  Normally really enjoy these games but even for me this was boring, Negative: - The camera is not placed in the head correctly so when jumping an moving you can go though your body / see where you neck should be, - Boring and repetitive game play - You cannot build your own stuff - no steam achievements Pros: - Game looks nice, - takes no brain power at all

  I recommend it but it's kinda buggy.. I've had a lot of strange things happen. I've gotten stuck. Indicator to pick up things disappeared. I had to restart the Japanese house 3 times. It doesn't always place the boards in the right places. You can't reset yourself but you can sell or restart a level. There aren't a whole lot of houses to do yet but it is $15.00 Full price US dollars and I got it on sale probably, knowing me. I did enjoy it though and there's a bit of replayability to it. (prolly not a word but I like it) You can find things laying around, from tools to treasure items, so-to-speak. The crane was kinda crazy to operate but I eventually got a bit better at it right before I finished needing to use it. I recommend that as soon as you get a perk that you apply it so you can build faster or with more product. Each house is different. I liked that. On reloading the first house you work on plumbing, my plumbing was gone. lol It looked a mess so I hope that didn't affect resale value. With digging, it doesn't always remove all the dirt and when your house is already floored, the dirt will be inside the house like it's on the floor. :( Throwing things in the Green bin to get some money back is awkward. Some things go flying everywhere so check many, many, many, many feet away.. They really fly sometimes. Once I grabbed the scaffolding to move it and I saw that I was up in the air and I had no head, with my arms sticking out. What was that about? Some parts float in the sky. Some areas, if you walk too far, you'll reset back to the core area :) Gonna need to hit Z to see what highlights in blue to know what's next sometimes and don't walk away if you are screwing in a screw bc if you forget where it is and can't see it, lol, GL finding it again to finish screwing it in. I had that issue once. 2 story house. Each house seems to introduce something new. New styles.. And it won't always make sense but it's really fun to play. I think it has a lot of potential to become a fantastic building game!! I enjoyed mixing cement, pouring it and quickly placing things like panels and wooden floors, roof tiles.. etc. If you pick up bulk, you will sit down objects individually more than likely so prepare for a mess if you grabbed a crate of something and realize you don't need that. LOL You can always resell it (Green container) or try to store it somewhere (Justin Case). I prefer to sell it if it's bulk bc otherwise I make too much of a mess. Objects you place for decoration (Plants, tables, chairs, grill) can fall over if you bump it. You can pick it back up but too bad it falls over so easily. Hard to keep small areas looking nice. That's about all I can think of with my experience with this game. I found it a bit therapeutic though when it worked as expected :) Full rating is more or less in progress so we'll have to wait to see. If they keep updating this and fixing it (and don't start some crazy DLC stuff before they do), I'll fully recommend this game.. It just has to meet a few conditions for me to be okay with fully recommending something.

  I am a huge fan of House Flipper, VIscera Cleanup, Train Station Renno, Powerwash Sim, etc so this game is definitely something I thought I would enjoy. I did play it all the way through, and it has great potential. I do love the different building styles from different parts of the world, and the environment is beautiful. As it is now, I cannot recommend it for the price. Right now it is basically a "run from point A to point B" simulator. There really isn't much else to do but order, grab order from truck, run to house and place item, run back to truck, run to house and place item. Order next part, repeat. So no, I do not recommend it right now for the price.

  This game is fun. And I put in a solid six hours playing the game before writing my review. The Devs and programmers I do not feel understand how a house is truly build in what order. That is fine but some research could be helpful. After doing the igloo and the mud hut I was cut loose on a trapper house. Trying to build a log cabin I figured since I will have to use my knowledge of construction (Which I have built houses before) the game took me off the beaten path. Building exterior walls on a log cabin before the floor or foundation. On the Canadian house level Making me put insulation in before I put exterior walls in. Really not how a house is built. They also made me use insulation on interior walls. You really do not have to do that in less you want a really stuffy house year round. Tools often did not work for me. Stepping ladder in the Trapper house level got stuck in the floor. I had to restart the game. In the Japanese Cottage level the game just failed to show me what materials and what I am working on next. I had to close the game out and open it again because simply exiting the game and going back into it did not fix the problem. The Canadian modern house level. I could not use a nail gun till I restarted the game. I could not use the backhoe it would get stuck in the foundation holes. But what really got me is how the devs and who ever planned the game out would figure I would know how to build a house in the way they felt it should be built. When I read the message I would be on my own after the first two level I started following the order of operations I would if I was building a house. Maybe watch more HGTV or Youtube channels on people building their own homes or tiny houses and see how it is actually done and update the game. It could be a great game if I could choose paint for the walls, build or buy from the in game store things like front porches, gutters, driveway kits. etc. That Canadian house level I did not even complete the hose before It said it was done. I did not get to lay carpet or flooring, I did not get to paint the walls or add trim. I did not get to add interior doors or furnish the rooms. That really broke my heart. I might change my review and update it if the game devs actually consider what I said in place of letting me do a half assed job building homes.

  It's pretty fun and good. But I can't recommend: it keeps wiping my save progress. I've done the first few houses several times (involuntarily). I doubt I'll ever get to the later houses as something (updates?) seem to result in me starting from the beginning over and over... Also no steam cloud support (I guess given the saves disappearing this shouldn't be surprising!) This is truly disappointing as the building experience was quite new and quite interesting.

  It looks like there is only 4 houses to build so far and the Tea House requires beams that apparently don't exist. I spent over an hour looking for the 3 roof beams and even tried to buy them through the store but SURPRISE! Those aren't the particular ones you need either! If I hadn't spent so much time on the Trapper Cabin, I would have refunded this. Do I have to watch an advertisement movie to get the 5th house? Why? I've already paid for the game; why do I need to watch an ad for something that should already be part of the basic game? They're using cell phone app tactics on a game you've already paid for!

  It's ok. The gameplay is pretty repetitive, but that's part of the selling point. The UI is wacky and confusing, and the localization is godawful. If you've played anything else from this dev, though, you expect that. What's made me not recommend this game is the audio. The leveling is way off - some of the sound effects are like getting punched in the eardrum. The music loops are also incredibly repetitive - as you're drowning in a pile of infinitely vibrating boards that are stuck in the wall, you'll be treated to a Home Depot + Apple collaboration commercial. But, the final nail in the ear-coffin is the fact that Borat congratulates you after every stage of the house. wtf?

  This is a hesitant positive review, the game has potential, but it's far from finished. What I'd want to see for the rest of the game is a lot more content, as of right now, there's only about 10 hours of content. I don't know the extent of the Dev's ability, but I'd like to see a feature that allows us to make our own blueprints, maybe with preset elements, to build. This game has potential, but it's far from being worth 15 dollars.

  Beat the game in around 9 hours but I had a lot of fun playing it. In the beginning it has you measure things out, cut boards, and other tasks that make it feel realistic but then as you start to progress they lose that. That is my only complaint because I enjoyed the little realistic things like that even if it does take time. They are definitely on the right track though and cannot wait for more updates to come.
