  The game has genuine potential but just isn't what you'd expect right now. The game is constantly throwing tutorial-quests at you that are unskippable and honestly pointless. Instead of just being able to chill with your squad, the game often directs you to leave your campsite, go to a new campsite, fulfill multiple tasks, and repeat. Technically you could ignore the quests and attempt to play freely, but the game play itself is riddled with bugs or frustrating mechanics. Sleeping doesn't fast forward to the morning, instead it forces you to wait the entire night. A majority of the items you choose for your backpack at the start are simply unusable or unable to be placed, including the cooler, journal, and plates/forks/cups. Fighting is also annoying since all players die in one hit - whether it's from a single punch or an axe. Energy/Stamina becomes a tedious mechanic since the game doesn't explain how to refill it, so you'll likely be walking the rest of the game after the first 5 minutes. The axe itself will just bounce off objects without doing any damage. Even the traps are buggy since you can't interact with them once they've caught something. Overall the game gets very boring and tedious after you realize how underwhelming it is. I do really enjoy the style and idea of it, but it's just not worth playing right now.

  This is a really fun game, but there are some things that I dislike. First of all, sleeping doesn't fast forward time, you just sit there for a few minutes, which, arguably, is rather boring. Secondly, some items have no uses, even though you can pack them. (Such as cups, plates, eating utensils, books, pencils/pens, books/magazines, and the journal and some other stuff). The game has nice graphics, and fun to play, but I feel like one larger map that would combine the forest biome, the snowy biome, and the desert biome, and you could travel between them and camp in any of them freely without having to switch between maps. Now, for the part about the maps provided: Classic Forest: Classic Forest is basically the tutorial map, and basically teaches you how to play, etc. Temperature doesn't really make a difference in this map, compared to the other 2 maps. Snow Camping Map: This map offers more of a free experience, rather than it being a tutorial map. Temperature is also a challenge, and you can freeze. Desert Map: Similar to the Snow Camping Map, you have a more free experience, rather than it being a tutorial map. Water is also scarce, and temperature is also a challenge. ----------- What I believe should be added: Like mentioned previously, I believe there should be one larger map with all of the biomes put together and you can travel between them freely. I also believe more items should have uses, and you should be able to pack clothes, for different temperatures and weather. (For example, thicker clothes for snowy map, thinner clothes for desert map). Other than that, it's a really fun game, and I suggest you try it out!

  as an avid camper, this is borderline the real experience! from the bears and snakes, to maliciously killing my friend with a stick, its so realistic! 10/10 would buy again!

  Game is buggy and doesn't work properly. Developers have abandoned it. Do not buy. Fun concept but wont be finished.

  Very buggy and very linear/short. At this time, it's only $5 but anyone wishing to play needs to know that it's clearly been abandoned by the dev team. Don't expect much out of it at all, and especially don't expect the game to get any better. The company has promised updates for a long time but the game seems to have been abandoned in favor of releasing two new games - all three of these games have released around the same time for three years in a row (May 2021, 2022, 2023). Idk. That just seems suspicious/potentially scummy from my perspective. I can't really recommend it, tbh.

  Game is fine enough, a little barebones but definitely something that would be enjoyable with a group of friends. Some suggestions would be, add marshmallows, crackers, & chocolate, just a little fun thing to add. Also add a peaceful mode so we dont have to get mauled by bears and snakes and we can just enjoy the camping part.
