  Fallen is A Ero-rpg maker game developed by Another Story and translated to native english by Kagura Games ( not to confuse with the more infamous machine translations by Sakura game) The story follows the adventures of the "Blazing Haired Makina" her Beauty and her skill with both magic and sword are well known throughout the land, her skills are feared, her fame wide as her A- ... well you get the picture, Makina, as some other adventurers, caught wind of some interesting rumors about the unexplored ruins of Gardona, apparenly these ruins are said to contain a great deal of Treasures and valuable artifacts, so she set off on a journey to explore them and reveal their secrets. The ruins are also infested by dangerous sex hungered monsters, many enter but very few comes out. Will she be able to successfully clear the Mysterious ruins and bask in glory and treasures or will she fail and fall prey to her own Lust? Find out in the next episode of Dragonball Zee! *Cough* Alright, now that we got the introduction aside let's jump straight to some good ol' pros and cons. ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆ Pros ❤️ Amazing Art style/Cg's : I decided to start by listing the biggest and best pro of Fallen, the art style it's STUNNING and you can immediatly see that the developers/artists put alot of effort on making the scenes look very easy on the eyes, Most importantly, the artist decided to put really alot of focus/effort on Butts, seriusly, if i would have to give only a vote on how butts are drawn in this game i would immediatly give the game a well deserved 10/10,, Fallen has the best drawn asses i've ever seen in a ero game, even Meltys quest, that i'd rate as a better game than this, doesn't even come close to the godlike quality of represented rumps Fallen has to offer. You'd think, all that perfection and cure to details must stop to butts, well you'd be dead wrong, this blessed artist is also pretty skilled in drawing some good ol' milkers, Huge ones or small ones makes no difference, this guy (or girl) has apparently no skill limits when it comes to representing the wonders of the female body. ❤️ Remarkable native english translation by Kagura games: I had to replay the game 3 times to prepare this review, and i have to say, the translation feels pretty solid, in my whole experience while playing Fallen, i only found a literal couple of spelling/grammar mistakes, minor oversights that are bound to happen while working on a long essay/script/review, nothing serious or gamebreaking. My regards on Kagura games for making such a good job on translating the game, and for taking on the project to begin with, they came out of nowere in a virtual world where we, as consumers, are constantly plagued by machine translated eroge games, Kagura games had to muster the courage to wage war to all the Abysmal machine translated games that have always plagued us since eroge games had seen the first (green)lights of steam.Props. ❤️ Easy mode A.k.a. the " i'm just here for the porn" mode: In Fallen you are free either to enjoy the rpg aspects of the game like fighting, grinding, leveling up, or you could just play like a casul and " buy your superpowers" kinda like batman :], anyway, the game wants everybody to be able to enjoy the game both casuals and normal people, so the developers made available a " level up shop" at the beginning of the game, right in the first dungeon of the ruins, by exploring the upper left side of the first map, the shop, as you have already probably understood, sells levels, 50 gold for every level, capped at 50 gold per level, considering you get 2000 gold at the start of the game you can literally hit max level at the beginning, the only performance difference will be the damage of the normal melee and skill attacks, but you can still just use magic and clear house with no problems, this has most likely been made to make it easier to complete a "pure" run to get the last hidden achievement of the game. Playing legit or scumming your way up it's completely up to you. What i personally did while playing was first playing a legit "Depravity run" and then i just bought levels to quickly complete the pure run ( differently from what we seen in Meltys quest, in Fallen a pure run doesn't really give you alot of differences, both gameplay and story wise, in a depravity run you get the option of fucking your way out of problems, while in the pure one you just use automatic brute force to obtain the exact same result) ❤️ Multiple Endings: to be precise, you got 2 main endings Good and bad, and you can chose to unlock 3/4 different bonus "after-ending" scenes for Makina and the chosen partner, no worries though, you will be always teleported back to the previous point after unlocking every single after-ending and ending choices ( this way you are able to keep resetting to get all the different endings/after-scense in one run) ❤️ Purity or Corruption: You have a choice, you can check your " Depravity counter" on the lower left side of your character's screen, depravity progression is capped on 5 points per lewd scene, ammassing large amounts of depravity will be necessary to unlock all the different scenes, nothing new or special, pretty standard, but ehi, it's there. ❤️ Cheap/low Price: Considering the High quality of both Art & Translation, this game it's really cheap, almost a bargain, also consider that right now, the only rare background of Fallen is currently valued at 15$ in the Market, wich means, getting a bit lucky with the steam badges/cards, you can effectively making the entirety of the spent money back, which basically means you'd be playing the game for free. ☆━━☆ Cons 💔Story is not boring but very linear: You got the hero, you got the bad guys, you got the main objective, nothing really unexpected happens, you can easily foresee stuff from start to finish, predictable and average but it still manages not to plummet into boredom. 💔 lackluster ero-gameplay: No job system/outfits, no battlef*ck ( for users that aren't familiar with eroges, "battlef*ck interactions are both moves animations and scenes that resolves themselves normally during or after the battling), no " defeat scenes" ( only on some bosses and they resolve into a bad ending, while, for example, in Meltys if you lose not only you get f*cked but you can actually get more class experience and you can even obtain rare items and preggo buffs by breeding with monsters, in Fallen you just get a " game over screen") limited/basic corruption system, no animations, lack of voices during scenes ( strangely enough, they actually had and used voice samples during a a couple of scenes but then they misteriously never used them again during the entirety of the gameplay) they could definitely have done better in terms of gameplayr, lots of missed potential in the end it isn't that bad but it isn't that good either, it just feels a bit unintuitive and mediocre. ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆ Final Verdict Fallen Does an amazing job on the graphic( art) side of things, this game is a literal A$s-men Heaven, If you like booty you wil definitely love Makina, seriusly Kurihara would be proud. On the gameplay side of things, however, it results a bit lackluster and it falls(ah!) into the average. Even so i highly recommend this game, firstly because the Art style is amazing, secondly because it has a remarkable native english translation( that you should support), thirdly because it's very cheap. [spoiler]If only Fallen had the same gameplay elements and creativity of Meltys Quest fused with its superior art style, it could have "easily" taken over as best eroge on steam....   I'm obviously in the minority here, but after spending some hours on this game I want to give my thoughts. This game was probably not meant for me, but I want to say that I gave it a fair shot. I've been playing more diverse adult games lately and so I tried to do everything in this one. I found all the scenes except some Mohawk Guy ones. So my playtime is probably a good measure of length if you rush. I feel like this game was an empty, soulless shell. From the first time you're introduced to the characters, it's obvious that they just exist for the sex. Their personalities and motivations are paper thin. I get that this game is for a corruption fetish (which I admit I don't have) but I don't understand how that fetish works when no one acts like a human being and most of the scenarios are downright silly. Lots of work has been put into the sex scenes, but nothing else. Roads lead nowhere, message boards are empty, the combat is so generic the game encourages you to skip it, you fight the same enemies a bazillion times, etc. The characters don't have very many expressions and the expression on screen often doesn't match the dialogue. The one that really bugs me is that the ending doesn't even seem to change, regardless of how much the characters have done together. I guess none of that is the point, though, so I was approaching this game from the wrong angle. I wanted the characters and plot to be characters and plot, when they're actually set dressing. All that matters is the sex scenes, and judging from reviews, those are what people want. The sex itself struck me as a little monotonous. There's some variation of positions and colors of phalluses, but many scenes are similar. Poses you've seen before and dialogue that's nearly the same, but with a different hair color and breast size. There was some variety deeper into the game, but mostly it sticks close to a few rote formulas. The scenes weren't for me, and neither was the game. YMMV.

  Had to buy this to support the devs for releasing the first patch to fully uncensor a game in steam (patch is outside steam). I hope they learn from this and keep on making fully uncensored patches for next games , the cgs look amazing without the censure. https://kaguragames.com/patch/

  As basic as any retro styled JRPGs go, even with the erotic content. A generic dungeon crawler that is not too difficult to say the least. My only complaint is the lacking of erotic content for this game, it's too little. ALSO, even though the protagonist is not your typical female lead, she is CONSTANTLY put on the submissive side and can't turn the tables around since the script demands that she takes that D regardless if she is that 'famous strong adventurer'. Why can't more ero JRPGs have more sexually aggressive female protagonists? Or the option to 'turn' her into one? FOR ONCE I would like to see the female protagonists in these games have the ability to turn tables around her oppressors (rapists) and milk them dry (preferably until dead via 'dehydration'). Because NOTHING is scarier for a man than when the 'hunter' becomes the 'hunted'. I happen to enjoy that twist rather than the staple, 'can't fight back because of some random maguffin' shenanigans or scripted scenarios. Those are getting stale. I honestly can't enjoy these scenarios because they might as well be rape scenes, for all intents and purposes. Wouldn't YOU like to see the women getting the upper hand when the man is getting too cocky in 'bed' for his own good?

  Gotta say I honestly hate this game. Game play, not bad. But my problems are pretty simple you have zero agency over what happens to other characters, like example one character that just so happens to constantly be in the wrong place and wrong time is eventually forced to sell her virginity to even afford a room after she lost everything in the dungeon and the Mc is fully aware that she's broke yet isn't presented an option to change that, or a knight that broke her weapon to save you is black mailed for repairs by the only Smith. This presents the MC as a brain dead idiot that doesn't think for anyone but herself. Is it asking too much for a hentai game where the hentai is wholesome?
