  Don't have much experience with off-road racing/simulators but I think that giving this game a try was a great decision. Here's some of the things that, in my opinion, the game excels at: The controls are intuitive (although the way the vehicles control do take some getting used to) The tracks are varied, interesting and visually immersive Theres plenty of trucks and ways in which you can upgrade them (although hoping for visual customization options to be added in the future) I'd say give this truck simulator a go if you have the chance and you enjoy games in this genre! Just remember that the game can be a little difficult but the more patient and careful you are in approaching it the more rewarding the experience is going to be.

  I don't want to bash on this game for not delivering on every expectation because I believe in giving smaller studios a break for at least trying something new. Whether, they listen to our comments or not will determine if they do care about the player base so lets give them some time. This said, I didn't have too many expectations because it's a good way to be disappointed. I was interested in the game, graphics were good enough for me and I love truck games so I gave it a try. After playing a few hours, with my custom driving rig I built especially for truck simulators, there are a few things I was surprised not to see and since immersion is super important to me (hence the custom rig) it left me wanting a bit more. Here are my pros and cons PROS - I love the concept, having a game that's all about technical driving skills for heavy vehicles is refreshing - The physics of the suspension, tires and truck movement is pretty well done - The tracks are increasingly challenging and will teach you a lot about off road obstacle driving - The menu presentation is clean and simple CONS - The absence of force feedback in this type of game is almost criminal. - I would've liked to have a clutch also since a lot of these trucks do use manual gearboxes - I hope there will be more graphic options as I was totally unable to record any game play with the current setting being incompatible with my monitor setup -Engine sounds are SO important in a motorized vehicle simulator. The sounds need a bit of work to really do justice to the vehicles you are driving. Yes there are better graphics out there, but the game works, besides some FPS drop, its pretty stable, I know its sad to say, but these days, it's impressive in a game at launch. If you like the concept, stick around caus they got it right. What's missing in the game, can be added later I'm sure.

  Can't recommend this in its current state. I get that it's a lower price tag, but the performance and visuals are sub par. I'm running a AMD 7900 xtx, Ryzen 7 5800, SSD and 32 gb ram and it stutters, it's grainy and has low fps. I tried various graphical settings with little improvement. On the absolute lowest settings I would get decent FPS, but the visuals and pop in were pretty bad. Visuals aside, the wheel support is either broken, or just not sufficient. There is NO force feedback...that defeats the purpose of using a wheel. I couldn't map certain functions to the wheel either. I plan to let it sit on the shelf for a bit and hope for some improvements.

  The game has no force feedback at all so it kills the immersion. Apparently during the open beta people complained about how much force feedback was present so instead of making it adjustable they removed it. Imagine driving a truck over crazy terrain with zero feed back from the wheel? it makes the entire experience dull and confusing. The sound quality was another gripe. The quintessential turbo diesel sound is missing which kills immersion, and the map stinks. The trucks are modeled nicely but that's about all it has going for it. Sadly I would say avoid for now.

  I really wanted to like this game, hoping for Snowrunner but more detailed and a better sim but I just couldn't get to grips with the camera mainly and found it very frustrating trying to drive with either no vision or being blinded by a terrain object or the vehicles exhaust/smoke generator. That being said, while the game isn't to my taste it runs very well and graphics are nice, I didn't hit any bugs in my albeit short play time and if you can get over the (imo) dodgy camera movement then you'd probably really enjoy it. For me though it's a pass.

  The game has easy-to-understand mechanics and an effective tutorial to assist in learning the game. It also automatically picked up my wheel and pedals and offered various presets for controls, allowing custom setups for personalised experiences as well. The driving feels responsive, and the mechanics are realistic. It also offers a diverse driving system that allows for the player to adapt to different environments and eliminates the blandness of other off-road games. There is good progression with unlocking new vehicles and a nice open world to explore in various environments to keep you busy. The game ran smoothly, with few frame drops.   After played this for another hours, I decided a edit to give it a positive review.

  At first I gave a negative review, that time I did not get used to this and used wrong graphics settings, result in the lagging, then someone remind me to set some setting to low and after I set, it ran much better. For the handling, I use Xbox series controller, but that does not matter, this game is just need some time to get in, and if you just want another Snowrunner, do not buy it, it has a huge difference and you will not enjoy it, see it as a new kind of simulator, you will find it fun to play. So finally, this is a good enough work after city bus manager, in my opinion. Hope Aerosoft bring more GOOD sims to us.

  I mean, if you make the game about and only because of enjoying the driving in harsh environment, it have to have the force feed back, huh? Not even talking about the game doesnt recognize my TS-PC paddle shifters to bind the shifting... Beta state graphics optimalization.. im sorry

  Great Game for True Off road trucking enthusiasts.
