  Whoever made this DLC can make fallout 5, on the other hand the people who made the DIMA puzzles should be fired.

  Top notch DLC. This one's got it all. New map and locations to explore. New enemies. New mutated creatures. New animals. New recipes. New weapons. New ammo. New armors and outfits. New traps to watch out for. New plants and ingredients to scavenge. New items to build in settlements. New followers. New storyline and missions. New game mechanics. New perks. New environmental threats. New vaults. New everything. This is the Bethesda DLC we know and love.

  Pros: - The BEST soundtrack, like, ever. HAUNTING soundtrack. Bravo Inon Zur. - Great atmosphere - An engaging story with decent characters that forces you to make some hard choices. Much better than the base game. - Lots of secrets to explore, and some fun weapons. Cons: - If you fear crabs, beware this DLC. There are crabs in places you will not expect. I'm serious. If you have any bad feelings towards crabs, either stay PRECISELY on the path the game guides you on, or be severely over-leveled and bring heavy weaponry. If you see a crab, do not engage it directly. The crabs are so f****** scary. They will f*** you up. Set like 50 mines between you and the crab. Throw your most powerful grenade at the crab while crouching for sneak damage bonus, then empty the clip on your biggest long-range gun and start f****** backpedaling. F*** the crabs. - This is not a bulletpoint of a con this is a cry for help i think the crabs are coming for me please i dont have much time left before th

  The DLC had better RPG elements than the base game. Your choices actually mattered and affected things on a larger and more noticible scale. 9/10

  1. Buy Fallout 4 2. Buy Far Harbor 3. Get to level 15 (OPTIONAL) Get good weapons and gear 4. Travel to Far Harbor 5. Experience a better game than Fallout 4 (not that Fallout 4 is horrible) Seriously trust me, Far Harbor feels like it's own game. It has a perfect atmosphere, a good story, AMAZING music, side quests, new enemies, new weapons and gear, a new map that is probably twice the size of the Glowing Sea and overall is just a fun survival experience. But when you arrive and the folks talk about how the people in the Commonwealth have it easy, they ain't kiddin'.

  Honestly, I feel like this DLC is worth it on a sale. The DLC is somewhat interesting (although I find it disappointing that the fog doesn't act like the red cloud in Dead Money from Fallout New Vegas. Personally I think it would've been cool if maybe you would hallucinate, or your perception and agility would suffer.) The enemies felt like the same cut and paste enemies from the vanilla game, the factions weren't all that interesting, and the environment looked way too similar to the base game and even Point Lookout from Fallout 3. The weapons were kind of cool, although most felt like basic reskins of vanilla weapons. The story wasn't interesting, simply put. The characters were meh. Overall, this DLC was a missed opportunity, but I'd still give it a 6.5/10 simply because I did find it relatively enjoyable.

  Far harbor shows that Bethesda tried to lisen to there fans and fix alot of the problems that Fallout 4 has. Of course the Dlc can't fix all of the major problems such as no skill points, bad rpg elemets, dialog wheel and bullet sponges but it has fixed the no choice/ no evil options problem that was present through the majority of Fallout 4. In this dlc your decisions actually seem to mather for once. The dlc has several different endings and the side quests are not all go there get/ kill that return and get paid but of course a majority still are. The main quest is pretty long and the side quests are quite many for a dlc. It appears as if Todd actually didn't lie about this dlc being one of there biggest map dlc's, it is quite huge. The dlc adds a loot of new enemis, loot, crafting and chemistry/ cooking stuff. The main quest is interesting and is not as predictable as the main quest in Fallout 4. You often have different options in dialog throughout the main quest line and some of the side quests. The map is gorgeous and has alot of fun hidden garden gnome, skeleton and teddy bear poses just like in the main game. I also enjoy how the dlc builds on the lore of synths and children of atom. The bad parts in this dlc can not only be blamed on the dlc but rather on the design of Fallout 4 as a whole. Unfortunally some of Fallout 4s elements has an effect on the joy that the player can get out of the dlc. One of the major problems are that some of the enemies are extreme bullet sponges. An enemy called the shipbreaker took me about 10 to 15min to kill while constantly shooting it in the head with an exploding gauss rifle and using critical as much as possible on very hard difficulty. Alot of regular enemies such as anglers and trappers can also withstand alot of damage. In the end it didn't feel like I had a choice of what weapon to use in combat since the only option was the weapons that did any damage to the enemies ( Gauss rifle and harpoon gun ). Combat such as that is not fun nor challenging it is only boring and drawn out. However if you play the game on an easier difficulty or has leveld up your character to hand out extreme damage that should not be a problem. As a person that loves the Fallout franchise and played all the games, I was quite dissapointed by Fallout 4 but this dlc is pretty great and even though it doesn't fix all the problems that makes me not like Fallout 4 atleast it fixes some of the ones it can. This dlc is definetly a step in the right direction by Bethesda and I hope they will continue like this. The price tag feel like it would be optimal at around 15 to 20 euro of course if you absolutly love Fallout 4 you might as well pay full price because you will probably love this dlc. If you absolutly hate Fallout 4 but still wants to try this dlc, you might want to wait untill it is cheaper.
