'y a pas réellement de challenge si ce n'est quelques passages très bien réalisés avec une très bonne utilisation de la lampe torche. Sans singer l'affrontement final de Little Nightmares, notre rencontre avec la dame est logique et surtout très bien mise en scène. Un vrai jeu du chat et de la souris! Contrairement aux précédents épisodes, je n'ai pas rencontré de gros problèmes si ce n'est un crash putride du moteur UE4 et un problème de mur invisible au niveau de la bibliothèque qui m'a obligé de recommencer ladite section. Frustrant mais bien moins handicapant que les bugs rencontrés dans les autres aventures de notre jeune fuyard. L'ambiance est toujours aussi excellente avec une bande son magistrale et des situations originales. Même si je ne comprends pas forcément pourquoi il a fallu tout ce temps entre les sorties des épisodes, force est de constater que l'investissement demandé est pleinement mérité à la vue de ce qui est proposé par ce pack de DLC. On y découvre de nouveaux ennemis, de nouvelles situations stressantes et des phases de plateforme intéressantes. On ressent une réelle empathie avec notre personnage et au final, on a très envie de savoir ce qu'il se passera par la suite pour tous nos protagonistes. Il semblerait que le studio soit lui aussi très motivé pour nous apporter une suite à Little Nightmares. L'univers, l'ambiance mais aussi la trame scénaristique laisse présager de belles choses à découvrir que ce soit en prequel ou en suite logique. Pour résumer, j'ai hâte d'en découvrir plus et de voir ce que nous proposera par la suite Tarsier Studios.

You conclude the journey of the Runaway Kid as he enters the Lady's private residence. This DLC finally has something that resembles combat. Their are shadow children that you can fight by focusing your flash light on them, similar to Alan Wake. The puzzles are just as complex as the previous DLCs. Being the last DLC for this game you would think this would reveal more answers to this game's world but Instead this DLC answered a question that no one asked and raised even more questions. Good DLC but obvious sequel bait.[/td] [/tr] [/table]

  All in all a good DLC, but what did the producers think by adding a scene (talking about those annoying shadow boys) where you need to use WSAD, the arrow keys and your mouse at the same time? Do I look like I have 3 hands or do I need to use my nose for beating that part? Sorry for the thumbs down, main game is much better

Being so close to the exit- he tries to sneak past but arouses unwanted attention. Perhaps some things are not meant to be seen and some fates are doomed from the start. Lurking with exposition concerning the Lady and screams of her personality; traps, secrets. :) A bittersweet end that you kinda see coming but still really unprepared.
