  I am writing this review for people who are familiar with this series. For those who are not, I will give a quick summary: Play Alien Shooter Revisited or Zombie Shooter instead. Much better games. One of the two latest entries into the Alien Shooter franchise, this game is based off of the engine for the first game. Graphics are about the same as the first Alien Shooter 1 based games due to massive asset reusage. This is not a problem in and of itself, but something to note regardless. Music wise, it's the same tracks that get reused throughout all of the Alien Shooter games, and frankly, I'm tired of them. *Please*, get new music. Or remix the tracks. Something, anything. What's new, you ask? Well, a new turret mechanic has been added. You can hold up to six turrets, depending on your Strength stat, and lay them down at any time. Well, it's supposed to be at any time. I've found the key sometimes just doesn't work. The turrets are usually helpful, but for the first two levels they're not great. They upgrade automatically as you go along in the game. No need to find upgrades or purchase them. So, why am I giving this a bad review? It's simple. the difficulty balance is off. On Normal, I couldn't beat the game. A first for a series veteran like myself. So, I tried Easy. Still couldn't do it. Then, I tried Casual and I was finally able to beat it. The last two levels are just too damned punishing. Somehow, they finally made a game with too many enemies. You just don't have the firepower to keep up! The turrets also don't do enough damage later on if you're on higher difficulties than Casual. The levels are also bad. They're just kinda boring now, little mazes with seemingly no rhyme or reason to them. Very small, too. Combine all of that with much worse level design and the music overuse being so severe that it has become grating on the ears, well... Just buy Alien Shooter Revisited or Zombie Shooter if you don't got 'em. They made a free game long ago with the same engine, Theseus: Return of the Hero. That one's pretty decent too. If you've already played those, upgrade to Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded or Zombie Shooter 2 or Alien Shooter 2: The Legend. This is definitely the worst game they've put out. I'm sad. Actually sad. I was hoping this game'd be decent. :( I don't have high expectations for these games. I know what they are. They're solid but nothing super special. But most of 'em still got a place in my heart for being so single focused on a goal: killing as many monsters/zombies as possible. And this game just prevents you from doing that eventually. It's sad.

  Another game in the Alien shooter franchise. Literally everything is recycled from previous games. Only new thing is the ability to pick up and drop powerful turrets. Because of the new turrets the weapons have been nerfed, except the pistols which seem to have been buffed for some reason. Oh, there is a new final boss enemy that's super tough. Right now almost all the achievements are glitched so I've had to get my friend SAM to unlock them, and leaderboards don't seem to work. If you love the Alien Shooter franchise and want more, go ahead and buy this. Otherwise play the other games first.

  Alien Shooter Last Hope was a fun game at first. Then late game the issues of this game being a poor port of a mobile game became more and more obvious. there are dead zones where you can NOT aim and shoot your weapon. I try to shoot enemies from the top right corner with the magma cannon and I cant because the weapon selector is in the way. If it wasn't for that it would be worth the $5, but I had a good bit of situations where my weapon would just stop shooting and it just became frustrating. Also the final boss is one of the most bullet spongey things I have ever faced in my life. Tough one to recommend.

  Honestly don't get the positive reviews, the game is just horrible. It's a bad PC port of a mobile game, they didn't even bother to rename the prompts (eg tap here to proceed). Enemy spawning is completely broken. Rather than work its way up to hordes and different types of enemies, it just throws insane numbers of enemies and the turrets do nothing to make the experience any more pleasant. Even using cheats, it's a chore to play. Sigma Team should stop rehashing the same ideas and instead make Dino Shooter.

  this is the first newer sigma team game i have played and it plays almost exactly like the original alien shooter that came out back in 2003 with some minor improvements new levels and a new gimmick. what was really good about this game was how they changed some of the enemies from the original game to make them more effective and to mix it up a bit, and the new turrets are essential to play this game if you dont use them you die. and what was not very nice about this game is that it reuses almost all the assets from their older games with almost nothing noticeably new apart from a big acid barrel a new weapon for a enemy a new boss and the turrets, all the music is reused except for maybe 1 new track? other then that new track everything is pretty much the same from ASV. the ui in this game is entirely designed around mobile games which is not very pleasant because this is a PC PORT. but then again its just $5 so its not a bad deal so go for it if you really want.

  It is a 2021 Alienshooter game, and yet Sigma team won't allow players to select missions in Campaign mode.

  I really,really,really like the AlienShooter series，It occupied most of my childhood and most of the rest of it，I bought the PC version as soon as I knew it would hit the shelves in the wee hours of the 7th.Now i pass the game,It's a good process. New monsters, new sound effects, new props,new resolution,weapons optimize,these are all very good.The large turret was equipped with a ballistic,you can aim better.But it sounds more like a machine gun XD,not as shocking as it used to be.Anyway, this series is still great,I like it forever. But there is another problem, that is the boss.Boss is too weak!Enough firepower but not enough shock.That's the most powerful monster!It will destroy all humans with monsters!But I don't feel that way. I think the most powerful boss in this series is the boss of [Alien Shooter-The Experiment].It's fast enough, powerful enough,one shot one kill (to the little monster XD....and me).It has two plasma cannons,very fast rate of fire and firepower.There's always a bunch of monsters moving with it, like a monsters king!The screen trembles every time the gun is fired!OMG It's so cool!!! This is also my favorite expansion!! If there is a dlc, I would like to refer to [The Experiment].Boss has plasma cannons, missile and laser three in one, cannons launch missiles after launch(like a Rocket Nest),use the laser as you approach,and yell from time to time.This should be cool. Another question is why can't qe switch weapons,it's not convenient.Hope to add.Thank you Sigma team!Thanks for this game.

  Its an nice game but too short and very easy.For a longer game and a more challenging experience i suggest you to play it on very hard and i also think that the new turret should get a small improvement because it does small damage and its not that good.I also didn't find any bug or glitch until now.It will also be awesome if Sigma Team adds trading cards.
