  The game itself looks fantastic, I wish I could say more but the low FPS makes it very frustrating to play. As it's still in early access, I won't give it a negative review because I have faith that the devs will fix the problem and or add more graphical options, and again, from what I could see, the game is certainly amazing. I will give a better and more detailed review in the future.

  i am not impressed, i am waiting for the campaign/full release. its certainly not a runner duck project. hopefully its as dynamic and open as the campaigns in bomber crew and space crew. after all this is the exact same game but with a boat.

  This game is looking exceptionally promising so far. The boats are nice to drive around and combat is fun. I also like the approach to the realistic-arcade debate which always exists in this kind of game- it's an arcade game, but is made with respect to the reality of the systems involved. The developers are very active and willing to listen to player feedback, which makes any bugs much less frustrating, as reports are taken seriously and acted on. Finally, I think customisation and improvisation is a big part of what makes small vessels interesting, and that is why I very much appreciate the fact that the devs are putting a lot of effort into this aspect of the game.

  Short Review: Bomber Crew...but with PT Boats. Alternatively, naval technical warfare. Longer Review: While as of writing this (August 28th, 2022), it is fairly incomplete, with only the tutorial, challenges, and Fleet Endurance (Wave Survival), most of, if not all of, the gameplay mechanics are here and accounted for. You have three models of vessel that can carry a number of weapons such as, but not necessarily limited to, machineguns, torpedoes, rockets, and infantry anti-tank guns (my personal favorite). You can use these weapons in hit-and-run type attacks, lest you risk getting turned into floating popsicle sticks by a single hit from a Destroyer's guns, or the strafings of Ki-45s and A6M Zeroes, which aren't terribly good to your crew's long term health either. The Tutorial is exactly what it sounds like, teaching you the essentials such as managing crew, the resources stocked up on deck, how to target enemies, and call in various support options, such as artillery, allied aircraft, or even another boat to assist you. Challenges give you a pre-determined loadout for you to complete tasks ranging from hunting down a DD, "stealthily" suppressing AA guns, sinking small patrol craft and submarines alike, or sniping enemies with aforementioned AT guns. Fleet Endurance is wave survival, with each wave throwing progressively more and more foes of increasingly more capability. To counter this, you can set up your selected hull with previously mentioned weapon types, or buy friendly AI craft to act as additional support and/or distractions. Can't wait for the campaign to come out.

  8/30/22 Development is going well, I played the demo a fair bit before investing and I suggest people do the same, it's a combination micromanager/action game akin to bomber/tank crew, but it does what it does well thus far and I found it worthy of the payment.
