  The second expansion for Forza Horizon 4 is all about LEGO!... and it's a bit underwhelming. It introduces new tracks, LEGO-themed vehicles, and an entirely new region made out of LEGO. There's also a new gimmick where you build your own LEGO house by completing challenges that come with the expansion. The more challenges you complete, the more upgrades your house get. Unfortunately, these challenges are also my major gripes with the expansion. The challenges are just bland. Most of them are either repetitive or insanely grindy. You can't really ignore these challenges either as they're also the only way to unlock new events and activities. The challenge system stretches out what should be a 10-hour package into a 20-hour affair. For an expansion that is all about LEGO, there's not much novelty in terms of gameplay. It's still about racing fast cars, just in a LEGO environment. It's pretty much more of the same. If you're itching for some more Forza Horizon, then Lego Speed Champions is a nice distraction. Otherwise, just wait for Forza Horizon 5. 7/10

  it's a shame that Forza Horizon 3 was delisted as I would have liked to play/experience the Hot Wheels expansion before it was wiped from the internet but alas here we are and I have to say that Lego Speed Champions has to be one of the funnest Forza Horizon expansions to date. The introduction sequence is superb and the progression of the lego created island is spot on for such an expansion. I highly recommend purchasing Forza Horizon 4's Lego Speed Champions expansion however I suggest you purchase the expansion bundle to save money and to also experience the Fortune Island expansion otherwise wait for a sale ($11.98) to pick this up.

  This is a fun DLC which includes a bunch of new races and PR stunts in a LEGO-themed environment. Crashing through the LEGO environment is incredibly satisfying and the sound design of the LEGO objects breaking apart as you crash through them is superb. Other than the new LEGO challenges, which I found quite entertaining to complete, it's generally just more of the same, although that's not necessarily a bad thing. I do wish the entire map was LEGO instead of having some weird sections of normal terrain and obstacles and the destructible items that only appear at certain times were a bit annoying, but I had a good time with this DLC in general, so I'd recommend grabbing it if you're looking for more Forza Horizon 4 to play.

  Not worth $20, the sale I got it at of $7.99 still felt overpriced but a better buy.

  I love seeing the LEGO City come to life in Forza :D It was really fun driving in the LEGO City and there was surprisingly a lot to do.

  I absolutely love LEGO but man this DLC is severely lacking. You get a total of 5 LEGO cars, of which I only got 3 before completing all the races. What's the fun in a LEGO DLC if I don't even have a variety of LEGO cars to roll around in? I just used regular cars the whole time which was incredibly jarring, but I need that variety. Speaking of jarring, there are huge portions of the map that inexplicably use assets from the base game. So for example, you have LEGO trees interspersed with regular trees. The ground, clouds, and sky all look normal whereas the objects around you are LEGO. They should have just gone all-in. The dialogue seems to hint that you'll be building your own house. Which sounded really cool (if pointless in a racing game). But no, you just do challenges around the map and once you reach a certain milestone, an addition gets added to your house. No interaction at all. On the bright side, some of the tracks are really fun. I loved the speedway and the dunes area. The racing was great, but everything else is so lacking that there's no way I would recommend this DLC for full price.
