  this is the type of game i dreamed of making as a small child. it invokes that feeling when your looking out a car window imagining mario jumping from fence to fence as your drive by the landscape. its just so good and raw and pure and classic but at the same time nothing really tried to it anywhere near like this before. the musics great. the controlls feel wonderfull. this game is amazing.

  [h1]Clustertruck.[/h1] [i]Just my kind of clusterf*ck![/i] [b][u]The Bumpersticker[/u][/b] Clustertruck is a high-octane, frenetic, responsive, and chaotically enjoyable first-person platformer. The game, oversimplified, is about running and jumping across levels filled with obstacles, on which only large semi-trucks are safe to come in contact with. Its single-minded tactile fun, and it’s unapologetic about it, much in the vein of games like DOOM (2016) or SUPERHOT. Clustertruck takes speed, skill, polished level design – and big explosions – and wraps them all together into one hell of a ride. [b][u]The Trailer[/u][/b] Clustertruck’s campaign is short and sweet, yet packed full of quality. Each progressing level introduces nuances that keeps the game difficult, but never infuriating. In this sense, every stage is a puzzle, and it’s the player’s objective to solve it in the fastest, most wicked way possible. As you jump from truck to truck you build momentum, which, when combo’d correctly, can send you hurtling at ridiculous speeds past several obstacles. This speed, however, will only make it harder to land on the next truck with precision. There are abilities to earn with style-points as well, such as the power to slow down time, or use a grapple hook to catch yourself from a level-restarting fall. This spattering of mechanics allows you to be creative in your approach, and are what fundamentally drives the gameplay. [b][u]The Cabin[/u][/b] Though not the most fun or inventive game [i]ever[/i] made, Clustertruck certainly holds its own as a one-of-a-kind gameplay experience. There are other elements I could have mentioned, such as the graphics, the soundtrack, or even the competitive element of the game. But none of those are the reason you should play Clustertruck. The reason to play Clustertruck is that it’s good old-fashioned video game badassery, and that’s getting pretty rare these days. [h1]Personal Rating: 8.5/10 – Truly Great[/h1]

  Just beat "Clustertruck". What an absolutely phenomenal game. I have been following it's development since alpha when it was called "Super Highway Fight Squad" (glad they changed the name, isn't as catchy lol). For a game that is relatively simplistic in design, run on trucks don't touch the floor, it is INCREDIBLY polished. The soundtrack is full of great peppy synth and rock ballads, the graphics are smooth and pleasant, the controls are tight, and there are a ton of levels. 80 in fact. Oh, and there is an extremely robust level creator which I am very excited to see the user created content for in the Steam workshop. If you are looking for a fun, challenging, and bonkers game look no further than CLUSTERTRUCK EDIT: Oh, and use abilities as little as possible. The game is much more fun and challenging without them.

  This may be my favorite "rage" game ever. The controls are crazy responsive, everything feels smooth, and finishing a level just feels so rewarding! I've played many games like this before and usually I start feeling frustrated or irritated, and mostly it's because the game just tries to be ridiculously impossible. But when you fail here, it feels like only you're to blame, and it feels like more of a challenge to beat it rather than frustration. This game also offers incredible replayibility, since there are 100 levels. And the more you play, the more abilities you unlock, which makes it even more enjoyable going back and replaying previous levels.
