About the Game

"Void's Calling" - is a visual novel game with RPG elements where every decision you make can drastically change the course of game's story. The game now contains QTE and combat system is more complex than in Episode 1. Be aware that Episode 2 is very different from Episode 1 in terms of game mechanics.

The story continues. Forlan will meet a lot of new faces, experience new things and go through an array of challenges. Sometimes it's not an easy task to figure out who's your enemy and who's your friend, especially when your life depends on it.

In the second episode we will reveal new dimensions of the World: mysterious forests and rivers, dangerous and enigmatic mountains. Fate will bring Forlan to a lot of new places but his main goal is always the same; he's there to make sure his close and loved ones are safe from the imminent threat hanging above everyone's head.

An eternal fight between heart and mind, debt and feelings, cowardice and courage. Every step he takes brings him closer to the point of no return with only two possible outcomes, victory or death.

And only you can help to either save or destroy this World...

To be Pure isn't always about having clean hands. If you decided to become a mage's hunter, you'll see all sorts of things, shitty and bloody things. You just can't sit idle knowing that the high art that was prohibited by a royal edict can easily cause disturbance to the world's harmony crafted by the Almighty and let Void enter our realm, can you?

Lone warriors, led by mysterious Call and who go under the name of The Pure Ones, travel around the continent, always looking for those who decided to violate the world's harmony with the help of their "wonderful" gift. It doesn't mean a thing whether they're doing it out of selfish motives, simple curiosity or desire to help everyone.

A man or a woman, all the same. The punishment is inescapable. No mercy for no one! No mercy for no one!

Forlan is only 32 but he's already seen a lot and it may seem like he's up to anything the world can throw at him. However, at one point he stumbles upon a small town called Krazengoph while following the call of Void, that place turns out to be a real test to the hunter's abilites since Void has already wormed its way into the citizens' souls and poisons them, effect similar to post-mortem poison.

To find a sorcerer who broke the law in the town, citizens of which are slowly but steadily losing their minds and are falling into the cesspool of madness and lust, isn't going to be an easy thing to do. Will the Pure One be able to cope with it alone or should he look for a help from one of the town's citizens? Not matter what turn these events might take, there's one thing to be sure of. Forlan will never be the same after visiting this town, Krazengoph...

What have they done to the game,I loved episode 1 but this seems like a half done mess, Half of the locations when you select them say under construction. Taking bandages after a fight don't do anything and you don't seem to be able to go back to the Inn to sleep to recoup. In one section I got into a fist fight and there are no instructions on how to fist fight. Hopefully they plan to add some more content to fix this mess later on but in its current form the game is just a mess and wouldn't suggest buying till they fix it.

I only feel pity for Forlan. Exercise is good, but he can't do that now. He wants to go to the castle but now he can't. He wants to go to Elana's room but can't do that too, he also just wants to walk and fornicate with masked women in the streets but can't do that anymore. And the story says he moves in with Llga.. but in the story, he can't even go home and sleep. The only good thing about episode 2 is that Londa has finally made sense. But that woman is ripping Forlan for 200 talens for something that should be free for all men. What a monster. And finally, I don't like Forlan speaking to me, I can't look straight in his eye that he would know how sorry I am for him. No man should ever go thru all that pain. I would have made him my new minister of Wadiyan cultural affairs and the supreme procurer of women if he isn't so down on his luck. I hope the developer makes improvements and do away with the unwanted stuff. But for now, I can not give my approval. I would just go on with the thinking that you guys are taken by the rebels and was forced to release this game when its not ready yet.

Game still in "Early Access". Keep that in mind. Story is not complete yet but am waiting excitingly for updates. Devs added some nice new scenes from old encounters from Ep.1. Animations and art are exceptional, some even better than in Ep.1. However, Ep.2 suffers from a game disease that older games had which was called "QTE sections". Just a personal pet peeve of mine that was fueled by horrific experiences from other and older games that have horrendous "QTE sections". Also no information given on what to do in these "QTE sections" were given. No disrespect on whoever that loves "QTE sections", but please give me the options to skip those nightmares. Edit: Devs have given notice to give us the option to skip QTEs in future patch. Kudos to the developers!

After the first episode this is an utter disappointment. I hope that this is incomplete and we will receive an update. I feel short changed. If you're expecting anything like the first episode you should save your money. VERY VERY short game this time. It feels like they threw a half finished game up to make a quick buck. I wont be buying the 3rd episode, many of the paths were incomplete with a promise of more later. new combat is also lacking, and the quicktime events are lame.

I wasn't a big fan of part 2. It seemed very rushed and you cant do half the things you want because half of the stuff is closed off for future updates. Also the game just ends, not telling you that you have reached the end of episode 2, it just ends. very strange. It didn't flow as smoothly as episode 1 and they are dragging out the story line with Ilega too much. I need to marry her now!

Episode 1 was OK, not too heavy on mystic speeches and mini-games that could be skipped, so players who were adults when PC's were invented and have used mobile phones since they doubled as dumbells and still text using words could enjoy a quiet game making no physical demands. But Episode 2 is clearly aimed at children with quick reactions and no brains - who play porn games. Mandatory features involving clicking a cursor on high speed footprints will take away any enjoyment, bring in frustration and then anger that the child who "designed" this shit can expect anyone to pay money for it. So 2 hours of my life and money wasted.

After enjoying episode 1, I deeply regret buying episode 2. The original combat system was janky, but who cares? It wasn't a game to play because of the combat mechanics. But now episode 2 is a game to avoid because the combat system went from janky and ignorable to frustrating, irritating and not worth suffering through to get to the part that was actually good in episode 1, the story.

Could be a lot better, the QTE mechanics are a bit buggy at times yet the developer uses the excuse, "we want to be a differenty VN.", in no way is that the point that everyone is trying to make. There are other viable options other than QTE style interactions like rapid button pressing. At least then it would make for an easier time for those who are having trouble, however just ignoring the community that keeps you going and just making excuses is not how a developer should present themselves. Early access or not there is not enough content for it to even be called a game, early access is usually a time for feedback and listening to the people that BUY YOUR GAME. Atleast have a general storyline to build off of that can keep the audience engages instead of just cutting off at the end of the current unfinished content such as a small cliffhanger to keep us wanting more. The first episode had its quality twists and turns as well as decent number of branching paths when it comes to love interests however this episode is quite terrible and very linear. 3 hours for one piece of the story that ended abruptly and that is stretching it because I take my time trying all options before moving on. In it's current state I can't say I recommend this game to anyone unless you really just want something to do from boredom, but in no way should you expect a decent buildup for future updates. I usually don't review things because it doesn't help much however this developer needs to read into the community more instead of making unreasonable excuses. Compromise is important for any community to build off of feedback and idea exchanging, I won't jump to conclusions and say it's a complete waste of time to invest in this developer's work just yet, but be careful on how you spend your money here. I can't speak for everyone when I say these opinions, so I do apologize for any offensive words, but I mean it for nothing more than feedback.
