  Very good and powerful tool, with a lot of customization options and sensors! Could be useful for those who care about critical values or just want to see where is "bottleneck" on PC or overall particular game optimization.

  I've long been looking for something to replace FRAPS that gives great functionality with a low system footprint. I was browsing the software channel on Steam and up popped this, FPS monitor. After reading the blurb I paid my money and installed, and wasn't disappointed. The level of customisation with this utility is mind bending. It will display literally everything aside from FPS it does 1% and 0.1% frames, CPU stats, GPU stats, RAM stats, shows your screen res, DX level, network stats and page file use. This is by no means an exhaustive list, I've only scratched the surface in the last 24 hours. There are a series of ready-made templates to cater for basic or advanced system sts, a series of templates for streamers that focus more on the net stats and some dedicated to all out benchmarking. It comes with the ability to warn of temperature levels that are totally user definable and you can even add in your own text boxes with fully editable fonts to really give your stats panel the custom look. But here's a real coup, one that the devs don't seem to have made a big sell of. You can place graphics at any position (as you can with any part of any module) on the screen. I see two big customer bases here, streamers and no-scopers. You can place a graphic in any part of the screen, bind it to a key set and turn it on and off at will, this could be a streamer's on-screen logo. No-scopers could equally use this feature to place anything from a simple red dot to a fully customised crosshair on the screen centre and turn it on and off at will. Personally, I don't use this tactic but could immediately see the possibility. The software is also *apparently 'compatible' with anti-cheats including Easy Anticheat and Battleye, among others. Please do your own research on this but I've played EFT, Insurgency Sandstorm and PUBG with no issues. This one's a no brainer and is already an absolute must for me, I felt I had to let people know what I think because I reckon this one is going to be huge, it may seem a little pricey to be fair but I still 110% recommend it. November 2020 update. FPS Monitor continues to be my everyday system tools and frame counter of choice. It's a fabulous piece of software that no Windows gamer should be without.

  Great app. But if you press auto start with windows program crashes without steam and needs to be relaunched. it would be great if there was an option to launch this without steam... or just fix crash issue guys please! Im tired i dont have mood to restart this app everytime. i will just use msi afterburner.. pls fix this

  Great program, easy to use. It is very convenient to watch various parameters that have many settings.

  The concept is great. The actual product is not. The UX is terrible. It's unstable and buggy. You'll notice all the canned profiles short the information you'd want for performance diag. If you attempt to create a profile say goodbye to your CPU thread availability. It straight up freezes and becomes a stuttering slide show. The support is useless unless you want to play email tag with one person. Also if you attempt to monitor the SSD or HDD the program is installed on, it locks up. Most of the storage sensor data points make the profile crash and corrupt it. I've never requested a refund from Steam until today. You're better off piece mealing Rainmeter, HWINFO, Riva tuner etc. You can run all of them without any performance drag.

  cant recommend because of Steam. I didn't realize it would constantly show FPS Monitor as now playing instead of my games, it is really annoying.

  Could be great but it loads before Steam starts which in turn gives an error for the licensing, it will either just not run or it will say it is in Demo mode which leaves a watermark on my screen that I can't get rid of until I log out and back into windows, there is also a problem with some games mostly borderless ones that the software doesn't pick up. This is sad as it is a nice piece of software, I for one will not go to open it every time as I'd rather have it auto start

  One of the most tedious software I have ever seen, Windows 98' vibes. 0 guides, too complex for creating two dumb widgets, While it won't even let me see my other 2 monitors. MSI burner is free and way way easier than this pile of garbage. R E F U N D E D
