  I've been waiting for this game to come out for a while! The concept is so cool and I'm a huge fan of The Sims and Stardew Valley. Right off the bat, I wish there were more character customization options. Hair colors, cuter faces, eye colors, etc. The thing w Stardew Valley that I loved was you had a color wheel to customize with. I want pastel pink hair because I can't have it in real life!! LOL A lot of the dialogue is suuuuper weird sounding. Character intros in particular are clunky. Everyone's like "Hi, my name is _. I am a _. I go to _." and it sounds like someone learning how to speak a language for the first time. It's distracting. It would sound more natural if it flowed and was like how people actually talk, I.E. "Hi, I'm Suzie. My friends all bow their heads to the corporate machine, but I'm a free spirit" or "Hey, friend. My name's Pepe and it's always been my dream to open Coffee and Smiles. Can I get you a sandwich or drink started?" rather than "Hi, my friend! I am Pepe. Coffee and Smiles was my dream, and I worked hard for it." (seriously, who talks like this?) The non-brick buildings feel like they need some sort of texture on them. The solid blank color fill looks jarring and unfinished. It also looks odd that trees/fountains/large objects have feathered/blurred shadows while characters have solid pixel shadows and signs/fire hydrants have no shadows. I would make them all solid to match the visual style across the board. There's also a visual glitch where Megan's legs disappear and reappear on the other side of the office, and the streetlights in the park do not come on soon enough when it's night time. It goes pitch black before they pop on and that's not how street lamps work irl. They come on when it's about 50% light out. Overall I'm looking forward to where this game is going! This is obviously just early access, so it still feels very much in-progress.

  So far so good, I'll be updating my review as I spend more time in the game, From what I got so far the game looks very promising, it can seem a bit clunky at times. For example the character customization could be heavily improved by adding more options and maybe a color wheel that could help out a lot. The art style is beautiful and the open world aspect of the game is great, there's tons of exploration to do, if the game keeps getting updates to improve and fix some of the issues I would absolutely recommend it for people that enjoyed the Stardew Valley gameplay but in a cityscape with a more in-depth storyline. Since this game is in Early Access I recommend you buy it after a couple of more updates, or buy it now and try it out for yourself. 7/10

  I thought it had potential to be a good game and maybe it does, but... Unfortunately, it appears as though the developers have abandoned it and in it's current state, I wouldn't recommend it.

  Barely made it through character creation. The character options are very limited and the faces were pretty horrid looking, although it does look better once sized down to the in-game character. The writing is awkward and poorly translated, the controls are confusing, and scene transitions were confusing and sudden. There also seem to be a number of bugs with text layout on the screen. I'm still intrigued by the concept, and will give it a try again once it's had time to work out some issues, but as of right now, it's very, very rough even for an early-access game.

  Why is this game so hard to play? This is not a difficulty assessment, it's the amount the glitches that it has.

  Mouse support has been added but I still can't recommend this game. I tried to play it a little and I came across so many bugs with the UI, still needs too much work. I wanted to delete my old character and start fresh but was unable to, it appears there is no option to delete a character or start a save file over. When making your character the arrows left or right that are suppose to change options do not work properly, doesn't matter what arrow you click the options still cycle forward and it's frustrating. During dialog the F key only works some of the time, most times you have to click the mouse over and over again instead of just tapping F. There is no option for fullscreen, just boarderless and windowed, this means that when I learn crafting recipes or something like that the information bubble pops up completely off screen. I can't even play the game long enough to figure out if any of the changes or the mouse support was worth the wait, I really wish I could refund this game because I have given up on waiting for the developers to fix it.

  I'll preface my short review with the idea that I really enjoy Simulator and RPG games. I waited for a few months for this game to come out watching development and I am slightly disappointed with the game in its current state, as it feels empty. Cool idea, consistency in design is cool, but the game is clunky and haphazard as is. I kept wondering what else there was to do, but most of the time it's "farm stuff like early beta Minecraft while you sleep and features are disabled" alternating with "find money to buy food and train skill interests, since conversations are slow and skills autofill people's friendship bar." Thus far, don't recommend, but I really hope it pays off in the long term. 4/10 as is. Will update if the game improves later.
