Surgeon Simulator 2 Funciones

Bob’s life is in your hand! It’s time to slip into your scrubs and grab the nearest scalpel (saw or sink plunger), and enter the Bossa Labs Medical Facility in this 1-4 player physics based operating theatre of chaos.

Take on the cream of the medical establishment in riotous competitive challenges. Play frantically blood splattered coop games or go solo in Surgeon Simulator 2’s rib-tickling Campaign Mode. Wanting to inject some creativity? Jump into the Creation Mode and build brand new game levels on your own or team up to build something amazing with multiplayer creation tools. From head transplants and leg amputations, to dancing games and relay races, at Bossa Labs, you choose your own way to play!

Plunge into frenzied Competitive Mode games and lock horns, or scalpels, in free-for-all arcade and arena style levels played with friends or other players online. Go up against up to three of the best the medical world has to offer in quick-fire challenges that will amaze, surprise and test you to the very limit.

In Story Mode you can play solo or with friends and pull together as a team to perform operations, opening ribcages, choosing transplant organs, making sure Bob doesn’t bleed out - it’s a barrage of botch jobs which will test every element of your surgical skills, teamwork and creativity. As the pressure to keep the patient alive mounts, you must work like a well oiled machine, choosing to help, or hinder, the life-saving efforts in this unique and pandemonium pumped party game.

Reveal the truth behind the mysterious medical facility in Campaign Mode with a plot crafted by award winning writer Rhianna Pratchett which has more twists than Bob’s intestines. Jump in as a solo sawbones or play with friends: the truth is out there!

Nothing is ever straight-forward including head transplants - who would have known? The Bossa Labs Medical Facility is as much a character in this game as your fellow surgeons and seems to be totally trying to sabotage your surgical career with its labyrinthine corridors, devious puzzles and tricky traps.

From space stations to discos, bowling alleys to carnivals, your fellow surgeons have been creating some incredible and unlikely scenarios for surgical procedures - and they are all yours to play in with more levels and games being created all the time! Jump in and let the adventure begin!

And if the player made levels inspire you then why not unleash the full force of your creativity with a super-intuitive creative Creation Mode sandbox which comes fully loaded with Surgeon Simulator 2. We’ve given you the tools that were used to make the game including props, textures and building materials to work with. And if that wasn’t enough you can build along with friends to create awesome new levels and challenges to play and share with the Surgeon Simulator 2 community.

Fair warning to fans of Surgery Simulator (the original): if you were looking for a game like Surgery Simulator but "even more advanced" or something like that, this... isn't it. To some extent, I'm kinda disappointed. I mean, granted, the previews made it look a little more wacky so I should have been prepared, but I guess I wasn't really expecting the approach they took. I'm going to give it a thumbs up because it's still a fairly fun game in its own right... but certainly not what I was hoping for. This game has been on my wishlist for quite a while and now I'm just kinda bummed. See, original Surgeon Simulator is legendary. It's gory and graphic. It's silly as all heck. It's complex - you've really got to, er, "dig in" to get to what you're going for, and the wonky controls make it infinitely frustrating and challenging. I have had a BLAST playing the original SS. It was all about the surgeries: somehow, despite how insanely absurd it was (you're using a hatchet in your un-gloved hands to shatter the rib cage of your patient so hard that your wrist watch flies off into the gaping chest cavity?), you would find yourself completely absorbed in the task, trying to "perfect" your surgeries, trying to find new, innovative ways to complete the procedures in record time, sometimes doing things that... any real doctor would get put in jail for. This one is... I don't know, cartoony. The animation feels a little weird... it's not the worst thing I've ever seen by far, but it feels a little janky and awkward. The hand in SS felt natural; the outstretched arm in SS2 makes me feel like I've become a zombie and my semi-limp arm is dangling in front of me. The tools are very cartoonish-looking; rather than looking like precision instruments, the needles, for example, are these great big tubes bigger than your hand. Speaking of which, variety of tools is way down as well. There's plenty of non-surgery garbage in all the rooms to interact with, but just a few basic surgery tools. I love the idea of getting "creative" and using wacky tools to perform the surgeries, but what am I going to do with like fifty boxes in a room? I think lots of people unfamiliar with the original SS will enjoy the levels, but I think a lot of the original SS fans will be either slightly or majorly off-put by the levels. In the original SS, when you began a level, you were at the surgery table, and that's where you stayed for the entire surgery. In this one, you have to go all over the place, from room to room, pushing buttons and flipping switches and crawling through air ducts. While it offers a sort of fun challenge and you see how comically awful this hospital truly is, it distracts from the thing that made SS so fun: the surgeries. It feels like I spend more time wandering around the levels plugging in fuses and pushing buttons than working on my patient. I don't really care to solve a bunch of puzzles to get the replacement organs... I just want to dig in, take out the defective organ, and toss in the new one. So those who didn't play SS might enjoy the wacky run-around, but I'm not sure SS fans will enjoy that element of SS2 as much. Also the surgeries are a bit of a let-down as well. SS fans will know what I'm talking about. In SS it was gory - you were ripping out organs that would flop around and bleed everywhere. Some of them were highly detailed, like the large intestine, which would act like a real long, rubbery, stringy thing: you could drape it on things, or swing it around, or whatever. The organs in SS2 look like solid units, some of which are weirdly disproportional (eg. the "large intestine" is this solid unit, a tiny little block that doesn't flop around or anything funny. It's so small.). There's not much of a "dig" to get to what you're working on.. you just kinda... stab organs with a scalpel and pull 'em out. One thing that is MAJORLY fun is the addition of limb/head removal. New in SS2 is the ability to do arm, leg, or head transplants... and in true SS theme, you have to line up your giant saw, saw away, toss the old limb away, splat on the new one. That is one of the aspects that REALLY fits in with the SS feel and I was overjoyed to see this. It does feel a bit unrealistic to be able to pull a patient's arm right off with your bare hands, but that kind of insanity is what I expect from SS, so I don't count it against this iteration of the game. That's a blast. SS2 does still capture the silly, messy, completely medically inaccurate feel of SS, as well. You still get plenty of laughs and plenty of completely absurd, absolutely unrealistic scenarios. You're still expected to perform outlandish surgeries that make no sense. If that was your draw, this still has it. Also having fun with the character customization, and the addition of daily goals makes it kinda fun, too. I also like the blood infusion needle - in SS I have no idea how many times I tore my hair out as my patient bled out. In this one, you've got "red" needles which will add blood to the patient. That's fun. The ability to move around the environment adds a neat dimension to the procedure - don't like the angle you're working from? Simple. Move to the other side of the table. Well, I've had a lot of negative to say and some positive - is it worth the thumbs up, and worth the full price? I am not sure how to answer that. I think the reaction is going to vary widely. I think a lot of the original Surgery Simulator fans are going to be very disappointed. I think many of them, like me, are going to find this game amusing in its own way, even if it will never quite attain the glories of its predecessor. (I for one know I will STILL be spending a lot more time with the original than this one.) Maybe some will like this one more, I don't know.. I don't think many will, but it's possible. I think the REAL draw for this game will be the folks who have never played the original - these will be the people who aren't put off by spending more time in the ENVIRONMENT of the surgery, than on the actual surgery. I really think if you've never played the original, you'll like this game a lot more than people who have. Worth full price? Perhaps. I paid full price and so far I'm not upset about it. Maybe it might be worth it to wait for a sale, but it's not like the game is complete crap.. it's not like there's not a decent amount of content and laughs to be had. Like I said I'm enjoying it so far and will definitely put some more time in it. (Still will be putting more time into the original, though.. haha) Have yet to try multiplayer. Will edit review when I have.

If you wanted more Surgeon Simulator 1 + Multiplayer, this is a bit of a downer. The surgery aspect has been dumbed down to playing with the equivalent of a barbie doll. In exchange, they've added platforming, puzzles, and a bunch of mutators to make the surgery itself harder. But I wasn't looking for platforming and puzzle solving to reach that organ to finish the transplant, I was looking for more & more complex surgeries! That said, this can still be a fun multiplayer game, with all the 'minigames' and whatnot, but I personally would only get this on discount, as it's not what I was looking for.

What I really loved about the original game was from the title alone you actually felt like a Surgeon, the sequel just felt like you were a lab rat in a 'Portal' like setting. I honestly like every aspect of the sequel as they added more things to the original formula but it failed to deliver in bringing on the old formula and improving on it. It just didn't give me the same joy I felt while playing the original.

The new mechanics such as the handsaw do not work well enough to have been implemented. The charm of the original seems to be gone, and just left behind frustration.

tl;dr Game is broken. hate to say it, but plain and simple broken. Bossa had the brilliant idea to save progression, and unlocks server side meaning you HAVE to have an internet connection for any of your progress to be available to you, but what's worse is the fact that system doesn't even work. Made it to level 8 six different times since launch. Think about that. I literally played a level, and the game just decided I was level 3 again, multiple times. When pointed out the devs only response was "we're aware there's issues with the servers." Cool, the game has been out for over a year (on Epic) yet somehow still doesn't work. Boy that sure gives us fans of your previous titles hope for this one. I said on the discussions, progression shouldn't be saved server side. There's absolutely no reason or justification that could be offered to warrant this. this isn't an MMORPG, this isn't a competitive FPS. You put development time into a system that doesn't even need to exist, and now spending more time trying to make it work. Scrap it. Ler people play offline AND KEEP THEIR PROGRESSION LOCALLY.

Finally A Game Where I Can Cut Some Balls

They took everything that made the original game fun and quirky and decided to completely shit on it. Surgeon Simulator was fun because the controls were weird and you were trying to do these precise tasks. This feels more like they were ripping off Portal, and the surgery part was an afterthought. Too late for me to get a refund, so I just want the devs to use my $20 to buy some coffee and wake the fuck up.

Poorly-developed physics puzzle game with a theme of surgery crammed into the corner so they could reuse the "Surgeon Simulator" name. If you were hoping for more of the kind of wacky surgery predicaments that made the first game lovable, there is none of that here. Zero. If you're looking for a physics based puzzle game, you can do much better.
