  This is a very simplistic 3D platformer that is not very difficult at all. The main reason to play this game would be for its incredible atmosphere and feel, and an quick and easy 100%. You could easily breeze through this game in 15 or 20 minutes honestly, but I took my time to enjoy it and did it in 45 minutes. The ascetic is great. it feels like you're adventuring into Heaven with some Greek feel in the architecture. You control a block with lights swarming around you, and all you are able to do is move around and jump, also double jump. You go from spot to spot just stepping on these red crystal like orbs that give you a blurb of inspirational message. Each message is part of a greater over arching narrative that basically is telling you to follow your dreams and ideas and never give up. You complete each level by getting to a golden version of your block person who is a member of the Council. Then at the end you reach them all and become a member of the Council yourself. Very simple, only a handful of levels with not very challenging tasks. There is a bit of problem solving on some of the levels, but any experienced gamer can figure them out pretty quickly, even through just trial and error. Two of the levels I just accidentally'd myself past some obstacles and got to the end. Really simple and relaxing and a good way to blow off some steam for about 30 minutes.

  This game isn't bad, but it's not great either. It's about 30min long (unless you go back and replay for achievements), and pretty much impossible to fail. The gameplay consists mostly of wandering along retrieving fortune cookies and hitting switches until you advance to the next zone. It's different, it's chill, but it's not amazing. One really frustrating aspect to me is that it allows you to use a controller for navigation, but not for camera control or jumping... so... what's the point? What this game has going for it: * relaxed pace, chill music/visuals * unusual concept * low price point What's holding it back: * lacks controller support * fortune cookies are more annoying than thought provoking * very short * graphics are at best mediocre

  So don´t get me wrong on this. Viaerium isn´t a particulary bad game, but it definitly isn´t worth the asking price of 2,39€, but if you have a coupon from a badge on this game or it is in a sale, I would encourage you to buy it and have a pretty funny and chilled half hour with it. Lets talk about the game now. Viaerium is a pretty simplistic and short (30-45min) 3D platformer with the goal of reaching the council, not that difficult mechanics and an also rather minimalistic menu. You can´t change your keybinds, which to be fair isn´t neccesary, but otherwise the menu has everything you need. If you then start a new game, you get thrown in a blocky world, and you need to find the golden blocks to get to the next level. On the way you can collect some sort of magical stones or something like that. You need all of them if you want to get one of the three achievments. They are also spread around each level, and they give you an inspirational quote if you pick them up. Those look like they are straight copied out of a cheap book with lots of those quotes. In my opinion the ingame music got a bit annoying after a time, but you can just turn it of if you want. Otherwise there is not much to tell about the game, exept that you will have a pretty relaxed half hour. PS: I´m sorry for my grammatical mistakes, but English is not my native language.

  Painfully short and incredibly boring. Spend roughly 30 minutes accomplishing your life goals as a cube with floaty controls and poor game play. If you enjoy picking up orbs of "wisdom" and accomplishing nothing I recommend this soothing 3D walking cube simulator about a journey to fulfill your life's dream
