  i'm big fan of goosebumps series and i was so hype to play this game but sadly they took Goosebumps night of scares mobile app and they add more level and stories . this game is not challenging do you believe i finish the game without dying lol this game made for kids only and the price are not worth it even. i know people they gonna tell me Goosebumps series are for kids but i mean Goosebumps : the game point and click it was hardcore to finish it so i think are better than this even they are random glitches you have to restart last checkpoint . here is pros and cons list for me pros 1- story 2- graphic are acceptable 3- soundtracks 4- fps cons 1- you can finish the game in 2 hours or less 2- there is no extra things 3- no trading cards 5- in store pages they said there are Subtitles like arabic or others but when you go to sitting there are no Subtitles so it was fake my final rate are 5 out 10 sorry i have to give like just because i love Goosebumps series . btw every year i go to books event in kuwait to buy Goosebumps books or items

  Having to write this review hurts me, I am incredibly disappointed by this game. I am a big fan of Goosebumps as a whole (my profile picture should be an indication of that) don't get me wrong, but still. There are a lot of things wrong with this game, and I should explain why along with explaining some of the pros. Pros 1. Smashing the lawn gnomes was satisfying, especially when you throw them at other gnomes or directly at the monsters 2. The second chapter was atmospheric and is easily the best level in the game for me. Also Dr. Brewer was done well in this game. 3. It isn't just a complete copy-paste of the mobile game. Thank god that it has some original ideas. 4. It could be entertaining for younger fans, or people who are big fans of the movies. 5. Despite its flaws, it is a hell of a lot better then a number of games, and it isn't just some piece of shit like Yandere Simulator. Cons 1. The price. This game is not worth 40 bucks, at all. 2. The graphics. While it didn't hurt to look at for me (because I have seen a lot worse), it looks ugly, it looks like a Playstation 2 game. 3. The overall difficulty. This game is very easy. The monsters are easy to avoid (I.E. You can simply walk away from them), the puzzles were easy to do that a child can likely do them, albeit the ones in the last chapter were more challenging. 4. The length of the game. I've beaten this game in less then 5 hours, hell people have beaten this game around 50 minutes. 5. The general concept. This is more of personal issue, but I don't like the concept of this game. What I mean by this is that it should have went off the books instead of the movies, the books were a lot scarier then the movies. I get this is suppose to be a kids game, but Goosebumps has always had creepy and controversial stuff in them, especially in the books. Yes the books had some goofy moments, but it still mainly aimed for fear. The movies were the exact opposite. I believe a lot of people would agree with me if I say the books would have been better source material for a SURVIVAL HORROR GAME. Seriously, I play this Garry's Mod gamemode called "Breach" and I genuinely get more scares on that then the entirety of this game. 6. A complete missed opportunity. This game had so much potential, A LOT, Goosebumps has many, many, MANY possibilities. A LOT of things could have happened that would have made this game awesome. But this game never exploited the fan service this game could have provided. Overall despite my personal enjoyment, this game was still a massive disappointment. I hope the people that are behind this will learn from this and fix it somehow. Or Scholastic will port both Goosebumps Escape from Horrorland and Attack of the Mutant to Steam, either one of those will be good.

  Pros: Goosebumps Pleasant Voice Acting (GG Jack Black) Probably pretty fun for young kids. (But for 40 USD?) Some good jump scares. Cons: No graphics options other than V-sync No resolution options. It's an obvious port from the mobile game. Not worth the $39.99 Price tag at launch.

  I'll admit, its definately fast. And despite that it just copied the mobile game, It's still a great one. If you ask me, I actually got very scared during the first part. I was pretty afraid of the jumpscares and when they chase you. And above all, this game is actually more terrifying than most of the Goosebumps games out there. For the mobile game, Goosebumps: Night of Scares, they actually got it very similar, but with a free roam mode, extra spooky jumpscares, and more other things that are just scarier. It was definitely satisfying to just watch Slappy's head roll on the ground at the end. This game actually gave me... goosebumps.

  this game is really fun but there is just one problem: its very repetitive. everything is in the same spot and the AI's always go the same way and act the same. which makes it easy but gets boring over time. every thing else is great though. keep up the great work!

  goosebumps dead of night is a game where you have to stop slappy. The game would be better if it had the abominable snowman of Pasadena in the final chapter and the giant preying mantis in the second chapter my favourite part in the game is when you fight slappy in the final chapter my least favourite part in the game is when slappy escapes from the book in the first chapter
