  Another absolutely uninspired VS clone. It's an asset flip (you can find those assets in numerous other games). There is no synergy in skills or upgrades. They act completely independently of each other and don't benefit from each other. All the skills are also extremely common, boring, and re-used hundreds of times already. The main issue that led me to write this review tho is the enemies' hitboxes. They are completely out of place. I'm constantly dying from bosses while being 3-4 hitboxes away from them. It's not worth your time. And mine, too.

  Alright, so I think I can safely talk about this game without people giving me flak. I, as of the time of this review have played until I have 85% of achievements and the last 3 are just grind and hold gold. I say this because of Early Access and things change. [h1]Is this game good?[/h1] Not really. There are things to like but it's all saddled with bugs and missing content. [h1]Whats good about it?[/h1] The fact that you can keep collecting and keep growing your build. It pretty much doesn't stop. You can very easily destroy everything if you collect enough skills and level them up. Working towards the unlocks are weird but gaining new skills is always a plus. It also doesn't require remembering evolutions in the slightest. You'll just randomly gain the fancier version after a boss chest. Passives here just keep stacking seemingly infinite until stated otherwise. [h1]So, why is the game bad?[/h1] It's a bit hard to explain unless you played Vampire Survivals but there are many reasons I think the game needs work. Firstly, the game isn't smooth as time goes on. It very quickly starts to lag or stutter. I noticed it stops entirely if you remove "Floating Text". Yay frames! The menus are fairly terrible. Settings has VERY little settings and while there are sliders for the audio, they currently don't work at all. Scrolling in the unlock menu doesn't scroll via the mouse wheel very fast at all. I always have to click and drag the scroll bar downwards. The game doesn't highlight selections and often has a weird pause before moving menus. Even hitting ESC while playing sometimes doesn't register for a good few seconds Or requires you to hit it twice. The mouse is hard to see while doing most things in the game. A number of sound effects are higher or lower than others. There is the lightning sword that it's sound effect is FAR too loud and ends up being annoying after 20+ minutes of it. A number of text descriptions are either too wordy and slightly confusing or just poorly worded entirely. Chests, Exp, Food, etc can SPAWN OUTSIDE the boundary areas. Why? Because you can kill enemies OFF screen and outside your boundary area. Even better, CHEST that are open close to a "wall" can end up displaying the items into it and results as an empty chest. In V.S. each upgrade is useful and impacts your surviving. In P.S:R it feels like everything takes double the time to achieve the exact same thing and often results in very lackluster upgrades. In some cases, said upgrades are hardly an improvement. Energy Ball is so bad that even after upgrading it 6 times it still did less damage than the flying Spear attack at rank 1. Look at Dynamite, the upgrade that increase the amount thrown often breaks and doesn't increase for a while. I've gotten a +3 thrown and it didn't give the increase for 2 minutes. And if that wasn't bad enough the "Increase explosion range" is only EVER so slightly bigger. You have to get it multiple times before the explosion is big enough to care about. As a whole, P.S:R forgets what is enjoyable from these V.S style games: making builds that help us deal with the overwhelming groups of enemies, improving our list of passives, unlocking new characters and abilities. It holds no mystery of how to unlock anything. The maps are weird to navigate and have no secrets. There are no achievements for many things you'd think there would be. The only thing it adds is the fact that your build goes endlessly because chest items.

  Actually pretty sweet VS-like game, that does its own thing. It just needs a bit of a polishing regarding sound effects and I'd appreciate if the HP bar of the character got some improvements as well, because sometimes I can't tell how much health I have and that makes me die outta nowhere, because of a big enemy or a hord of small ones. But otherwise this game's pretty enjoyable for an early access and a game that you can buy for not even two euros.

  After playing vampire survivors 400h, I looked into clones of the game. This is possibly the best game following in VS's footsteps.

  For the price, the game actually isn't too bad. Once some of the issues gets fixed it going to be a nice alternative to VS. Some of the issues/problems I currently have seen: - If you open your backpack to see what upgrades you have then close it, the UI sometimes bugs out and leaves the bag icon/upgrades on your cursor so you have to re-open it and try to move over some icons until it disappears. - When there's quite a few enemies on screen and some skills going off, the FPS drops quite a bit. - The health bar is way too small, sometimes you can't even see your health so you just end up dying. - The game just stops responding for like 2-3 seconds when starting a map or even changing some of the settings like the audio etc.

  Don't waste your money, feels like a cheap and rushed VS clone with assets that are uninspired. The game it self, feels clunky and the gameplay loop is quite boring.

  This is one of the best bullet hells I've tried so far and I've tried a lot on Steam. It's simple, but has a lot going on to keep you entertained throughout the run. Along with collecting the normal exp orbs and heal items, you can also collect coins for buying permanent boosts, items for making pets, and the treasure chest system is challenging but fun. Each character was fun to play at least once. Unlocking characters and skills was fun because it wasn't the same for each character. Nothing really felt like a huge grind. I was able to unlock almost everything so far in 20 hours of gameplay. I've only got 2 things left to achieve full completion. Well worth the small price tag. I also plan to eventually delete my files and replay it for the fun of it. I sincerely hope they create more content, but as it stands I am satisfied with my purchase.

  I own 7 games that are inspired by Vampire Survivors and this is the worst one. The entire gameplay loop is run around in a circle and occasionally upgrade your character. To be fair that kinda is the core of most of these games but most games offer at least something that makes their game unique or interesting. I couldn't find anything unique or interesting in this game, the upgrades and abilities are as bland as they can be. Every single character wants the same kind of upgrades because a lot of percentage based stats are stacked multiplicatively, so if you keep stacking enough of a single stat it will snowball out of control. Most notably you want to stack as much bonus exp as possible because on top of getting a lot more levels there also is a bonus to health and damage for leveling up. Also all the art comes from asset packs, the music probably too. I wouldn't quite call this an asset flip but it is not far from it. Even if the developer puts a lot of work into this game I don't think this can ever be considered good.
