  i recommend this because its mashing sensory overload with some great visuals and also makes a couple jokes, the ones that dont land simply fly by while the visuals continue, worth experiencing. you should be able to replay levels at will though, the value of the game as an artpiece wont change if you can see them again.

  This is the first game to give me Dyad/Space Giraffe vibes since I've played... Dyad and Space Giraffe. Trippy as hell, eyes drying trying to pick through 50 different vfx looking for hoops. Lots of subtle mechanics going on in the movement that I really dig. Oh, and make sure to crank those settings as high as you can. Every pixel better be screaming while you play this game.

  Cons: - It had LOADS of levels, but they are very randomly generated, and when you beat the game, including the future content, you can't replay the game unless you get very luck each 9th of December. So you likely won't be able to play it anymore. - Text is often at very awkward angles/positions that can make it very hard to read at times in gameplay. - Game can get VERY intense, but if what you saw in trailers, and reviews doesn't bother you, then don't worry. Plus, it can be adjusted in a lot of aspects. Pros: - Stellar look of chaos and beauty. - Lots of self-aware ridiculousness in its audio and texts, which I always love. - G E T T H E H O O P S

  More games need to have the developer reading what all the option settings are on the screen and what they do.

  A unique game that is worth the entry price. There isn't much like it. But, it evokes memories of Antichamber, Star-Fox, and Rez. The joy of this game does really not come from a flat description of it. Each level boils down to "look at this cool shader I made" and you are forbidden from replaying a level you finished. (unless you do the to be shown, humorous, dec 9th challenge). It looks incredible and runs great. The humor capitalizes on the pacing. I think this is a game really anyone can play. Yet this will not be easy to stream..... I recommend this little gem. The only complaint I can think of is that I have no idea how to tell the difference between rebound and boost hoops. It's simplistic but takes advantage of that to a full, refined capacity.

  This game caught my eye a few years back at the Unity 3D Game Art Challenge Winners at GDC in 2018. I was blown away by the visuals that Bigpants was able to squeeze out of Unity (pestering him a bit to learn more even). I just finished up Season 2 on a 4k screen at a solid 60FPS and it's still an amazing technical feat. Visually, I put this in the same category as Llamasoft games such as Space Giraffe. It's visually overwhelming - but in a good way. I love the excessiveness of everything and how my eyes and brain struggle a bit to process it all. There are definitely moments where I just want to stare at the visuals instead of doing anything at all. Those amazing visuals are packaged up with some good audio that immerses you further into the experience, some unique gameplay (I want to get hoops and avoid everything, but once you start smashing things it really clicks) and some quirky glimpses into the mind of the game creator. I will definitely revisit and play a season at a time and take in the experience. I'm happy for Bigpants to have released this out into the world and hope that other players that enjoy these types of visual onslaughts will find this game and appreciate it too.
