  This program can be infurating, but I find it works alot better than Xpadder for games because you can assign profiles to individual .exe files.

  This is a great program is you play older games that don't support controllers; set up your own controller button layout for your games. The Steam workshop integration makes this really seamless too, just subscribe to the mod or if you make your own, share with the community. I made one for the game Bully and it was really easy to do. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1126673854 Personally, I'm very much a keyboard & mouse person but I recommend this app for people wanting to use a controller for older titles.

  Works perfectly as expected. Also nice that it recognizes my swedish keyboard and shows swedish characters and stuff! Would be nice to see Linux support though!

  Summary: If you have some change to spare and are a gamer who likes being comfortable on the couch for non-keyboard games, STOP READING AND ADD THIS TO YOUR CART!! Necessary for the controller or couch based gamers. Period. Obviously, not made to be able to play keyboard-only games, but this eliminates the hassle of using a wireless keyboard or traversing to the desktop to make some KB+B changes. I personally have a Logitech TV730 for this problem (love it!) and have tried using custom controller schemes to take the reins of windows, but so far this is the simplest launch-and-use app I've seen. Simple. Creative. Works. I wouldn't pay for it, but to support the devs in finally--ephasis on FINALLY--making something like this, $3 is not a blood sacrifice to any diety. LOL Disclaimer: Is not for everybody. Is not for MMO players or programs and games that REQUIRE a keyboard. Only best for couch gaming a la console or laziness. Have only tried it with an XB360 controller, though, I do not see why other wouldn't work.

  Probably the best 3 bucks I ever spent. I know there are other ways to achieve this, but to have a way to use my 360 pad for web surfing, mouse-driven-non-controller-enabled games, watching tv shows from the couch, basically anywhere you wanted your mouse you can have your controller, and it's on Steam! This is what I needed in my life. It even has custom key bindings for buttons including a combination pressing of "back"+ which allows you to duplicate the controllers' functionality. AND! You can run it without having Steam time logged if you want, by having it launch at boot or just launching the EXE directly. I was going to say, "wow, now all we need is a way for it to stop being Controller Companion when I turn on a game" but it already does that by default. I just booted up a controller game and it behaves as normal when you are playing the game, and then when you quit back to desktop it goes back to being Controller Companion. Cool! Exactly what I wanted. Did some testing, whenever any game goes "fullscreen", it stops and lets the game take over your controller, but to override that and use controller companion you hold "back"+start and it takes over. So it will work with any application this way. Absolutely brilliant.

  Works well (Xbone controller). Helps with my arthritis in my left hand from gaming. Well worth the 2.99 I paid for it. Also makes useful for Hearthstone and some RTS game. 10/10 would buy again

  A fantastic application for users who prefer to navigate with their controllers. Works perfectly with my Xbox 360 controller. Controls are simple and easy to use with customizable key bindings. It also includes an interactive keyboard. More importantly, you are able to use your controller for games that do not officially have full-controller support. When in full screen, simply hit back and start at the same time. Do yourself a favor and pick this up if you love using your controller for almost all things while sitting comfortably on your chair or couch!

  I have a big monitor which I can watch movies on it whenever I go to bed, But I always wanted to have control the movie with my XBOX 360 controller like pausing, but windows itself with drivers didn't allow me to do that. I've been searching for an app to do the work, for example being like a remote control to control the movies I play, browse internet and check apps from a long distance. When I saw this app I said to myself this is the app I need. So I bought it and used and tested some stuff with it and guess what? Yup... this was exactly the app I needed. Really cool app + I highly recommend this if you have a controller and want to control your PC with it from a distance.
