  What a disappointment. The whole LEGO theme is just really weird. It's like they ran out of time or budget halfway through. Most of the map is not made of LEGOs and while it's not uncommon in LEGO games, it just feels so weird here. You have a forest made of normal trees and then there's a few LEGO trees for whatever reason. The ground isn't made of LEGOs. Except when it suddenly is. The audience is LEGO minifigures. But but the people driving around the map don't drive LEGO cars. In fact, no one does. It feels really weird to do that alone myself, so I also didn't drive one. Not that there is many of them to begin with. Also no customization whatsoever, which kinda ruins the whole LEGO theme. It just begs the question that did LEGO Company pay the creators of this game to be included here for advertisement? If so, I'd say it wasn't worth it because I sure don't feel inspired to buy any LEGOs after playing this. If anything, this DLC highlights the fact that you can't do everything you want with them. And if it was the other way around, it's still weird. Why did the creators pay the LEGO Company for a licence and then barely use it at all? Also the gameplay is annoying. The events are gated behind this minigame of building your own LEGO house (which you obviously can't customize in any way). That's fine and that's pretty much how the basegame and Fortune Island also works but it's soooo slow. In the base game and FI you can pretty much ignore all the stuff you don't care about and progress through with events alone. Here it feels like you have to play the same races a hundred times or engage with the minigames on the map. It's nice if you happen to like the map but I didn't (for reasons mentioned above) so I just quit. While Fortune Island wasn't without its flaws I was still left feeling like I got my money's worth. With this DLC I'm left feeling regret that I bought it (luckily with a discount). The little LEGO animals hopping away from your car was a fun little touch (you know, the fact that they hop since their legs can't move) and beyond adorable, so there's that, at least.

  I love seeing the LEGO City come to life in Forza :D It was really fun driving in the LEGO City and there was surprisingly a lot to do.
